Best tostilocos I’ve had in a while apart from the amazing ones you find in tj and Greatest tasting banana and strawberry smoothie I’ve ever had! So close to my house and awesome selection never going any where else! This became my number one snack place!

Really good. Downside clamatos have way to much water. At first when they open the location it was 100% clamato juice. Now it looks like red water and has no taste. Everything else is still good.

I first heard of this place cause my girlfriend always went there. At first I was skeptical but I gave it a try anyways. There are only a few things I get here and it’s not because it’s bad or anything. I just stick to my preferences. I usually get the«Americana» fruit salad which is basically sliced bananas, strawberries, mangos, apples, cantaloupe, raisins, cottage cheese, and granola. They also make fruit smoothies that are pretty good. If I don’t get strawberry/banana, I get mango/pineapple. Last but not least, the tortas are so good. I usually get the beef one and it’s just amazing haha so the next time you wanna try something a little more healthy, definitely come to this place.

I have been going to this place for a while now I would always get the fresas con crema and those were always okay. But today when I got there I noticed a sign that said that they now have tostielotes which I thought sounded good and so I ordered one and a cacahuataso to go. They we’re pretty fast to give me order. I was happy about that but then when I saw the cacahuataso it was so dry barely any chamoy in them even though when I was ordering I made sure to ask them to add extra chamoy! When I asked the lady if she could put more she said yes. When she came back it still looked like she had only put a drop of chamoy in the cup. So I asked her again if she could put more so she did. I thanked her and left. I didn’t even think about checking the tostielotes. But when I got home I wish I would of. The corn looked and tasted like it was from a can, there wasn’t really that much cheese or any of the ingredients it usually comes with. But to my surprise it had two ingredients that I never knew tostielotes had. That was jicama and cucumber diced up on the bottom of the tostitos. My guess was that they messed up and thought they were making tostilocos and then realized it wasnt that but instead of starting over they just decided to leave it. I don’t know if they thought I wouldn’t noticed or that I would think that was part of them. Not to mention I paid $ 6+ dollars for it. So not worth it! Definitely last time we ever go there again!

First time here and I loved it. I am a huge escamocha fan and this is the second frutería I really enjoy buying them from. My brother got the fresas con crema and it was delicious too. Definitely have to come back and try other items on their menu.

It was hard to find this place at first. Only Entrance is on Highland driving south. It’s located in a a tiny strip mall. The whole place literally sits 8 people. I came after school rush hour but during hot days and when schools are out, be prepared. There will be a line. You can always call ahead and order to go. My favorite stuff to order is of course chamango and tostilocos. If you love frueterias and being low key, this is the spot!

This is one of the two places in the area that my husband loves getting fruitilocos from. Serving sizes are huge and service is always friendly.

I stopped by a couple minutes ago since I was nearby. I bought some frituras(chicharron de harina) with some cueritos. They added chamoy, chile and limón. I’ve had these numerous times from other places and paleteros. These ones were STALE even though it had chamoy I could taste the«old». I should have known when I grabbed the bag because it had that«old» plastic Baggie feel. I can’t imagine the towers of stale frituras they have in that place. I am pretty sad. Instead of calling I decided to leave a review because I don’t think they will get rid of the old frituras. The girl who helped me was nice though.

Fresh fruit and amazing strawberries with cream! Their Tostilocos are the best! I appreciate that they are open so early and close late.

First thin I noticed was how clean and organized the space was. They had about 3 or 4 tables with 2 seats each. They have everything! Raspados. Ensaladas De frutas. Aguas frescas. Ensaladas regular. Tortas. Tostilocos or Chamangos! Will definitely return next time I’m in SD! ONLY downside is the parking lot is terrible! Very limited parking. As long as you can maneuver your vehicle you should be fine, but if you are ok with crossing the street, even better.

This place is actually pretty good. I love their ham tortas. And the watermelon agua de frescas. The people here are really friendly too. I like their fruit salads too, except this one time I got a fruit salad and the pieces of melon kinda had a oniony taste. Like maybe they used the same cutting board to cut it… no bueno. The reason they dont get 5 stars is because some items seem kinda overpriced.

I had never been to a Fruteria before as there aren’t any(that I know of) in the North County coastal area. About two years ago, my wife introduced me to this place and I have been a customer ever since. There aren’t a lot of parking spaces in this shopping center and on hot days or during lunch time, you may have to park on the street and/or wait a while in line(not a big deal). They serve items like churritos with Valentina(yum!), tostilocos, frutilocos, raspados, smoothies, agua frescas, salads, and tortas. The customer service is great and they have your items ready within a short amount of time. In the two years that I have been coming here, I have tried many different items and have not been disappointed yet. Check them out the next time that you are in National City!
