Quite possibly the worst restaurant in the history of food… Two families went tonight cause it was close to the condos. I ordered the fish tacos and the fish was so hard I was afraid to break a tooth… No servers to complain to… My wife’s nachos came from the convenience store next door… Daughter had what looked like chicken strips and no sides came with it. Stay away set all costs. If you are hungry, go to Burger King about one mike away. At least they no what they are doing… Frighin’ terrible and I am being nice. Stay away.

Great atmosphere, the pizza was pretty good but, the service sucked. Our waitress seemed pissed of at life and ruined the whole experience.

10 years of visiting Sailor’s. Have had many good meals here and when I was a regular always good service, kinda would stay away during peak tourist times. Best times for me were muffins and coffee in the morning on the deck or some key lime pie and iced tea in the afternoon — those items get a 5 star from me.

Sailor’s Grill Bakery and Bar at Juanas Pagodas brings a variety of Burgers and Seafood to the table with a casual beech atmosphere. Since I don’t live on the coast, all of the seafood here in Florida is better than what I can traditionally get. Sailor’s Grill has a variety of fish selections, as well as sandwiches and burgers to please just about anyone. The food is always good, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The drink selection leaves a little to be desired. There is a very limited beer selection, and the mixed beverages are hit or miss in quality.

Horrible management, empty tables yet hour wait to get food, not to mention the wait to be seated and when asked if we could sit in the bar area we were told that they just couldn’t accommodate that many people with their small kitchen. Asked for the manager who was very argumentative. When we asked to speak with the owner we were told to look around and that they were not hurting for business at all. I guess that means they have enough to suit them. The one saving grace was the food and the employee who was on break as we were leaving who apologized for the long wait. He said it happens all the time. They have one small kitchen to serve three restaurant and bar areas. Get a new manager or shut the doors. We have been coming here for years and never had an issue until now. I guess the jet ski rentals, volleyball courts and stand up board rentals are their main concern. The restaurant at the Pier is great and much better service even with all chairs full.

i live on navarre beach and usually enjoy sunday breakfast here. it is true what they say about the breakfast and the bakery items are very yummy. that is all washed by the rude and extremely slow service. we sat down on a sunday and it was busy so we understood we may have had to wait a bit. the male server i have seen referenced in other post(how ironic) finally got to us and stated no one told him we were there. no biggie so we ordered drinks and 40 minutes later just for drinks the order was wrong. since we were sitting there so long we asked to move into the shade and we did. now we are at an hour and the male server is taking new tables inside while we are sitting out there still without our drinks. so i just asked if we could have another server and it seemed only fair since we took a table in her section. i never complained nor did i ask to speak with the manager but she felt necessary to come to our table and loudly ask if there was a problem. we were then treated like«complainers» outright obvious that we were tagged in the place by all the workers. these people are wack and customer service can use improving because you are not all that. but hey i love love the bendie straws…

This review is only for my Bushwacker drink and it was excellent! The bartender could have used a little pep in his step or maybe because it’s the off-season I got the b-team attitude. Surely, it wasn’t because of the drink I ordered since the panhandle is known for these drinks. In any case, I got my drink and scurried off to a seat overlooking the water and enjoyed it. There was only one other table taken, by a family. I opted not to order food based on the other reviews but for drinks and atmosphere, I’m giving this place 3.5 stars or 3 stars since there are no half-stars

My husband and I were looking for a good fish sandwich for lunch. This place is right on the water and had decent reviews, so we decided to try it. The view was very nice and it had a nice casual, atmosphere so we were expecting to some great seafood. Unfortunately, that is not what we got. I asked what fish they were serving on the fish sandwich, and we were told that it was Haddock. From Alaska. Again, this restaurant is literally right on the water. I was very disappointed that they didn’t have any local, fresh fish. So we both ordered shrimp instead. Well, I should have asked if that was local, because it was obviously frozen shrimp. I don’t understand why a seafood restaurant right on the water can’t serve fresh seafood! Our server was not rude, but not particularly nice either. However we were horrified by the woman waiting on the table next to us. When she delivered their drinks, she had several soft drinks on her tray for the children at the table. She hesitated before setting the drinks down, stating that she couldn’t remember which one was the diet drink. So she TOOK A SIPOFONEOFTHEDRINKS, and then set it down on the table once she had presumably decided it was the diet drink. My husband and I were dumbfounded, but even more so by the fact that the people at the table didn’t seem to mind! Or at least they didn’t say anything. Overall I was pretty disappointed with this place.

Serious breakfast! I was shocked at the fluffy, outrageous omelet. The bread was over-the-top perfection. Biscuits, ditto. Grits the way your Momma made them. I’ll eat the rest of the menu & report back on lunch & dinner menu. I would give it the additional star if the kitchen were not so slow… however, some things are worth waiting for. On the bay, cool patio. Relaxed beach atmosphere. Navarre Beach reminds me of the Carolina coast from days past.

I ended up in Navarre Beach rather unexpectedly one weekend, and had seen ads for Juana’s Pagodas all over the place. So we(the boyfriend and I) decided to check it out for lunch, which probably wasn’t the best idea. Lunch was ok, but nothing to rave about. The food is tasty enough. After doing some research, we found out that what they do best is breakfast/brunch and desserts. OMG the desserts! They’re amazing. Key lime pie, carrot cake, chocolate trifle with Bailey’s…the list goes on. Breakfast is also very good. The omelets are yummy, and the sticky buns are to die for, I tell you. TO. DIE. FOR. They’re huge, homemade, and covered in pecans and glaze. This place earns its stars solely on breakfast and desserts.

Not long ago I took a weekend vacation with my lady to Navarre Beach. Doing a little of research we found that one of the popular places was Juana’s Pagoda and the Sailor’s Grill Bakery & Bar. We dined there for lunch one day, stopped by for a desert that evening and then visited the following morning for breakfast before hitting the road. Lunch was ok, nothing really special. It was about what I expect from a diner, although this place is not your typical diner. The real stars of the show are the amazing deserts at the bakery counter and the fantastic breakfasts. Especially the sticky bun. It’s so good it gets its own sentence fragment. During lunch the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. In fact, it was a bit empty. When we stopped by for desert the place was a little more filled. For breakfast it was standing room only. This is *the* spot to get breakfast in Navarre apparently. Overall I’m giving it 4 stars for desert and breakfast. Have lunch and/or dinner some place else.

Food would be very good if served hot. $ 11 ribeye sandwich delivered one hour after ordering. I notified management politely and she took 10% off. Was a wee bit insulted.

Previously… my review of this place read: My brother and I go here every Sunday morning for breakfast. I usually get their Greek omlette and one if their AMAZING blueberry pancakes. Yumm-o!!! However now… it should read more like: GREAT food… HORRIBLE service. If you are going to go here make sure you’ve got TONS of time. Especially if you get the only male server in the place. He is slow… has a AWFUL attitude and is RUDE! We have since STOPPED going to Sailors’ Grill every Sunday because he sucked THATBAD!

Breakfast on the Bay! It was a great way to end a wonderful vacation. We sat outside and watched about what I think were six dolphins playing near the dock area. We really enjoyed the inpromptou show they provided for us. The food was very good. The pastry was excellent. One of my kids ordered a sticky bun which was most excellent, covered with gooey sauce and loaded with pecans. The other had a cinnamon bun which was very good as well. As for me… well I endulged on an omlet loaded with veggies. As a side they had homestyle potatos which were very good as well. The service was excellent, but I must say there were very few people there yet… we were the first in the door. I can’t comment on their dinner or lunch, but this place is PACKED in the evening. Of course I am sure that the location of overlooking the bay with the sun setting has alot to do with it too. It was a most pleasurable experience and I look forward to visiting this place on my next visit… hope the dolphins come see me too!

Sailors’ Grill offers a great place to have a meal and watch the sunset. It is directly on the water, thus you are able to arrive here by boat, wave runner, etc. as we did about a week ago. I had a grilled fish sandwich. I asked what kind of fish and our server told us it was pollock. I didn’t think about it at the time, but I don’t believe pollock is a fish you can get at the local seafood market. They could do better than this. The sandwich was fine. Nothing positive or negative about it except that the grilled fish fillet was about half of the size of the fried fillets that the others at my table enjoyed on their sandwiches. The fried fish sandwich was better than the grilled one. I didn’t try a dessert, but they looked delicious. Our server was very helpful and went out of her way to keep our children satisfied during the meal.

Had dinner here. Thoought food was great. Service was above average. Beer was a little pricey. Thought the extra island tax was kinda a joke. Only gave 4 stars because of the expense of the meal overall. Was very good food but dont think we will be back this trip.

Great place by the beach, service can be a little slow during peak times but, you have a great view of the water so it is not so painful. Good breakfast, starting to get a little pricey as they get a lot of tourist, still a pretty good value all in all.

Nothing fresh in the seafood category here! Everything was frozen and pre-packaged. The only fish in the house is pollack! Pollack in a FLSEAFOOD restaurant? Service was poor if not rude. Granted, I went in the off season but one would think they would try harder than that. Don’t waste your time or money. Go to Fort Walton to eat!

Sailor’s Grill is all about atmosphere. It’s located next to Juana’s Pagoda on Santa Rosa Sound. The galley nachos, fish fingers, and steamed shrimp are not to be missed as well as the«Pagoda» burger/sandwiches. Also, they serve a KILLER breakfast. Beer, wine and frozen/mixed drinks are available.
