Unilocal makes me give a star before it will post. If I could give a negative 1 on stars I would. I’m in Ca. My credit card was compromised and used to buy boots in this store by 2 young men. They were caught on surveillance not only using my card but had a pile of credit cards with them, trying them all until one went through. The cashier should have had a clue… but didn’t. When talking with security, we were told they DO NOT train their staff to make decisions in this type of circumstance. Meanwhile, my bank isn’t covering this and NEITHER WILL LORD AND TAYLOR. They don’t feel responsible. You think, they might train their sales people. So thanks for the boots Lord and Taylor! I have a retail shop. I would never allow this situation to have happened. If by some chance I did, I would take full responsibility.

searching fro a prom dress and just had a great phone conversation with Diane in Dresses. She was extremely helpful and took the time to search the floor stock for a particular dress. Not every sales person would take a phone call as a serious inquiry so I appreciate her taking the time to help us out.

I went for a 50% off sale they were having on July 31st, 2013. There was a Kate Spade bag originally 398 but was 50% off and then if you open up a store card, they would take another 30% off. Needless to say, you can get very good deals here. Also, Michael Kors colored denim was 40% off. I did have a hard time finding a cashier but the deals were worth it.

I have had it with lord and Taylor in Natick! I have now had 3 separate experiences with really rude salespeople. What is the deal? They should have their sales staff train at Nordstrom!
The women’s clothes selection is okay, and you can do well during a sale. But the service is so bad it’s almost a joke. Why cant the sales people be helpful? Why cant they remember that they are suppose to help the paying customers whose cash keeps them employed? I HATE this store.

Shopping in Lord and Taylor is a lovely experience. The merchandise is displayed so neatly with no crowding. The sales associates are helpful when needed, There are also coupons with 15−20% off regulary in the newspaper or on the web site. The shoe department is great with good prices. The clothing selection seems to be well selected for the conservative working and mature women. I appreciate that!

I haven’t been in Lord and Taylor for years. I can only speak for the Mens department, but I experienced very good service with extremely competitive prices. I shopped the after Christmas Sale and I got Ralph Lauren Dress Shirts for $ 20 each, approximately 25% of it’s original cost. Unbelievable. Easy going sales people. No pressure. I will be back!

I am totally the opposite of department stores and I have always disliked Lord & Taylor. L&Ts were always so frumpy in Michigan. Truth be told, in another life time, I had moonlighted in Hudson’s (aka Marshall Field’s, aka Macy’s), so I also had no reason to wander into another department store.
I completely changed my mind recently. I went into L&T looking for the perfect bag that would also hold my laptop. The salesperson was friendly and nice BUT not at all pushy. The deals though, were phenomenal! I got the Kate Spade messenger bag I have wanted since like forever for like half off! I love those 20% off coupons and extra 40% off clearance sales.
The last time I was there, I got 4 matching bra and underwear sets (in my size! though the folks at Intimacy would disagree about the size) for less than $ 70 total! The salesperson was so great and again, not pushy!

I love you, Lord and Taylor. I’m like a moth to a flame with you — you draw me in and burn a hole through my pocketbook. Bless you for your sale racks, with clothing marked down an additional 40% off the already low sale prices. Thank you for the individual stalls in the restrooms — you make potty time THAT much more special. Also, thanks for the comfy sitting area in the ladies room — breastfeeding is so much easier in there instead of on a hard-​assed bench in a hallway, in front of a security camera (take note, JC Penney). Also, you rock for being connected to the covered parking area — no rain on me! Whee!
