Best fast food restaurant in Nauvoo. It’s close to the Nauvoo pageant and I found it had the best Wi-Fi in the whole city(fast & free). The owner also greeted us, asked how the food was, and was very friendly. She even told us the origin of the cool painting they have in their restaurant.

I love Petes! I mean, the place is a total dive… but the food is so good!!! He is only open in the summer.

Great local family owned restaurant on the edge of the city, just before one gets into the touristy part of town. Locals have known Peter(owner) for 12+ years. If he is not too busy in the kitchen or front counter, have a little chat with Peter. He will tell you about all the neat historical sites in the area and not just the main tourist ones. I loved his Fish & Chips, closest to those I have eaten in England. The shakes were awesome(blackberry), and the Navajo Taco was just too big to finish, so I had to share it with other family members. Kids loved the scones and sweet corn balls. Every item is fresh and made at time of order. The place is small and fills up fast. He is closed on Sundays so he and his workers can spend time with family and worship Christ. Bonus, he also owns and runs the RV Park behind his restaurant. If you«love» Donny Osmond, just ask Peter that you want the same spot Donny parked his Prevost RV in.
