Called to speak to a sales person about an exclusive Rolex watch which was very rare and this guy basically sounded like a used car salesman. Told me those were for preferred customers and if by chance I was to come in and buy maybe a necklace and a pair of earrings for my wife he would get me the watch. He went on to tell me thats the way things are done with those types of exclusive items unless I wanted to be added to a waiting list which«never gets called». What a sleazy, underhanded way to do business. To boot, I sent a friend of mine over to their Burlington store to get his Rolex serviced and they treated him like garbage and their rude attitude drove him out of the store. Let me tell you, I wouldn’t step foot inside one of their stores now since the sales people all sound the same!

My future fiancé took me into Longs yesterday morning to find an engaging ring and get an idea of my style. I had always loved halo style rings but after our experience they were no longer for me. We had a great experience with Paul Weber. He was knowledgable, patient and made our experience delightful. He knew his stuff and we learned a lot as well about all the other factors in a diamond that make it beautiful besides just the carat size. After trying on a halo, I told Paul that I was also considering a thin band with diamonds down the side and one center stone. So Paul said he had something beautiful to show me and he did! At first I tried this setting with a round ¾ carat stone and really liked it. I then asked about a princess cut and he told me the difference between round and princess. After hearing what he had to say I was skeptical about the princess cut and told him not to bother. Luckily, being the experienced jeweler he is, told me I had to try a princess cut now. I am SOOOO happy he did. I feel in love. It was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen, it brought tears to my eyes. If you go to Longs, ask for Paul. It was the best experience I have had looking for rings. I mean what kind of jeweler is going to take the diamond outside for you to see in the sun?

My husband and I decided to look at the diamond stud earrings this past weekend. A very helpful and knowledgeable salesperson, Isabel, assisted us. She was lovely and knew a lot about diamonds and their quality. We bought a pair of 1.5ct diamond earring studs and I LOVETHEM! The quality and price is exactly what we were looking for. Rude unhelpful people on the sales floor. I came into the Long’s Jewelers store two months ago looking for an engagement ring. I was greeted by Paul, who upon hearing why I’m there proceeded to give me a 2 minute spiel full of penny advises and sales BS — all that before I could open my mouth. He was very pushy and tried to pressure me very hard about my budget. When I wouldn’t give him a number he responded as if I were from another planet. He did not seem to listen to what I had to say too much and seemed to be annoyed at the fact that I wasn’t going to make a purchase on the spot. His tone was getting more and more condescending and impatient as I kept asking to see more options. He also wasn’t very helpful in his suggestions and finally just went to talk to someone else. I’ve encountered similar treatment before — at used car dealerships. The whole time I was in the store I was uncomfortable and felt on the defensive; and I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I certainly won’t be coming here again. P. S. Two stars instead of one because I only dealt with one person at the establishment. Maybe their other sales people are better but I doubt that somehow. P. P. S. I wrote this review on the day I went to the store but it was sitting in my drafts for two months because I wanted to keep the proposal a secret.

I just wanted to update my review of Long’s in Natick, as well as Paul Weber(the best jeweler alive, as far as I’m concerned). Our experience has only improved since my fiancé purchased my engagement ring. Paul has followed up with absolutely everything from«would you like to have your ring cleaned?» to «Let me make an appointment for you to get your ring sized.» Truly, whereas most«sales people» make the sale and never contact you again, Paul as a true jeweler is now our jeweler for life and someone with whom we have a relationship. We could not be more pleased and would recommend him and this business as highly(more, even) as any other person we have worked within the service industry. Again, I just have to say what an unbelievable person Paul is… Believe me, you’ll fall in love with him as an individual immediately. Great sense of humor, down-to-earth, a true pleasure all around. Go see him today!

GOSEEPAUL!!! All I have to say is that this guy is amazing. Paul helped me through the entire process of getting an engagement ring, from choosing the ring, to financing it and all. And then when my better half needed to take it back to get the stone exchanged he was there to help again and made sure she was nothing short of ecstatic. Made my life a helluva lot easier. Since then we have bought wedding bands for both myself and her, of course through Paul, and again flawless experience. Once I have so money again I will be sure to go back to Long’s and to see Paul to get some new jewelry for my wife.

Thumb up to Paul at Long’s…Paul was extremely helpful and completely honest when assisting me and and my spouse finding the ideal engagement ring. When I walked into Long’s Jewelers, I was nervous about being pushed into something I couldn’t afford, like I had at other jewelry stores. But I was immediately greeted by Paul, an employee there with an insane amount of knowledge about jewelry/diamonds who also had a fantastic ear for listening and understanding of who I’m proposing to and what she would like. My soon-to-be fiancé, won’t as much care about how many diamonds are on the ring but instead care that we are taking our relationship to the next level. I just needed a ring, but Paul gave me an experience that I won’t soon forget. If you are shopping for that someone and aren’t sure where to start, ask for Paul. You won’t regret it.

My wife and I bought our wedding rings at Long’s recently and later my wife bought me a new watch there. The service was impeccable and the price was excellent. I only rate the store as «pricey» because they have high end jewelry/watches. The best part however, was the customer appreciation dinner at Blue Ginger for Bretiling buyers. I really enjoyed it and have never been treated so well by a store.
