This place is great and the veggie burger #2 is awesome and perfect for vegans! Someone else said it is dry but I have never had a bad meal. I come to this area once a year for work and this is always one of my stops!

My gf is very picky about beef/chicken and she said it tasted undercooked. I Didn’t mind the taste, liked the fries and would come back for some more.

Ugh! Where to start… When our group of 10 approached the counter we were told that beef burgers would take at least 30 minutes. When we inquired about the delay, another employee behind the counter turned and yelled at us that there were other orders ahead of us. Yet, not many people were ahead of us in line or in the reataurant. 2 of our guests chose to leave and get food elsewhere. When one of the orders was received it was not as ordered. When our guest approached the counter to advise of the error, she was asked in a nasty manner(by the same employee who initially yelled at us) if it was correct on the receipt. None of the other orders were incorrect, but the food did not overwhelm us. Glad we tried a new place but definitely not going back.

Was blown away by the customer service by Tanifa. She was very friendly and outgoing and made me feel real welcomed when I came in for lunch. Seeing someone who is cheerful and attentive at their job really makes my day.

Probably one of the best and legit(yes, I said legit) halal burger joints I have been to. You can get the classic burger, mix it up with the sauteed onions, mushrooms, and BBQ sauce, or customize with any topping/sauce you like. Don’t skip out on the in-house made fries; top it up with toppings to your liking. A must try if you rely on halal meats.

Been waiting for 32 minutes and counting since I ordered. Got 1 burger no customizations. Never again.

The burgers are dry and tasteless. But the fries are okay. I love burgers and fries but this place just doesn’t do it for me. I’ve had the kids burger and the veggie burger #2, both were not good. Plus the service is not good, the people who work there seem like they don’t enjoy working their at all.

Wow… just wow. And, not in a good way. Living and working in the area for years, I’ve been a fan of Elevation Burger since day one. I’ve eaten here more times than I honestly can count. Up till today, I always had great service and a killer burger. But, today all of that changed and I won’t be back. First, the place was filthy. I mean, dirty floors, food smeared on the tables, grease sheen all over, and the soda fountain area was just plain gross. The bugers were below standard. Mine was dry and I could tell the folks cooking just gave up giving a crap. Fries were ok, but overshadowed by the crappy burger and dirty restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go to Five Guys or even McDonald’s. Seriously, it’s that bad. I only have it 2 stars because of the fries. Otherwise, could have gone negative scale.

I have been to other Elevation Burgers. I am sucker for the healthy concept of burgers. However this location seemed a little of putting to what I am use to when visiting a Elevation Burger. My hamburger bun was cold, never a good thing. The service was snippy and just seemed they wanted you to hurry in your choice of ordering. However, if you are looking for a cheap spot, look no further.

The food was delicious. The burgers were so fresh and tasty. One of the best burgers I have ever had! We were a little disappointed to hear that they are no longer serving the organic bacon. I wonder if that’s all locations. Nonetheless we will def be back. The fries were awesome too. Five guys who?

I wanted to love this place. I really did. I love great burger joints that promote fresh, organic product and stand behind it. I did not see this at this location. The mission statements on the walls look like an oxymoron after my experience here. First thing I noticed was the lack of general cleaning. I know burger joints get greasy but overflowing trash? Counters and tables not wiped down put me off. Second was the attitude the lady at the counter had. At the time it was just myself and my family in line but she seemed uninterested in answering basic questions. She even told my father the house«elevation sauce» was a red based sauce(more of a thousand island spread). When I asked for cheese, she did not clarify and automatically charged me for two slices($ 1.20) no big deal, but would have liked some clarification before my final charge. Ordered the Elevation burger w/cheddar, house sauce and caramelized onions, regular fries and a chocolate oreo shake. Cup of water for the fountain. Total $ 15.74 w/tax. That is more than I was expecting, no big deal. I am not going to complain about the price since this is the DC metro area and I am on business. The water button was loose and seemed like it was used more than intended. Waited about 15 minutes for my food to cook. Handed a tray without my shake, from an employee complaining about a light rush coming in. Was told to wait as she re-read the check to confirm and to stand by the ice cream(in the middle of a building line) while she made half of it only to pass it off to another employee who was cutting fries to finish. This was my third strike. I stand while my food is getting cold holding my tray for about 5 minutes. I watch my shake being made by two employees complaining about us, the customers making them work. On a separate note, the ice cream case needs cleaned/organized. I walked upstairs to see a DUSTY air condition vent that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. Burger was average. Better than McDonalds, worse than Five Guys. Not even in the same ballpark as ShakeShack. Nothing to say other than I couldn’t taste the quality or difference they tout. Fries, cold(thanks to my needless extra wait) however seasoned nice. Would have loved to enjoy these extra warm. Best part of my meal. Shake was below average. Ice cream was a bargain brand I noticed while waiting for it to be made. I would not have ordered it had I known this. Dissatisfied and disappointed. Bottom line, don’t get a shake. If you want a «cheapish» meal that is not McDonalds or Subway, eat here. Make sure you get it to go so you miss the dirty tables. Spend $ 5 more for a better lunch elsewhere, I wish I did.

Came here in search of Gluten Free options and got a double burger with mayo, mustard, pickles and caramelized onions. 1st — the restaurant itself can stand to be a little cleaner. There was trash on the floor and dirty tables not to mention a pile of trash sitting right behind the counter in clear view of everyone. I was STARVING so I had to overlook these things. 2nd — the your lady who helped me was quick with taking my order and getting my burger to me. She didn’t ask me how I wanted my burger cooked but I was so hungry I was oblivious. I got my burger to go so I didn’t survey it in the store. Got out to my car and took the first bite and it was like eating cardboard. For this place to boast of its organic materials I was shocked at how gritty and flavorless the burger itself was. I couldn’t even finish the the entire thing which was a shame considering how hungry I was and the $ 6 I spent on it. I just expect better from this place. The highlight of the burger were the pickles. I won’t be coming back.

It was my boyfriend’s turn to find us a place for lunch. Since I wanted to come here for some of the shops and he was craving a burger, this was definitely a good choice to make! We got here and it was kind of busy with people eating and waiting for their orders. We were second in line and it didn’t take long before we placed our orders. We sat down and waited(since they bring your order to you no matter where you’re sitting; upstairs or downstairs) no more than 5 minutes and our food arrived. The burgers definitely looked so plumped and juicy. The fancy fries just had cheese on top but they definitely did look fancy and tastes yummy. We devoured our food like a couple that hasn’t ate for days. It was delicious. I like burgers that are juicy, cheese still hot and melting, and bread bun not dried out. This definitely hit the spot for us! It reminded me of in-n-out burger but«east coast» style. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.

My 2nd time eating at this chain, but first time at this location. I have to say I was severely disappointed. There aren’t a lot of practical places to eat at the harbor but I thought this might be the most normal food place. It was like a restaurant being run by a bunch of high school students. No professionalism, all the workers talking to one another forgetting about the customers. The station with utensils was extremely dirty to the point where there was black dust & dirt all over the forks. The food was pretty forgettable & I definitely don’t see myself eating here again regardless of location. The burger was okay a bit overdone/dry but it was ok. The fries were disgusting, I’m sorry to say. The«Fancy Fries»(aka cheese fries) were literally fries with 2 slices of the same cheese on my burger that they put in the microwave. Literally NOPERSON who likes cheese fries likes them that way. I paid almost $ 5 for those disgusting fries. They should take those off the menu like they did bacon. Which leads to my last complaint, this restaurant no longer serves bacon & the employees have no idea why. What kind of restaurant–«ORGANIC» or not doesn’t serve bacon? Honestly healthy burgers is an oxymoron so the decision not to serve bacon is pointless to me. If you want to buy an expensive natural burger & fries that will satisfy you, I suggest Burgerfi, they are much better. If you just want a good burger & fries, I suggest Shake Shack. Both places serve burgers(WITHBACON) &REAL cheese fries w/cheese sauce. I see now why so many Elevation Burgers are closing, it’s not worth the money.

Just finished eating here. 25 minutes for 3 burgers and 1 order of fries. Not impressed. And our orders were wrong. We didn’t get any of our sides. Very disappointed.

Came here over lunch. The place was packed but service was prompt. If you order a side salad, make sure to grab it out of the cooler by the register yourself. Though the service was fast, the clerk weren’t particularly friendly or helpful. I ordered a side salad and small burger. The salad was fine but the burger was really dry. I like that they have a wide selection of condiments and toppings, most of which are free(similar to give guys). Their burgers are easily customizable with the addition of extra patties and pretty much anything else you could want. I also like that they have high quality organic meats. If I come here again, I’ll try their chicken sandwich and maybe the fries or milkshake. The burgers just aren’t that great.

The only reason I had to come here was because I heard it was halal meat(muslim friendly). I heard great things about this place but did not really know why until I tried it for myself! I had the Half Veggie burger and it was amazing!!! You can pick what toppings and sauces you would like on your burger! I went their with two other of my coworkers. Only thing I will comment on(not a big deal) but the cashier got every single one of our names wrong when we placed the order which was a bit odd. I told her my name was Rummy and she wrote Robin, Jesse was Tracy, and Tatiana was Samantha… didn’t really understand how that happened but the taste of the burgers surely made up for it!

I finally got to try Elevation Burger while attending Katsucon at the Gaylord hotel. First, the walk from the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is a decent distance, as Elevation Burger is at the far end of National Harbor. Place was swamped due to the convention so I cannot fault them for lack of speed when serving. Elevation Burger is not large, but has two floors of seating. Menu is relativity simple and straightforward. I found it interesting that this location has no Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, only a regular soda fountain. Food is served in metal trays with a different quality and taste then I expected. It tasted like SCHOOLFOOD??? The fries were shoestring style and a little overdone. Did I leave full? Yes. But overall for the price I found the food a little underwhelming. I’d rather make a nice visit to Five Guys.

Just finished eating here and overall, my experience was so-so. Pros: *If you’re into organic, everything here is. They use natural, grass-fed beef that tastes pretty darned good. *Numerous topping options so you can customize till your heart’s content. *The mushrooms were delicious. Whatever they sautéed them in was tasty. *You can see them cooking everything in front of you, which for my germaphobic self is a big plus. I like knowing that no one is secretly sneezing on my burger behind the scenes! Lol! *Decent pricing. About what you would expect from a typical burger joint. *There is upstairs seating and the workers will come all the way upstairs to bring it to you which is awesome. Cons: *Slow-ish service. Granted, we came during peak visitation days for the harbor(around Christmas,) and it was PACKED. So, I could cut them some slack here. *The fries were on the cold side and didn’t taste fresh. *They gave me the smallest, crappiest piece of lettuce on my burger. I may has well not even have ordered any. AND they were out of tomatoes. *The seating felt really tight. The tables aren’t laid out well and feel like everyone is crammed into corners. Not a good time. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional and I’m not exactly dying to comeback. 3⁄5 stars.

No complaints. VEGGIEBURGER #1 was amazing. I had it twice in 2 days. Cheese, tomato, pickle, mayo and pepper relish were the perfect accompaniments. The veggie patty was perfectly crispy, must’ve been seared on a flat top. I didn’t try the fries, but the COFFEEMILKSHAKE was one of the best I’ve ever had. Super thick and creamy, made with real scoops of coffee ice cream, and very flavorful. At 700+ calories, I stopped myself from eating it all, but it would’ve been worth it. I went both times during off hours, but I had great service. The first cashier was not friendly, but she got the order right so I didn’t need her to be. I hand out 5 stars sparingly, but this was great vegetarian friendly fast food.
