The Joint ...the chiropractic place

I love this place! So affordable and without it I’d be so n constant pain! It’s so easy to get in and out at my convenience. I go 4x a month for adjustments. They are professionals and took time to help me through my back pain struggles. I can’t say enough good things about this model. It’s making alternative treatments accessible and affordable.

Don’t get to Nashville that often but when I do I always try to stop by The Joint. Don’t need an appointment. Fair price. Great adjustment. What else is there?

I could barely walked through the door but by the time I left I could walk my back felt great and they were very professional very kind and understanding about everything that was going on I would recommend them highly to anyone that I come across specially when you’re in downtown Nashville and you need in the judgment they are kind courteous and understand the needs of their patients thanks again to the staff of the joint for helping me out

I was in Nashville last week and in a lot of pain. I desperately needed an adjustment. My preferred method of treatment is with the activator. I called the office in Brentwood only to be told that their doctors do only manual adjustments. Not being one to take ‘no’ for an answer, I called this location on West End Avenue. The receptionist, Hannah, explained that if the activator is needed before the manual adjustment, the doctor would accommodate me. Imagine my surprise when Dr Fowler told me that she would very happily adjust me with the activator as well as do the complete protocol that goes along with it. And on top of that, she’s a graduate of Logan in St Louis. That’s my regular clinic! Dr Fowler did a fantastic job. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

I’m kiiiinda of a skeptic when it comes to chiropractic care, though I can’t say it’s never cured me. I can do without the wave machines and electrotherapy or whatever, but I’ll sit through pretty much anything to get crunched like a tin can. This was especially the case in my early/​mid 20s thanks to the combo of running a zillion miles a week/​slumping over in an office chair the rest of the time… while having really awesome health insurance that covered as much back cracking as I ever needed for the price of only a small copay. (I didn’t even have to convince a doc to commit insurance fraud a la Seinfeld!)
For several years thereafter, I became significantly lazier at the gym while working jobs that mostly kept me standing all day long. While I can’t recommend such a thing if you are prone to sore feet, for me it meant no back pain for a nice long time.
In my 30s I have kept up the laziness but found myself once again slumped over in an office chair, so it’s not surprising that that one day I woke up with the neck ache of the century. I dismissed it as my aging bones for a few days, and when a massage did nothing to make it better, I started to convince myself that I would be popping four Advil and slathering myself in Tiger Balm every morning just to get out of bed FOR LIKE EVER.
After enduring this pain for two weeks, I did some research. No longer in possession of said sweet insurance, I wasn’t super stoked about the idea of potentially wasting hundreds of dollars on something that wouldn’t help my neck at all.
With a little research, though, I discovered The Joint. At only $ 29 for a single visit, there wasn’t much to lose. They’re open till 7 on weeknights and 4 on Saturdays, so it was easy to just drop by on my way home from work. Without an appointment, Dr. Fowler saw me immediately. I told her what was up and she did some basic tests to determine whether I could be adjusted (I didn’t get hooked up to anything!). After that, she crunched me in a few different ways, and sure enough, the next morning I was nearly cured! She also gave me a follow up call, which I thought was a nice touch.
After a few days of icing with my complimentary ice pack, I came for a second crunching. The next day, it was like my neck had never hurt at all!
I didn’t spring for any of the packages, but if you’re someone who needs chiropractic care regularly, they’re a really good deal, breaking down to less than $ 20 a visit.
Next time I wake up with even the slightest twinge of pain, I’m headed straight to The Joint!
