Mazzio’s Pizza

Love their pizza as long as you only order one. Had two and the one was soggy. But order one and it was great each time.

We are working here from out of town we were looking for a Pizza Hut but couldn’t find one in the area so we decided to try this place we walked up to counter looking at menu the young girl behind counter was rude and rushing us I finally told her we never been here in my stern voice we should of left right then and there she did say sorry then we the young man brought pizza out we told him hi and thank you he never said a word he put pizza down and walked away no one ever came and checked on us and to top it off the pizza and bread sticks and cinnamon sticks were all pitiful we will never be back there again. WE should of kept looking for a Pizza Hut !!! AND TO OWNER YOU NEED TO GET ALOT FRIENDLIER STAFF

We still enjoy the food here, but decided a while back that we’ll only be ordering takeout. The upkeep has gotten so bad, the interior sometimes smells foul, table surfaces, or any surface got that matter, seem perpetually dirty. And please don’t get me started on the bathrooms. I feel like our family needs to take a Purell bath after we leave!

This is not a bad review but pretty much a neutral one. There is another on in Nederland (about 20 minutes away) which if you have the salad bar will find out that they do not offer the Romaine type lettice and you are stuck with Iceberg.
The interior is pretty much different than the layout at it’s other location but almost the same type of interior hardware like sofa fountain machine, tables, carpeting, lobby etc, just looks like somebody came in and moved things around.
Parking shouldn’t be a problem since it is on it’s own stand alone building but adjacent to the comfort food place that has a much larger parking lot.
Prices are the same here and also very reasonable.
Staff seems pretty much a little more upbeat and kept here since there actually was somebody in charge that was over 30 years old.
Interior is kept clean and exterior seems to be a few decades old but holding it’s own.
There is an ultra arcade in the back towards the right as you walk in for your kids to entertain themselves in.
The $ 9 for personal pizza with 3 toppings, trip to salad bar is a great deal. You could get full off of the salad bar alone.

Decided to give them a try. We ordered a specialty thin crust pizza and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks came with a thick dipping sauce that had a good flavor. The pizza was done just right, we had the 4 meat. The crust was done and not burnt which happens a lot when you order thin crust. So was pleased to see it cooked properly. Very friendly staff. The guy that brought out pizza stopped back a couple times checking on us and brought us a to go box for the left overs. We will definitely be back again.

Hoping there is a better pizza place around because this place was a disappointment. I guess the best thing here is salad bar…
