The bakery counter attendant on duty right now 06÷21÷15 1:30pm is rude and ignores customers. She saw us waiting patiently behind a man and then purposely began taking the order of another person who had barely walked up.

We used to be here all the time way back when. It has everything you need. Tortillas are good, so is the masa. I never buy from the meat counter or any of the packaged meats. Years and years ago we bought the meat and it had that old smell to it, so we just don’t anymore.

Mom usually shops here for the cheap ice cream, aside from that this grocery store is very small. It tends to be very busy inside with usually only 1 or 2 cash registers open, thus the long wait. They do have a good selection of mexican cakes.

You’re typical Mexican market: bakery, deli (where you can order food to go too), butcher, produce, check cashing… need I go on? I came Christmas day to pick up some beer for a white elephant gift and I must say that I loved the pre-​packaged ponche makings, pre-​peeled sugar cane, and packages of mini conches. And even though it’s a pretty big store, it still felt like the little store down the street from my parents house.

Get the combo meal deal!
We usually get a to-​go meal with the roasted whole chicken, which also comes with Mexican rice, beans, and fresh warm corn tortillas. We usually get regular beans to go with the meal, but recently we tried their «pork and beans» which is their refried beans but has some carnitas mixed in! Delicious. They also have the option to get carnitas instead of chicken.
Not bad for $ 9.99
My dad usually goes here for their produce, but since he discovered the chicken meal, we’ve been going back for that mostly.
The bakery area is very tempting as well!

Awesome in-​store eatery.
The market itself is a little small. And it’s kinda dingy, but the bakery and eatery are filled with delicious selections. I’ve eaten here at least 10 times. I’m partial to the place because it’s a two minute walk from my best friend’s house. So after monumental drinking and smoking parties, we’ll all head here for great food at a great bargain. You can even get «costco» on it and buy in large quantity to cater.
