West End United Methodist Church

What a wonderful group of people! I love quite a few things about this place…
The History. The church is one of the oldest in Nashville and with that comes a lot of respect for tradition and wisdom in the area of how to run a church. It’s so easy for church politics to get in the way but WEUMC has been around a long time and that says a lot.
The Building. I know church isn’t about the building but this one is truly beautiful. It inspires you. Beautiful art and natural things in the world point towards the unsurpassed beauty of God’s goodness and love — they remind us of it in a tangible way.
The Music. Brilliant choir and brilliant organ. It doesn’t get better than this folks!
The People. WEUMC has a great blend of old and young and middle and kids and young families and college and high school etc etc… And they all work together and love each other through various programs where one age group is working with or helping another group. Folks dress up for service here — suits and dresses — but if you came in with jeans and a tshirt, you’d be welcomed like anyone else. I’ve never met a judgmental person here. All are welcomed with open arms.
My family are members here and we love it. Hope you’ll join us sometime!
