Customer Service could not, and I mean, COULDNOT be worse. After spending thousands of dollars, countless of mistakes, lack of eye contact, many offenses and no apologies, my business is going elsewhere. There is a tight group of people that Troy used to have as clients… one by one they are dropping. The word is out she is losing clients left and right. I would take your money anywhere else. Nashville has so much to offer and people who take their jobs seriously and focus on details with much more talent are abundant.

Contrary to the harsh, vindictive reviews listed below, my experience with Troy and the staff at the Dotted Line was more than satisfying. The store itself is quaint, cute and inviting. Filled with crafty calendars and adorable invitations, The Dotted Line provides a heartwarming atmosphere that parallels its customer service. The employees are professionly, yet stylishly dressed and treat their customers with much respect. The complementary coffee and spiced whiskey I received can attest to the aforementioned. Like most Americans, I found myself in a holiday conundrum. Christmas was in a week, and I had completely forgotten to send out my Christmas cards. Expecting the worst, I tentatively asked a very pleasant and amiable blonde employee(Andy maybe?) if it was too late to create and send 250 cards across the US. She confidently replied that they could easily complete the task rapidly, with artisan quality, and at a more than fair price. The cards were sent the very next day and many an in-law was thoroughly pleased. I have received numerous complements of the«classiness» and«charm» of my cards. I will absolutely be using The Dotted Line again for my sister’s wedding invitations! And she could not be more excited! 5⁄5

I will start by saying that I hate to write bad reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to experience what I did. I went into this shop on a Friday morning in desperate search of Bridal Shower Invitations. I needed them prepared as quick as possible so that I could get them sent out. I talked to the girl who was working there who showed me some options. We narrowed it down and she took down all of the information and told me that I would have a proof via email by that evening or Monday at the latest. I reminded her again that I was in a hurry to get them and she said they could get them done quickly, no problem. She also told me that they would cost about $ 2 — $ 2.25 each, which was perfect. I didn’t hear from anyone so first thing Tuesday morning, I called and left a message. Layne returned my phone call and told me that the owner had tried to email me and had the wrong email address.(Hard to believe since I saw her write it down on Friday and they had my phone number as well…). She gave me the new quote for the invites which was now over $ 4 each– almost double what I was originally told. She asked for my approval to move ahead and CREATE a proof… they hadn’t even started. So, not only did everything about our original discussion change, but they had put me behind by almost 5 additional days. Luckily, I was able to get great invites on and pay a rush fee to get them quickly. The sad thing is, the shop is very cute! I am in the period of life where I have all sorts of showers, parties, etc and I’m always in need of invites. However, I will take my business elsewhere and encourage my friends to do the same. They don’t seem concerned about their customers or making right on their promises. I wasn’t even offered an apology! Oh, and I got an email right after my phone conversation with Layne so I guess they did have my correct email address… Don’t waste your time here.
