This place is really exceptional, they have an extensive menu and full bar. Ate dinner here last night and breakfast this morning and was not disappointed. The staff is friendly and cheerful. If you’re ever in Needles this stop is a must, even if you just come in for the biscuits and gravy it is well worth it. Also breakfast is free if you stay at either Rio Del Sol Inn or Best Western.

PRICY !!! We stopped in for breakfast this morning. It was our first time here. The menu greeted us with traditional fare: Egg dishes, pancakes, French toast, burritos. Prices for most egg dishes were $ 10.50−11.00. Sorry… that’s just too much for what ought to be $ 6.00−7.00 entrees. We left and went elsewhere. «Scott’s Rivers Edge» isn’t far away and the prices on their menu(see the picture on their Unilocal review) were much more reasonable. However, today they were undergoing some renovation and weren’t open :( We wound up at McD’s. The egg mcmuffin was $ 4.29(about $ 1.00 higher than usual) but soft drinks were $ 1.00(any size). Needles isn’t known for great prices. The«traveller tax» is quite high on fuel and food. Much better prices can be found just north, in Arizona, e.g., in nearby Mohave Valley and further Laughlin.

We had dinner at this restaurant and were VERY pleased with both the food and the service! This is a large, clean restaurant with friendly staff. My husband had the tri-tip dip and said it was really good. I had the chicken melt and loved it! Definitely a great place to visit if you find yourself in or near Needles, CA

Absolutely perfect experience. The place is big, lots of seating, restrooms are clean and our waitress was very friendly. The food arrived in a timely fashion and the Bloody Mary gets 10 stars according to my mom. Pops ordered a plate of the Chili Size, a big pile of chili and cheese with onions smothered over a 100% beef patty and hamburger buns. I tried some and it was damn good. My mom and I ordered the Steak Salad which was by far superior to any steak salad I’ve ever had. Eight ounces of delicious sirloin steak served atop a salad rich with red bell peppers and chunks of blue cheese and a side of sweet/spicy orange cilantro dressing. This will be my pit stop from now on as I travel through Needles.

CHRISTIE L. MADEMEDOIT! Ever been in the middle of nowhere, and starving for some reasonably priced tasty grub? It was a chilly eve, post-hike day in the Mojave National Preserve with The Crew and while some of The Crew was cookin’ dem grub over a campfire, a few of us took to the streets of Needles in search of a warm, friendly, comfy eatery. Having no frame of reference about Needles, or their eateries, I opened up my handy dandy Unilocal App and did a Nearby Search. To what did my eyes see? A fellow Unilocaler, Christie L.‘s review for Juicy’s. Having met Christie on Unilocal,as well as in person, I had an inkling of her tastes and knew, this place was all that and a scoop of ice cream. On-site parking was more than enough for the several cars in our group to park. Upon walking in, there were a few patrons scattered about, but we were quickly seated all together, by our hostess with the mostest. Our server, Linda welcomed us with a grand smile and a cheery voice. She took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. The menu items were descriptive and some were even featured with a pic. We visual peeps love picture menus. Granted, some eateries pics look so much better than the actual delivery itself. Not this place. In fact, the pic didn’t do our plates justice. After I placed my order, I went to check out the condition of the restroom, I mean, go wash up. Much to my surprise, the ladies room was nicely decorated, door locks in working order, clean and well stocked. A bar area sits off the main dining area and flat screen TVs played the day’s football game. Lunch counter faced the kitchen, which was not some hidden room behind a swinging door, instead it was wide open for all to see what the cooks were cookin’ up. Clean and well lit cooks would call out servers name when orders were up and each said please and thank you to one another, not to mention a few nicknames, like Sweetie and Honey. Idle chit chat among employees were personal and friendly. Not long after we placed our orders did our food start flying to our table with the greatest of ease. Linda must have been a professional Frisbee thrower. I jest, our food wasn’t flung at us at all. Linda took pride in providing outstanding customer service. ORDERED: While a freakton of food was ordered by me and The Crew, we were all quite hangry, so I had to defer doing a full food porn spread and let them gorge. However, I did manage to keep the food grubbers away from my plate while I did a private food porn session of my own meal, The Rib Sampler. A quarter rack of their famous ribs, which was served with cole slaw, ranch beach(swapped for fruit, beans and hiking do not pair well), and French fries. Brownie Sundae was what was for dessert. Fresh baked brownie heaped with real Vanilla ice cream & smothered in hot fudge. Then topped with Whipped cream & sprinkled with crushed nuts. Good golly!!! While I picked up each rib intending to eat the meat off the bones, I ended up having to use my fork. The meat slid off the bones with such simplicity, it was like a lot of ice cream melting on a freshly baked brownie. And the flavors burst in my mouth like fireworks on the 4th of July. Check this out, Linda asked me, I didn’t ask her, for ranch dressing for my fries. Wow! First time I’ve been asked that one. KUDOSLINDA!!! Just when I didn’t think it could get any better, Linda brought over an extra plate, with a doily on it for my naked bones, rib bones, that is. Extra napkins and moist Towelettes were also brought to our table. Knowing it would take some time for the brownie to be freshly baked, several of us placed our order while we finished our dinner. «Linda,» the cook called out, «Brownie Sundaes are ready for pick up, please.» No sooner than he called out our sundaes that Linda scooped them up and delivered them to our table. Within the 10 seconds it took for them to be placed in front of us, was the ice cream already melting on the freshly baked brownie. And it was Mmm mmm good. ONTHESLIDE: Looking for a great eatery with free onsite parking, friendly employees, clean interior, and amazing food, in the middle of nowhere, take it from Christie, The Crew, and me, Juicy’s is worth pulling off the highway for. Me and The Crew were extremely happy with all aspects of Juicy’s.

Great pastrami on rye and Baja chicken melt! Fast, friendly service. A great stop along I-40. My only complaint was the iced tea was cloudy and stale tasting.

Great stop along the road back to SF. Huge portions to fill up with, super friendly service and lots of options for breakfast and lunch. It’s also clean and an easy spot to hang out in and get a break from driving. Definitely recommend if you’re on the stretch of I-40 from the Grand Canyon to CA that doesn’t have much by way of good food. It won’t disappoint!

I really like this place, the service is excellent and the food well done and the portions a large. A very nice bar with plenty of room. I’ve liked everything I’ve had here and have never had a problem. Oh wait their WiFi blows! and I don’t like wavy fries.

This place was awesome! I called ahead to ask if they were dog friendly and they said no problem, when we got here they had a room set up just for us! They were so accommodating and patient with us. The food here was great. The biscuits here are homemade! Breakfast was well portioned and priced fairly. I will without a doubt stop by here again on the way to the grand canyons. Eating here is a must

We found Juicy’s from Unilocal on our drive out to Flagstaff, AZ. Great stop. Unassuming place on the outside, but a nice diner on the inside. Food was good with a good selection of choices. If you have kids this is definitely the place to go. Good choices for the kids at great prices. If you have kids like ours, sometimes they are hungry and sometimes they eat very little. Pricing and selection was excellent with great service.

We try not to eat out when we’re at the river, but hubby and I decided to head on over to Juicy’s for breakfast. I ordered the cinnamon nut roll French toast and hubby had chocolate chip pancakes with a side of well done hash brown with grilled onions. I was super excited because I normally stick to my two eggs, well done hash browns with wheat toast, but I was feeling adventurous today. Hubby had a great meal. His well done hash browns with grilled onions came out perfect and his chocolate chip pancakes were fresh and the chocolate chips were all melts and gooey on top. I was a bit disappointed because my French toast had a strange sour aftertaste. Almost as if the cinnamon roll was made with a sourdough bread. I’m not a «pour syrup all over the toast» type eater, but I’m sure if I was, I probably wouldn’t have noticed the sourness in the toast. When I inquired if it should taste sour, Jenee, our server, stated that it’s something that they order so she’s not sure of the type of bread that they use. Overall, it was still good and a healthy sizes portion as well. Jenee, was prompt and very friendly. Had our food out quick, kept our drinks refilled and and service was great.

Stopped here for a late lunch and we were seated immediately. The hostess was friendly and so was our waitress. It was empty when we walked in but you could smell food cooking. I ordered the Granny’s club on sweet berry wheat and fries. The bread had a nice hint of sweetness to it but not over powering on everything else. The fries were perfectly seasoned. My companion orderd the wings and he said they were very good. Well seasoned. I’m glad we found this place because I was about to stop at subway but instead seen a sign for this place.

We treat ourselves to a meal at Juicy’s often. It is about a 20 minute drive each way from our home but well worth the trip. Service is always fantastic. Portions always huge and food quality is outstanding. Mushrooms and onion rings are the best. Stuffed pepper soup is unusual but awesome. Philly cheesesteak sandwich is the best anywhere around and the BLT is over the top. Can’t really comment on the dessert. They all look great but we never have had room to try them. About once a month we go out with a group of 10 friends and we all went to Juicy’s a couple of months ago and they are still raving about how great it was. They seated us in a small separate dining area and that made it more special. We have also eaten at Juicy’s location in Lake Havasu and the quality and service is excellent as well.

What a great restaurant located in a town of Nothingness, I mean Needles. On Route 66 we were making a pit stop for grub and gas, and of course I turned to Unilocal to see where we could eat… and Juicy’s was on the top of the list. We were immediately greeted as we entered and seated, our waitress brought our coffee instantly. It was fairly early in the morning, but this place was busy with weary travelers and locals alike. I ordered the Florentine Benedict and added Canadian bacon, and the bf ordered the Green Chili Omelet. Our waitress was most friendly and chatted us up a bit, without being annoying. It sounded like most the wait staff around us was in good spirits and making small talk with everyone they served. Our food came out in a timely manner, and hey for a pit stop this was some pretty delicious grub. This may not be usually considered a five star restaurant but for the area, the good food, and wonderful wait staff it definitely deserves all five stars. If you are on the road, and your tired of fast food… EATHERE!!!
