Cute place love the truffles, pretzel sticks are yummy. Glad this group opened up in Germantown, usually come after brunch on Saturday’s for a little something sweet. and always take something home for the week. Staff has always been friendly.

Tempered was good but not what I expected. I was a tad bit disappointed because I simply had high hopes for what it would be. And maybe if I had come at a different time it may have been better but I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 3pm and they were out of a lot of truffles. That was pretty disappointing. My friend and I decided to get the truffle and fruit plate and it really wasn’t what I expected. We got 8 truffles which was great because my friend and I each chose 4 we wanted to try but it came with a handful of grapes. And that’s where I was disappointed. It just seems disappointing when you think you’ll get more fruit and you simply get a handful of grapes. The truffles were good each one unique in its own way. The rosemary cayenne was surprisingly interesting and enjoyable. However the espresso was probably my favorite. Their truffles are a nice treat but I wouldn’t recommend it with the fruit. Their iced coffee was pretty on point.

I adore everything about this joint: the smell, the ambiance, the friendly staff, the wine, the late night music selection — most of all, THECHOCOLATE!!! This is such a sweet and delightful little gem in the heart of Germantown, and the love and care that is offered to each piece of these gorgeous truffles and treats is obvious at first glance. Hence the reason they are my consistent go-to when I need the perfect gift of chocolate-flavored goodness. Yes, it can get a bit pricy here if you’re not careful((especially if you’re the dummy who offers to pick up the tab on multiple wine/chocolate flights, zoinks!!)), but I lump it all down to quality and location — the rent/upkeep can’t be cheap in such a primo part of our neighborhood! But I assure you that even the priciest item here is worth every penny due to its awesomely artisanal flair. I’ve yet to have a bad experience or bite in this charming little shop and I doubt I ever will since this place is obviously run with lotsa heart and soul — speaking of which, come here for their«Green Hour» for absinthe and cocktails one night((Thursday-Sunday)) and prepare to be swept away to a special happy place of green fairies and chocolate dreams… Also? Try the frozen red wine on a hot day — such a refreshing, perfect afternoon treat!

This hot chocolate. Good Lord. It’s phenomenal. Also, their belgian waffles are LEGIT. There are actual chunks of pearl sugar in the batter. You can’t find a better waffle in Nashville. Believe me, I’ve looked everywhere.

Such an adorable little gem! Perfect for dessert on a romantic date night. Their hot chocolate was outrageously delicious. All real and homemade. Whipped cream and all :) truffles were delicious too! It was very pricy though. 6 truffles and 2 hot chocolates were 22 bucks but the cuteness was worth it:)

What a fantastic little gem! And in the heart of Germantown! By day, you can come in, grab a croissant or a truffle/whiskey sampler… By night, you can come in to enjoy a cocktail or absinthe tasting during their«green hour». During this weekend’s snowstorm, my husband and I bundled up, went out for lunch then followed the scent of chocolate into this little place. We were quickly(and easily!) persuaded to try the truffle/bourbon flight… And we’re glad we did! Three shots of whiskey and three glorious little chocolate truffles were enjoyed… All while sitting at the marble bar chatting it up with the owner while she handmade chocolates. The décor is very Parisian, and for good reason. On the weekends, they host what’s called the green hour. Where the quaint little café turns into a speakeasy, offering several different types of absinthe and fabulous cocktails. Watch for the green light on outside to know when the green hour has begun. My husband and I loved our truffle/bourbon flight so much that, right then and there, we made plans to attend the green hour for the first time this weekend. We can’t wait! They also have amazing little gifts on the bookcase when you walk in… Right now it’s loaded with fabulous and unique valentine’s gift ideas. A Hot Chocolate Bomb? Stop in the see what that is… You’ll love it!

Thurs — Saturday after 8.00pm the curtains are closed, a green light appears and Ta Da and absinthe bar. Bring a fountain to your table and sip and chat. Other libations available and the added bonus of Jeremiah ex Holland House mixing them up. Cute addition to the chocolate by day scene… but I do have my own fountain at home.

Tempered hot chocolate is by far the best hot chocolate I have ever had anywhere in Nashville. Not only Nashville but the entire United States. We absolutely love this place. They just remodeled the inside and it is awesome. We love it so much! You must come by for the best hot chocolate ever. They also top it with homemade whip cream.

Boyfriend and I darted in here this weekend after our anniversary dinner. The location is quaint and inviting, yet intimate. We shared a few truffles – the most notable being the brown butter truffle – delightful. I had a spiked hot chocolate and he had a whiskey sipper while we chatted with the sweet girl working that evening – Marisa is also a Texas girl and lo and behold, we have a mutual connection! She was delightful, and just added to the experience. Great stop for a girls’ night or post-dinner sweet tooth satisfier.

Went here on a Nashville food tour! Adorable décor inside with delicious hand made chocolates. Met the owner, so nice :) Very cute spot in Germantown! Her organic Caramels are so yummy! She also gave the group a lesson on tempered chocolate.

Stopped by here for a quick look after eating lunch across the street at Red Bicycle. It’s a pretty small shop, but cutely decorated. There were options to do a wine and truffle tasting, as well as truffles on display. I admit I was expecting more treats to be on display(I only saw 6 or so?), but the one I tried($ 2 for one truffle) – the blueberry hibiscus – was really good! Most likely my short visit here doesn’t do this place justice; however, I was impressed with the one piece of truffle I did eat and think this would be a great gift for someone. Will have to visit again another time!

I had the idea of bringing my girlfriend chocolate while on the way to her place. I knew she had gone through a rough day at work and it would be just the thing to take her mind off of it. I called around and it seemed that nothing was available! Either people were already closed in preparation for the Memorial Day weekend or they were simply closed after 6pm. Using Unilocal,I came across this place and gave them a call to see if they were open. I was in luck! Time wasn’t on my side so I had to get in, grab some chocolate, and make haste! Cleveland was still 120+ miles away! Staci presented quite a few options and they all sounded fantastic. Ultimately I opted for the 12 for $ 18. It seemed like a great deal and since Tempur has so many truffles, it seemed like there was bound to be something that my gf would like. I regret that I couldn’t stay very long to properly assess the place and its offerings. There appeared to have been some sort of gathering(maybe a chocolate and wine pairing?); the other people there looked like they were having fun. I’ll be returning here so perhaps I can partake in it, too. Oh yeah. The chocolate was a hit. She loved the ones she tried and I did, too.

Sweet little chocolate shop! Visited Tempur for the first time today, it was lovely. Hannah was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the French breakfast with coffee and got 4 chocolates to go, I mentioned that I love caramel and then she suggested the homemade caramels… OMG! They are soooooo good, I got 5 for $ 5!(Earl Gray is my favorite) …I will definitely return, soon. I love having this place in Nashville.

This place lacks the charm and elegance that they are striving for. Painting a couch on the wall is just tacky. There is no ambiance and it is not inviting. My caramels were frozen and when they thawed they were so sticky i could hardly enjoy them. The chocolates do look lovely and taste fine but there was nothing I had that blew me away. If you offer a place to sit and enjoy elegant chocolate you need an environment that matches that. It only made me miss the beautiful Cake Bake Shop in Indianapolis.

Perfect after dinner treat in Germantown! Suggested by a friend and did not disappoint. I tried all of the dark chocolate truffles(3 different ones) and each was unique and tasty. My husband had 3 milk Choc flavors and also really enjoyed them. They are open til 11pm on weekends at least, so stop by after dinner! The décor was adorable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they also serve warm drinks if you so desire :) we will certainly be back. Ps — would also be a great place to buy a gift. We got 12 total and I believe it was around $ 15!

I received a box of hand painted truffles for Valentine’s day. They were melt-in-your mouth delicious and elegantly wrapped by the shop. SO said that service was friendly and informative. We can’t wait to get back and try more of their offerings.

What a wonderful shop. My sister and I spent three hours this morning– drinking amazing french press coffee, picking at Gouda cheese, grapes and strawberries and finishing with delish truffles and caramels. This is a lovely place to go for a date or friend/sister outing. I will definitely be back — both on a date with my hubs and on a sister outing. With wifi, $ 1 coffee refills and $ 8 french breakfast– honesty this is the perfect place for a wonderful conversation in a cherry atmosphere. My sister is vegan and had an option for both the truffles and caramel and loved them! The french breakfast came with churned honey(OMG), jam, grapes and a strawberry. My only suggestion to the company is offer mimosas Saturday morning.

Gorgeous little chocolate shop in Germantown, Nashville. My sister and I were driving home from NOLA this past January, and because she is gluten-free, we decided to grab breakfast at the little creperie across the street from Tempur. As we were coming out to finish the long trip home, we saw the shop was open and decided to stop. While we were fully stuffed with our breakfast and didn’t try anything at the shop, we were offered numerous samples. I ended up buying two large boxes of chocolates, one for my coworker and the other for my mom, four smaller 4-count boxes for other coworkers, and a half pound of the sponge candy as a «leave in the lunchroom» treat. They ended up comping me an additional quarter pound of the sponge candy, which was so sweet of them. Needless enough to say, I ended up keeping one of the 4-count boxes for myself, and the chocolate was fantastic. Every day my mother would call me to tell me about the flavor she and my dad tried that day and how wonderful it was. I was equally impressed, especially with how well the Whisper Creek truffles paired with Laphroaig 18. They are definitely a place I will order from in the future and will definitely stop in when I’m in Nashville.

Tempur is adorable! It has a great little bistro look and feel. The tables and space are a bit small, but there is great table service and lots of delicious options. We decided to munch on the Tempur board(charcuterie, cheese, jams, and fruit) while drinking white wine. I was very impressed by the cheeses! Most of the time, I don’t enjoy everything on a charcuterie board… but on this one, we finished everything but the strongest cheese! I really loved this creamy cheese they served that we paired with their creamed honey. The fig preserves were amazing too. It well-presented and explained thoroughly. You could tell they put a lot of thought into the board! It took about ten minutes to prepare, which they warned us about. Everything is made to order, which I appreciate. We headed up to the counter to sample some of the truffles and caramels. If you’re interested in something, ask them for a teeny taste, and they are happy to oblige. It helped me pick out some goodies to bring home.(The salted caramels are AMAZING. Seriously, even my friend who isn’t a huge caramel fan was OMGing over them.) For dessert, I ordered a hot chocolate since it was National Hot Chocolate Day, and we both ordered the Dipped Rice Crispie. All of the desserts are very reasonably priced, and once again made to order! You can also choose which chocolate you want your items dipped in, which is awesome. There was a bit of a mix-up with our desserts, but fortunately we eventually got them(and a little extra snack) after some time… on the house. The folks at Tempur definitely know how to take care of you. The hot chocolate was a little thick for my taste, but reminded me of the thick hot cocoa in Spain that you dip churros into… maybe they should offer something like that to accompany the chocolate! Tempur is the perfect place to wind down(and wine down!) on a girls’ night. The desserts are so good I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in to take a few bites home either. You should definitely check it out, if you’re in the Germantown neighborhood. It’s located directly across the street from Germantown Café, and we found street parking easily. It’s worth the trip!

If you love chocolate then this is the place to check out!!! It’s in a great location, close to restaurants, so you can enjoy dinner out then walk over for dessert! You walk in and it smells heavenly! Super cute décor and really friendly employees. You can either order some truffles/chocolate covered treats/hot chocolate to go or sit down and enjoy things such as wine and cheese pairings/truffle boards/charcuterie/etc. I was with 3 others so we decided to just do the large truffle board. It came with 2 white chocolate truffles, 2 milk chocolate truffles, 2 dark chocolate truffles, and 2 of each of their specialty truffles. Also on the board were 2 pieces each of dark and milk chocolate toffee as well as a strawberry. There was a ton of chocolate to try, each more awesome than the next! We finished the tray, equal parts ashamed and proud that we took down all of it! It was a fun thing to share while out on a double date! The servers were excited to share their knowledge and they seemed to genuinely enjoy watching people try their treats! I would definitely take people here while they’re in town visiting! I can’t say this would be a place I would frequent on my own, but that’s purely because I don’t want to gain 1,000 pounds!

This is a perfect addition to Germantown as it serves so many purposes: wine bar, dessert shop, café, and appetizer stop. If I was reading the menu correctly it looks like they will be open for breakfast soon, if they aren’t already. I’ve been here twice now and have had nothing short of a great experience. They have charcuterie plates, chocolate platters, fruit plates, and cheese plates, or you can do a combination of any of the above. I am not picky about my chocolates or my wine and each time I have come in I have asked for suggestions as I figure the people working here know best. I have not been disappointed in either my wine or my chocolate, and I find the chocolates to be some of the best I have had in Nashville — far better than Olive and Sinclair — and I have not experienced any compromised ingredients or quality, unlike the reviewer below. Maybe my palate is not refined enough, but I have found everything here to be exceptional. I recently purchased the chocolate platter, complete with truffles, a peanut butter cup, chocolate covered strawberry, and toffee. My dining companion and I had planned to save some for later but ended up eating the entire platter because everything was to die for! This is a great spot to come grab a class of wine and a quick bite, or dessert after a meal. I am so excited to have Tempur in Germantown and will definitely be back!.. for more chocolate platters most likely.

I have been to Tempur already a handful of times since it opened, I absolutely love it! The first couple of times I just grabbed some of the truffles and sponge candy. The truffles are delicious and I highly recommend the white chocolate cinnamon hibiscus. The sponge candy is awesome too! You can get it by the lb or half pound and it’s super addictive! Everyone that works here has been so nice anytime we come in and they are always excited to tell you about the chocolates or different things they make. They also seem to always be working on making something so you get to see them in action. This past weekend a friend and I went in to try their pairings. They worked really hard to pick wines, cheeses, and chocolates that compliment each other and they did a great job. The servers were also really knowledgeable about back story on the wines, what makes certain wines and cheese compliment, and techniques to get the most out of all the flavors. The shop is well lit and the employees are very inviting as soon as you walk in the door. There isn’t a ton of room inside but still 5 – 6 tables for people doing pairings or the boards. Overall I really recommend this place!

What a cute chocolate shop! Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed. They’ve been open for about 4 days now. The owner of the shop is super sweet and took the time to explain all the different types of chocolates. They have lots of free samples, all of which were delicious. There is seating in here and the ambiance is relaxed. We decided to get a box of 12 truffles, which came to about $ 17. The chocolate is smooth, not too sweet, and incredibly flavorful. These would make really nice gifts for any chocolate lover. They also offer a variety of other chocolate dipped cookies, etc. I’m so glad we dropped by and will definitely be back the next we are in town.
