Please save your time and money and spare your self of a rude braider. Senegalese twist($ 180) were rushed and lasted less than two weeks. I contacted the owner with photos and only response was an apology. Through this I discovered pre-braided Senegalese twist hair that you can buy at your local beauty supply and crochet in. All you have to do is cornrow you hair. Will save you a whole bunch of money and time. Installed in 2 ½ hours and they came out beautiful. Check out this video…

I was supposed to be getting kinky twist for 170, but when I got there I was told 200 because of my hair length. The braider was clueless until another showed her how to do them and took over the process of twisting the hair. In the end they were 5 different sizes, shorter than what I wanted. A few days later my entire forehead and scalp broke out in puss bumps from the hair.

replying to my review with a lie is another reason not to ever go to this salon.

I chose this place primarily due to having the best website and that I was looking for a different braid shop(other than the one I previously frequented). I scheduled my appointment on Saturday, I was texted by Sandy the morning of the appointment, because the person that was supposed to do my hair called out due to family emergency and promised a 10% discount if I would come the following day, there was no way I could, due to having Duty(active duty military) on that day. I didn’t see the text and arrived there a few minutes after they opened, she told me she texted me and I told her I didn’t see it. She told me that the other lady there would braid my hair for me. The staff was very friendly, I was entertained(they have Netflix), it was a nice shop and everything went okay, until I got home and looked at the back of my head. My hair is natural and I had huge braids in the back with a small amount of human yaki hair. She braided two micro braids inward that were small and then I had a bunch on little cornrows. I couldn’t even put my hair up in a pony tail because the thick mini corn rows would bend and protrude. The majority of my braids began to unravel. the braids are different lengths and some of the braids at the beginning(close to scalp) have a double bump(weird). I knew something was up because my hair was super light. the front half is micro and the back has corn rows starting from the crown of my head. I wanted to get braids due to my hectic schedule and intense workout regimen. I didn’t wash it after my work out, I rinsed it and O-M-G, braids were coming out and now my natural hair protrudes from the braid. I spend every day re-doing braids. When I was almost done the lady braiding my hair, said that the last pack of hair that I had was better(human, synthetic blend apposed to the 100% human) «not so slippery», had I known she was having trouble with the 100% human hair, the switch could have been made early, to hopefully produce better results. I truly like this place and the people, but I don’t like the job that they did on my hair. These are the worst braids that I have ever had and If I were rich I would have removed them the next day and went back to the braid shop that I have been going to. I will post pics later, as I am sending this review from a computer and not my cell. Great people and environment, but poor service.

I asked for box braids, however these aren’t box braids. Not to my knowledge, and I’ve had them done a few times. I’m unsure if it’s the hair they use, or how they braid but my braids looked good for about a week, and I take care of my braids whenever I get them in; I can normally keep them for like 2, almost 3 months. I got them done on Memorial Day. I called and asked if she was open that day and she told me she would take me at 10. The website says I could have paid with my card, however Sandy told me she only accepts cash. So apt at 10, started at 11. After the 2nd week, I needed to take the braids out, which was a complete waste of my money and time. They look terrible. I will not be returning, or recommending this place.

She has no clue how to do a sew in… The braid base didn’t last a week… Will never go back

I scheduled an appointment to get my hair done in individual braids. The person who did my hair was late but they both worked on my hair. It took all day for two women to braid my hair. The braids where nice but so thin and fit for a child not an adult. With two packs of hair my head should’ve been full. I brought to packs of quality human hair which I normally only use a pack and a half… nope they told me I had only a little bit left. My braids came out in the back the next day. The worse!

I really love my Senegalese twists and Sandy is so sweet! I walked into the shop before making an appointment, because I noticed the address was near my job. When I got there, Sandy and her team were working on one person. She immediately stopped to come talk to me and see what I needed. We talked for a few minutes and I was able to schedule an appointment right away. I was very happy with how my hair turned out. It took less time to do than I thought(5 hrs), it was comfortable and the women who work there are very pleasant and attentive. Several times they will help each other out and you could have 2 – 3 people doing your hair at the same time. And what I love the most, is that my twists are tight, but I felt NOPAIN! They didn’t pull my hair too hard and I didn’t have a headache! I’m not tender-headed at all but even the toughest scalps get hurt when your hair gets braided. I can appreciate soft hands that still manage to do great work! I felt like I could fall asleep in the chair. Since my first appointment, I went back for a touch up of my twists. I had forgotten to call a few days earlier to schedule an appointment. I called her early Saturday and asked if I could come that afternoon and right away she said«Sure, you can come!» I felt bad because it was very last minute and I would have completely understood of she said no, but that wasn’t the case. I would recommend her to anyone, and as a matter of fact I already have!

Made an appointment a week ago for box braids. She calls me an hour prior to my appointment & said that she can’t do it because box braids take too long and her assistant isn’t coming in today. Not professional at all! I won’t even consider this place again!
