I can’t praise this business enough. I was visiting from New Orleans. I ended up purchasing an eight string Electric Ukulele. The sales rep«Cory» was fantastic. He was everything you would expect from a sales representative. I have been to a few music stores in the New Orleans area and nothing compares with the great customer service I received from this place. The manager«Larry» was really friendly and so very helpful. I hated to have to leave!

Been here a few times buying things for my husband. They know what they are talking about and have helped me in my purchases. However, my husband took a guitar here to get a free estimate on fixing it. They never called with an estimate but only called to tell us it was fixed. We never approved them fixing it as we hadn’t decided this is where it should get fixed. We had to pay to get the guitar back. The work seems fine but this is not how businesses should run. Very frustrating.

Just had a recent visit into World Music and have nothing but high praise for the staff. I have an acoustic guitar, not purchased from them, that needed a little setup work and not only took care of it while I waited but the staff person shared good knowledge on general maintenance and upkeep of my new instrument. Price was more than fair. Very obliging, offered to let me play anything in their extensive inventory. Great, helpful people! This is a great business in a city with an abundance of music stores, these folks really stand out, My next guitar will certainly come from WMN.

Would it be ridiculous to call this the«best music shop in Nashville»?? If you are the average player, I think it may be. If you are planning on spending tens of thousands on pre-CBS Fenders previously owned by James Burton then yeah, go to one of the famous Nashville shops. Otherwise, these guys are the deal. I come here on business from California and pop into the different shops when I have time, so I have been in most if not all. A guy named Brandon helped me and the dude was knowledgeable, patient and super helpful sharing his knowledge with no pretension or arrogance. He let me try a few guitars and amps and I learned a bunch from him. He spent maybe 35 minutes with me and closing time came and went during this time without him saying a word about it. Also, nobody in here pulled the«…yeah I should be a(touring/session) musician but the(record company/Industry) screwed me and now I am stuck selling guitars to you, and blah, blah, blah…» which you sometimes get in Nashville. Their selection is fantastic and it’s really laid out in a way that encourages you to play instruments through their amps. Great shop.

Cool selection of some local accessories like handmade picks. Very clean, we’ll organized shop, with venue space for 150ppl! Next time I’m in town I’ll def stop by again.
