We had just moved to Naugatuck and with hungry bellies, we eagerly searched for a solid pizza joint nearby.
Enter Mario’s.
Enter Mario’s with a delicious fury.
No delivery but a convenient location (and off street parking) makes it very accessible for a quick pickup. The staff is very respectful and reminds you time and time again that they appreciate the business.
PS — With so many delicious specialty pizzas, you’re bound to come back for more.

Quick and a close place to grab a great pizza. Everyone behind the counter is always pleasant and happy to see you when you walk in. Parking is a little tricky, I usually park in the back lot or just walk over from our house. Keep up the great work!

My first experience, I called in for a pie 10 minutes before close on a Friday night regardless; I picked up a pizza that was made with pride, fresh and hot. Instantly became a repeat customer. Consistent product, fast and courteous with quality ingredients. 000-​flour no doubt. These guys take pride in what they do; something no longer so common in the pizza game in this town. Take a look behind the counter; you will witness a kitchen operating like a well oiled machine. Easily the best pie in town.

Pepperoni pizza & italian grinder takeout was quick & tasty. I appreciate that they put the olive oil & vinegar on the side of the sub so it didn’t get soggy & I could save half for the next day. Would order from again

A pretty solid pizza joint. They didn’t deliver where I was staying but the pizza was tasty. We ordered 4 large pizzas (1 mushroom and sausage, 1 pepperoni, 2 cheese). Pretty standard New York-​style pizza. Service was fast, and they had a good group working in the back.
Next time I’m in the area I’m likely to order from here again.

Food was alright. Was so mad they forgot my ceaser salad. Paid $ 9 for it and didn’t discover till I drove all the way home. when I called them, they told me to let them know next time. Yeah, will be no next time, thanks!

Mario’s is a great place to get pizza as well as other dishes. Take out only, although there is an area to sit at tables or benches on the outside. The pizza is always great, salads, grinders and other hot dishes. never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly as well.

They also sell a variety of slices.
Everyone who works here is super friendly.
Conveniently located close to the highway. Easy on and off Route 8 exit 26.
Its primarily a takeout place but they do have a few benches in front of the restaurant for those nice summer days :-)

This is the best pizza in Naugatuck in my opinion. I go there almost on a weekly basis. The menu has about 60 specialty pizzas to choose from. My favorites are the buffalo chicken and the italian pizza (red). Their calzones are also tasty and huge. The large one will feed about 4 people.
The owner is also very nice and never fails to thank you for your business when you pick up your pie.
