I had this coffee while visiting Nashville. It was delicious, fun, and the staff is very nice.

After waking by this establishment recently we knew we wanted to stop in for some coffee — the façade of the building just invited you to come inside and hang out for a bit! This morning we grabbed a couple cups of coffee and a pastry and just chilled. Coffee was robust and tasty, croissant buttery and delicious, soundtrack intriguing and just peppy enough! Stop in when your in the area — you won’t be disappointed, unless of course you’re a [_]

While visiting Nashville with my wife, we stopped in here early on a Saturday morning while walking to see some sights. I ordered a large dark roast«coffee of the day» and was very impressed. I’m glad we skipped the Starbucks in our hotel and got a great cup of joe elsewhere. My wife ordered a dirty chai and called it one of the best chais she’s had in a while. If you pass by Tin Cup, stop in! Outstanding.

Such a cute space! From what I understand, this is a coffee shop/marketing office hybrid. The shop is adorable, a little dark, with a great window up front to sit and read. Stopped in for coffee and discovered the special of the day– the Nutella Mocha. It was super hot so I went with it iced, and it was creamy smooth deliciousness. I would’ve liked a breakfast sandwich but it looked like they only had some pastries, so I took my coffee to go. The barista was friendly and also offered water, since I had come in after running. There are quite a few spots downtown to get coffee, and Tin Cup is definitely one you need to check out!

Like trying new places so decided to give it a go this morning. Great atmosphere, friendly barista, reasonable prices(as coffee houses go), really wanted to like this place. Don’t know if barista was having an off day. Ordered Mocha, rec’d cup of foamy milk with no trace of coffee or mocha flavor. Dumped it in the trash and went to a coffee house I knew would be good.

The space is increadible, great atmosphere and couches. Very roomy, music at a really good volume, but then there is the service… Waited for 15 minutes for the brista to make the guy in front of us’s drink. Then he took our order, 5 or 6 minutes later we got our terrible tasting coffee. TRAINYOURBARISTASPLEASE.

I’m a little hesitant to write this review. Great space to get some work done. It’s quiet and there’s plenty of seating; they have a couch, some high top tables and regular tables. There’s a small parking lot(with reserved spots — for the Horton building) across the street. It’s kinda hard to find. I’ll have to take a picture for you guys — it’ll be worth more than a thousand words. The barista(if you can call her that) was friendly but new so she didn’t know what the wifi password was but didn’t attempt to find out. She told us that we should ask one of the people sitting in the space and they should know. I’m not sure why my connection to the wifi kept dropping but it’s pretty frustrating. wifi name: purple elephant pw: hammerhead The coffee is just okay. They use Hershey chocolate syrup in their mochas so this is probably how they can afford to keep their prices so low. 12oz -$ 3.25 160z -$ 3.75 20oz — $ 4.25 I’m not sure how much their regular brew is but I think it’s about $ 2.25 or something.

There was no one at the counter, waited about 5 minutes before anyone served me(even waived at people in the back office) and the coffee is TERRIBLE. I almost went back in to give my full cup back, but the whiny, emo, «new country» music playing over the loudspeakers was playing and I. JUST. COULDN’T. At least I didn’t pay to park.

The baristas are so friendly. Great spot to get coffee if you need to catch up on some work. The mocha is great too.

This spot is right at my bus stop and makes the whole trip worth while. I leave 30 minutes early so I can have a tea and read a book before work begins. Tin Cup has all of the coffee store essentials, good tunes, and no commotion. It’s a great place to read a book. Needs bike parking! If you sit in the window seats you can keep an eye on what time it is using the union station clock tower. Also a great spot to watch punk teens shred the wave between 8th and 9th on their sk8boards.

What an amazing place! While visiting Nashville, we ventured out looking for good coffee. This place showed up as the closest so off we went. The outside is very low key, and it’s actually called The Tin Cup, so we were not sure we had the right place. But once we opened the door, a lovely waft of roasted coffee beans filled the air. We got to meet the sweet Irish carpenter responsible for the beautiful new wood floors and these amazing hand crafted guitar tables. He gave us a tour and his vision for the future of this space, which will be a coffee house by day(roasted in house!) and a bar by night(with a stage, of course). Highly, highly recommend this place. My only complaint is they aren’t open on Saturdays and today is Saturday…

Fresh cup of coffee in a quaint environment. Nice change of pace from the bustling chain coffee shops. Limited menu but I’m not one for fancy drinks.

Eh… eh… meh… I went to this place about four times, and I just can’t get excited. I went before they got a fridge, after they got a fridge. I tried hot coffees, cold coffees, and nothing sparkled. Nothing was special. It was all so dull. On top of that, the people behind the counter are the clueless college kids who were taught to pull shots, mix drinks, and pretty much nothing else. Because they no nothing about coffee itself, they can’t really answer my questions about the coffee itself. Downtown Nashville is kind of a dearth of really good coffee places, which is a shame. I had hoped Rockhouse would fill the void in the downtown area, but it’s lacking. Still waiting for something really good downtown.

For quality coffee, especially the Americanos(hot or iced) this little joint is fantastic. It’s located inside the building of a marketing from, and the coffee bar are isn’t real big, but the service is always good and the baristas do their work well.

Since I’ve started working downtown I’ve driven past this little place several times but was kind of confused about what was going on. I see a sign that says COFFEE but above it I also see a sign that says Horton Somethingoranother and I see an elephant and immediately start thing about Horton Hears a Who and then my mind is totally somewhere else. I guess you could say I’m easily distracted. Well, today I was desperately needing an iced chai latte but didn’t have time nor the desire to head to Starbucks or Panera so I decided to figure out what was going on with this little coffee place. Apparently, like another Unilocaler said, Rock House is the name of the little coffee bar located inside of this Horton web design place. On the inside it looked like a cool little place to set up shop for a while or to have a little casual business meeting. The coffee bar itself is pretty small but the barista was very friendly. I ordered my chai latte and it appeared that she was actually muddling spices in my cup. Maybe I’m just crazy(and I’m definitely no coffee expert) but I have never seen anyone else do that. Everyone else uses a syrup. The latte was very good and much cheaper than your regular big chains. I foresee myself visiting this place regularly now since its so close to my work and I finally know what the place is. ;)

Cool little coffee shop sort of inside the office of a local web/tech company… this place is solid though. I was walking down 8th ave headed to Starbucks when I spotted the big coffee signs and headed in for some investigating. They roast their beans on site and the coffee is fantastic. I went in in for a latte at lunch today and Bethany(their barista) was telling me they’re about to start offering wraps, so I’m pumped for that. Just wish they were open on the weekends. They say they will be soon enough, so that’ll be a nice addition to my Sunday morning.

Love this spot. The space is beautiful and the coffee is great. My drink of choice is an Americano with a little vanilla. Super friendly staff. One block off of Broadway, so it’s just a little tucked away, but still accessible. Definitely recommend. Parking lot is kind of small, but there are reserved spots you can park in. Oh, and they need pastries, but have some great snacks.
