Nice spot in a great location off Broadway. Nice atmosphere with open garage style area as well as intimate indoor setting, and outdoor porch. Food was pretty good. Not spectacular or innovative but good. Ordered the row burger with fried chicken. Was heavy but good. Light on the fries. Service was friendly if a little slow on finishing out/picking up our bill. But overall good experience. Tip, if you check in the fried pickle is for the next visit. A good excuse to return.

Get the Nashville Hot — fried chicken, thingeee. It. Is. So. Good. They have a choice of mild, hot, or extreme. I found the hot to be quite hot and I prefer hot and spicy. The hot flavor grows with each bite. My lips are still tingling, a little. I had it with the green beans which were a perfect match, still firm, not mushy.

This place was a surprise to us. We called around on the 2nd night of NashSnowmageddon2016 to see who would be open, and The Row made the list. It was a couple blocks past Broadway Brewhouse, which is where we hit up the night before. Upon walking in to The Row, we saw a decent amount of people waiting in the lobby, which is never a good sign. We opted for the bar room for drinks while enduring our 30min wait, which is where the plan TOTALLY changed… there were 1c1s(1st come 1st serve) hi-tops with newly-opened seats right next to the stage! We had the best sweet potato skins I’ve ever had, took a beer off the hands of our table neighbor b/c she didn’t like it, and heard a talented musician by the name of Casi Joy(who I bought a CD from). I’d say this was a «win» and would def return to The Row

Oh I loved this place so much! It was quiet enough to get a great seat in the bar. But not so quiet that it was awkward. The musicians were friendly, and taking requests. Were great with music and also had some really good originals as well. According to their menu, they are the birthplace for Brooks and Dunn as well as friends in low places. So much fun to be there. Oh and the food. Beautifully presented and tasted fabulous. My husband had the chicken fried steak with smashed potatoes. I had the hot chicken, which is what the row is known for. Perfect meal to have while listening to the musicians play«chicken fried». Will definitely return!

It was an icy snowy night in Nashville and the restaurant we were meeting our friends closed. We got in their truck and began looking for somewhere else to eat. We had reservations here the night before but had to cancel because the roads were impassable. We called and they had a table available. That cheered me up on this cold evening. There was a bar area to listen to music and have a drink but we waited at the entrance for our table. We were seated in the dining area and it worked out perfectly. We don’t get to see these friends very often and we had a lot of catching up to do. I was happy we could hear each other and visit. Some places are too loud to have a conversation. Kelly was our waitress and we had great service. Our friends and I ordered from the restaurant week menu but my husband has a hot chicken addiction so he ordered that from their regular menu. We shared the bacon queso and fried pickles for our appetizers. I had the Maple Bourbon Glazed Salmon with bourbon sweet potatoes and snap beans. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I loved the glaze. Sweet potatoes and snap beans were also good. We all enjoyed our food and were thankful they were open on this messy evening.

I tried the bloody Mary bar, the concept was great however the selection at the bar was a little tired — not bad, but no meat sticks or shrimp. The fried pickle chips were awesome. Very thinly sliced with light batter and drizzled with a homemade sauce. They let me use the online fried pickle card on my first visit instead of making me come back… since I was traveling through town. Good service touch. The brussels sprouts were delicious although the serving was very small. As well, the mac & cheese was very well flavored. The guacamole had an excessive amount of lime juice in it which made it unpalatable. However, they replaced it with the queso dip upon request. The queso dip was very good with just the right amount of seasoning. We had the brisket tacos. Good combination of ingredients and was much enhanced with the house barbecue sauce drizzled over it. Overall a solid showing.

This place makes my mouth happy! Great cocktails, amazing food, super friendly staff. Our bartenders were fantastic with food and drink recommendations and also about things to do, as many places around town were still closed due to snow. The food was fantastic! Probably the best grits that I have ever had. Ever. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked… I got the hot. And I wanted to roll in the bourbon sweet potatoes. I will never not make sweet potatoes without bourbon again… My point is Go Here! NOW! It’s fabulous!

Nothing too special here at the Row. I have been twice and neither time really impressed me. The food is good but nothing to really write home about. The drinks are the usual drinks you can get just about anywhere. The atmosphere is very touristy Nashville, with a live band in the bar area. We ate out on the patio where you can still hear the music but you can also have a conversation with your table. We started with the free pickles that you can get off the Unilocal app. They are tasty, and good to snack on while you have a cocktail. For dinner, we had the traditional hot chicken and mac and cheese. It was tasty but Hatties will always be the best.

Terrific food and great music. I love the BBQ and the hot chicken. I usually come here later and sit in the bar area for the music. I have eaten through most of the dessert menu. The chocolate bread pudding is terrific — and a huge portion. It get crowded sometimes in the bar area — so make a reservation. Mike Peck puts books great music from 6−11pm at least 6 – 7 nights a week — all new local talent. This is one of my favorite places to go.

Had the opportunity to dine here this last week. We came upon the recommendation of desk manager of the hotel. The hotel bartender seconded the recommendation. Upon entering the restaurant we could only visibly see the bar area and when we were told a 20 minute wait we were surprised since they were multiple parties ahead of us. As it turns out, there was also a rather large dining room. Of course, we went to the bar to grab a cocktail while waiting. Lots of perks in the bar, live music which was extremely good and an extensive list of LOCAL brewery beers. They were right on schedule with the 20 minute wait time. Very large southern menu. For my entrée, I ordered Hot Fish which was a special as opposed the Nashville hot chicken, this dish was Nashville Hot Fish, very good served over a corn cake«pancake» with choice of one side. I choose the cheesy grits which personally was one of the only reasons I did not give the restaurant 5*. They were only OK. Although another in my party had grits also and hers looked a lot better than mine. My husband had chicken fried chicken which he also loved and the largest chicken sandwich I have ever seen was ordered by another in our group. They both were very pleased. Service was extremely good and our server did a great job guessing our beers by the color(our first came with us from the bar)

Been here twice — Bellied up to the bar for live music and beer in the evening and loved it. Had lunch that was great. Took advantage of the free fried pickles by checking in with the Unilocal!app. Hot chicken was good! Will definitely come back.

We were looking for somewhere to hear live music. It was Sunday night, so we weren’t anticipating crowds anywhere what with work the next day. We came here because it wasn’t overcrowded nor expensive. It was an oddly warm December day, so we sat outside where we could enjoy the music, but not to the point that we couldn’t hear each others conversation. I had biscuits with several different kinds of jams. Oh man. That peach jam was amazing. The server was kind and brought me extra :) If you check in using the app, you get fried pickles. They’re good, though not cut traditionally so they were a little messier to eat than run of the mill fried pickles.

A great place for a mixture of awesome live music, drinks, and food! Happy hour is from 4 – 6, great deal on the 2 for 1 beers! I had a Moscow mule which was pretty strong so they definitely don’t skimp on the alcohol. Live music every night at 6PM! I had the chicken fried chicken which was amazing! So much food and carbs but so worth it :) Our waitress was pretty busy but she took care of us well. Definitely a great dinner!

The bar has live music every night… about an hour each set. It’s also one of the few places to chow down on good food while listening, which is an added treat. The crowd can get loud, though, so if you prefer to listen to music in a quiet room this isn’t your place. During our meal we listened to three bands, and all were fun. Our favorite was THEYOUNGFABLES, who are worth tracking down to see for a longer set. The food was excellent overall, especially for a live music bar. We started with the DEVILEDEGGS5WAY, which had different toppings, ranging from chow chow to caviar. They all pretty much tasted like the same brand of good, though. We also tried 4 of the HOUSEMADEPICKLEFLIGHT… the two standouts were the CRAZYCARROTS and the SMOKIN’ OKRA, both of which had pleasing and distinctive flavors. The string beans had a strange hot dill flavor that we didn’t find appealing, and the sweet beets were good, but pretty standard in terms of flavor. They were exactly what you would expect for pickled beets. We had the SHRIMPANDGRITS special, which was a great take on the classic dish. The sausage in it was out of this world good. We ended our meal with the BROWNIESUNDAE, which had a delicious chewy brownie topped with ice cream and chocolate drizzle. It’s served in a small cast iron skillet shaped like a guitar because, well, you’re in Nashville. Overall, the bar at Row is a great place to come if you want to sample 5 different acts while eating food that won’t make you regret it later.

Last night, I was outside in the 20something degree wind chill for 6ish hours when I could no longer feel my toes and I think my face got windburn. My nose is still red! For love, what can I do? Eric R. and I came all the way to Nashville for this football game, and darnit, we were in it for the long haul, tailgating and all. However, at the beginning of the 4th quarter, with his team winning and my body shutting down, he finally let me go. Über was too far away, so we hoofed it west, trying to figure out if we were hungry or just wanted to take a hot shower in the hotel room. He saw how good the reviews at Row are, so we stopped here en route to the hotel for a hot meal. We walked in around 10:03 to learn the kitchen just closed. The late night menu, served in the bar with live music, was filled with porky things which I don’t eat. Eric R. wanted to stay inside the warm restaurant to search for another nearby place to grub. I just wanted to leave and go back to the hotel because it was late anyway. However, the manager came by and insisted we stay — the kitchen was still finishing other diners’ orders in the dining room and could accommodate us. We were seated and ordered as soon as we sat. The Unilocal check-in for free fried pickles was honored and since Eric R. hates pickles and fried food, I got them all to myself! I happy munched away on this tasty treat that warmed me up quickly. Our meals came out before we got waters! Eric R. ordered brisket tacos with a side of cheddar grits, and I got the Nashville hot chicken with bourbon sweet potatoes. My side dish was lukewarm but Eric’s was steaming hot and delicious. My chicken was served on top of a corn cake and slaw with a pickle on top. It was crisp and spicy and delicious. I am glad I had my first hot chicken here. We left full and happy, could still hear the live music near our table anyway, and were warmed up to walk back the short way to the hotel. I truly appreciated the restaurant welcoming us into the dining room after the kitchen closing time so we could regain energy and warmth after a long night outside.

Came by for brunch on a Sunday afternoon right at about 12:30. There was about a twenty minute wait, though I’m not sure why as there were quite a few tables open. I ordered the Chef’s Omelet of the day, which was cheddar, turkey, and spinach. It was… okay. It came with a side of grits, which were pretty bland. The biscuit and jam was the best thing I ate, though the jam was kind of runny. The restaurant itself is nice, has a kind of country/rustic décor and vibe going on. Oh, and they have a Bloody Mary bar, which I thought was pretty cool. Staff was friendly. Service a bit slow.

Came here for drinks and a small snack while trying to figure out what there is to do when it come to the Nashville nightlife. Drove by this place and saw that there was live music, so my friend and I decided to stop by for a quick drink. We went straight to the bar and was happily greeted by the bartender and was offered waters and menus. Since we were in Nashville, it was appropriate to order whiskey themed cocktails and they had a nice collection of cocktails to choose from. Also since I checked in via Unilocal,we got complimentary fried pickles! When it came to the cocktails, I ordered the Whiskey Nelson, which was iced tea, whiskey and orange grenadine. My friend ordered the Blue Black Jack, which was Jack Daniels, blue-black purée and mint. Both drinks were very refreshing and had the perfect amount of whiskey to compliment the sweetness that each drink had. They both were very easy to drink, but be careful, it will catch up to you! The fried pickles were also delicious! Lightly battered, a decent sized portion and came with a zesty sauce that you can dip them into. It was a perfect snack! The live band was awesome! He played some great country covers and he played some of his original music too! He definitely brought some life and entertainment to the bar! I had a great experience here! Come for the drinks, you can’t go wrong!

We stopped here for Saturday brunch for two reasons. One, we were hungry. Two, the place next door could not seat us. This place was pretty busy too, but we found a couple of seats at the patio bar. One of the bartenders quickly greeted us and handed over a couple of menus. They had a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar that was stocked with an impressive selection of garnishes. I ordered one, of course! For food I went with a not-so-brunchy option: The Row Cobb; a salad topped with smoked turkey, tomato, eggs, avocado, bacon, and cheddar cheese, served with a bleu cheese vinaigrett dressing. I was expecting slices of processed turkey on the salad, but it was bbq smoked, and pulled meat! Somehow I missed that when ordering and it was a pleasant surprise. I loved it! My friend ordered the Midtown Bennie… He inhaled it, so it must have been good! At some point between ordering our food and being served, I noticed a Unilocal check-in offer for free fried pickles. I checked in, showed the offer to the bartender, and a few minutes later we had our free pickles! The pickles were cut in strips rather than the rounds that I’m accustom to seeing. Interesting… They tasted pretty darn good!

We stopped by here since Hattie B’s was closed for the holiday and was pleasantly blown away by the great service we received when we walked in. Southern hospitality does make a difference! We started off with the fried pickles as an appetizer since it was highly recommended and we got it for free since we checked-in on Unilocal. It was AMAZING!!! I have never had fried pickles to where they sliced the pickle longways in thin strips. It was crispy and oh-so satisfying. I highly recommend it. The Mr. ordered the hot chicken with a side of the bacon mac and cheese. He said the batter could have stayed on the chicken a bit better although the amount of spiciness was to his liking. The bacon mac and cheese was really good and creamy. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was humongous(see my uploaded pics). The chicken was nice and moist and the fried onion strings that topped the gravy was a nice touch. We washed our entire meal down with sweet, yes, sweet teas and left there happy. I will definitely have to go back every time we visit Nashville.
