My only regret for Needham Pediatrics is that they do not have a «graduate» program for when your child hits 21 and ages out of the practice. Highly recommend Dr. Stern for his practical advice at all ages and his good humor.

Okay, I forgot I wrote this review FIVE years ago. I felt compelled to update it. In the last 5 years, NP has improved. My daughter did see Dr. M before she left and now sees Dr. Helm. My only complaint is that Dr. H doesn’t really work … much …(do any doctors work 5/days a week? 4/days a week? 3?) so we rarely see her. Luckily, this is okay because(knock on wood) my daughter is generally in good health and she’s seen all of the other doctors(Dr. Rosen is adorable). My Unilocal review update is concerning that facility as a whole. The nurses are very kind; the admin are typically pleasant; and best of all, the staff always has time to see my daughter when she’s ill — they’ve even stayed open until 6:30 pm on a week night to see her when I couldn’t get there earlier. AND they are open Saturdays. Also the nurse call-back line always works well(I call often for dumb little things and they don’t even make fun of me). They call back within the hour every time and they are courteous and always answer my questions. So, NP, nice improvement from 2010.

We switched over from Newton Wellesley a couple years ago to Needham Pediatrics because our average wait time for appointments was 90 minutes. It was unbearable. Now we are seen on time by Dr. Stern who was referred to us via numerous recommendations as «THE» pediatrician in Needham to have your kids see. We have a 3 and 5 yo and have had nothing but excellent care. The staff are smart, great with kids and parents alike. On the several occasions where our kids woke up sick they fit us in within an hour or two of our call. Highly recommend without hesitation.
