I’m writing this review because a sometimes a store can be completely judged by the sales people. I have certainly been to stores where I’ve had negative experiences with the sales people and have left swearing to never return. I went to Talbot’s with my mom for mother’s day so she could buy something nice. We were greeted by a Roya was could not have been more helpful to my mom. She helped finding sizes and was so patient during what usually is a stressful time for my mom in trying on clothes. I was truly impressed by this fantastic sales associate. I would otherwise have no reason to review a woman’s clothing store but that I was touched by how helpful Roya was in assisting my mother. She left having found some nice outfits and felt really great about the experience she had. I’m glad we did not have the same experience as the previous reviewer.

I’m rating this one star because the system doesn’t allow no stars. I have never been treated so rudely by sales clerks. I was waiting in line to pay for an item I had selected by myself(no sales people spoke to me in the 15 minutes I was wandering around the store). There was one person ahead of me being rung up by a sales clerk. Another sales clerk brought her customer to the counter and started to ring up her purchases. I waited. Sales clerk #1 then left the counter with her customer to help her order something, and I was left standing at an empty cash register. By this time, I had been standing at the counter for about 5 minutes, and neither saleswoman had made eye contact or said anything to me. It was as though I was invisible. I put the blouse I had selected down at the empty cash register and walked out. I don’t see why I should pay to be treated like that.
