I am the owner of a small family owned cabinet refacing company and we network with several counter top companies. We dealt with Valencia Stone and Tile on one occasion and the process left me baffled and dismayed about ever dealing with this company again. When they were getting ready to install the counter top they had provided only two workers to install the fabricated granite counter top. I immediately called their office to inform them that they needed to provide additional help to install the top as it was a large piece and weighed more than just two installers can handle. Well, they didn’t listen to my suggestion and the top broke as the installers were trying to install it. They mended the crack and tried to install it again with only two installers. This time they bumped the peninsula and gouged the side of the pantry cabinet with the top and damaged the newly refaced cabinets in several locations. «We took care of the damaged areas to the cabinets.» Then the installers had a difficult time installing the sink and getting it centered correctly. When I called and spoke with the owner he yelled at me and said that«I was too picky and that their company would never do business with us again».

Never have I been compelled to write a review on a business, let alone a local business. Not worth my time to state specifics, however, take this as a warning that if you are considering Valencia Tile & Stone as your granite supply source, make sure the job is substantial enough for Jesus to deliver. When ordering our granite for 2 bathroom vanities from him 6 weeks ago, he was very helpful. Downhill from there… to the point where last week he told me he didn’t need my business, he had plenty of jobs and for 2 little vanities, he wasn’t going to put up with my mention of beginning to lose patience, this after he failed to show up 2 days in a row… lucky Jesus, apparently the economy hasn’t affected him. I am amazed that someone in today’s world believes this is acceptable customer service… and sadly, he’s the owner.
