This is usually our go to spot when everyone is in town. They have great appetizers and a great atmosphere over in the bar area. We had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding and I had no complaints. My favorites are the cheese delights, wings, and deluxe dinner salads. Most of the staff is very nice. We’ve had a few experiences with a few grumpy older ladies that seem to hate their lives, but that doesn’t usually hinder our taste buds.

Decent food and good prices. Bar area has best atmosphere. Have had multiple things here– fish sandwich is huge, onion rings and cheese delights are yummy! Only thing I really didn’t care for is the potato soup. Fountain drink can count as 1 of 2 sides with their combo platters.

I love the people here and the atmosphere. But the food is basically diner style food but not nearly as good as a diner should be. We’ve gone twice. I had the big fish sandwich last time, it was obviously frozen. The middle had the creamy gooey mess you find in cheap fish sticks. Not impressed. My husband had a Philly cheese steak. Not write about worthy but not bad. The previous visit I we had burgers. Which were okay. What makes the place is the staff and atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and open. But I spend money on food I want to be good. So we probably won’t be back, unless we just want a burger at a sit down.

This is a place that I grew up eating at and was always a sure bet for a quality meal. However, recently the food and service have both become sub-par. The chicken dumpling soup is still killer, but that’s the only safe bet anymore. Waitresses seem pretty rude, as well.

Bartender (woman) was horrible! Rude and couldn’t make a simple old fashion. We tried to explain how to make it and she got pissed. Instead she f’ ed up our drinks and still charged us.

We ate there today. Our waitress was pretty rude to us. My mother asked her to take a plate from our table and she deliberately ignored her request. (I could tell because she looked right at her and then walked away.) When you are in the restaurant business, rudeness is one thing that will cause people to storm out the door. While our food was satisfactory, I thought the service was pretty poor. I really wish I spoke to the manager about our waitress. They need to know when their staff is snubbing a customer.
