Trendy, affordable women’s clothing and accessories boutique next to a designer consignment shop. Not top notch quality, but enough to last a season or two. I bought a pair of hounds tooth shorts that were on sale for $ 25.00, regularly priced for $ 38.00. I was happy with my purchase when I went home and found them on other sites for almost $ 50.00. The service was ok. The lady did not greet me when I walked in and I was the only customer there. After she saw me holding a couple items, she finally asked if I needed anything.

A friend of mine from Alabama came to town in order to shop for that perfect dress for her 10 year class reunion… well, actually, it was my reunion too except that I already decided not to go She had done her research and knew exactly which boutiques she wanted to hit up. While I’m pretty much a vintage gal and can recreate the same outfit a million times, she is a new party, new dress type. The first of about ten places we went to was Studio 615. I didn’t catch the girl’s name who was helping us, but we were spot on with our advice to my friend, and she(who is crazy picky) left with an entire outfit. By the time we checked out, I wanted to ask the chick for a cocktail she was so fun, friendly, and helpful. The prices were more than reasonable for the item as well, especially in the shoe area. My only question which doesn’t apply exclusively to Studio 615, but many of the other boutiques in town, why do they carry the EXACT same dresses, brand and everything? By about the 5th store, we realized we were looking at the same stuff over and over again. I guess this is why I shop mostly vintage, but it worked for her!

I have mixed feelings about both these stores. First, the décor is fabulous! Great job decorating! Love everything about it! 5 stars all the way! Second, I love most the clothes and shoes. They have a great selection! I am now 30-something, so I think some of them are too young for me, but they have a great selection of really stylish stuff! Here is one of my two issues. I think the prices have jumped since they first opened? The first several times I went in I found the clothes appropriately priced. Then I went in after The Sole of 615 opened and it seems the clothing prices jumped from affordable chic — to way overpriced for the quality and brands. I have a friend that owns a boutique and can get the EXACT same brands they get(shoes and clothes). I know that some of it is marked way too high for the quality that it is. Other stuff is appropriately priced though. My second issue also came in my most recent trips. A year ago I went in and the lady was super nice and helpful! Since then I’ve had not as great of an experience. Some of the staff was kinda rude. I didn’t get a «hello» for quite some time. They were busy helping what was obviously a friend. all gathered around her dressing room. talking about what they were wearing to a party that night, etc. I waited on the Shoe side for a while before anyone grabbed my sizes and then when they did they seemed less than attentive. I went back in when no one was there and they were great. Overall, great place to shop. I think the staff could be a little friendlier to customers.

It is ALWAYS about the shoes. You know it. I know it. Let’s go to Studio 615 and do some damage shall we? With the new addition of Sole 615 adjoining Studio 615’s already fun interior, now you can stretch out and get comfortable as the balance on your AMEX grows by the minute. The styles are all on-point with trends that are in the glossy fashion magazines but lack the 4 digit price points and rarely bypass the 3 digit points. These pieces are not going to last forever but you can certainly get good use through a season… besides…do you really want to wear them after that anyway? I invest in classic pieces from well known designers but Studio 615 is a fantastic option to infuse more risk and trend into your wardrobe without feeling the guilt! I have bought cute mini day-dresses and jewelry on a previous visit but decided to stroll through the new shoe boutique Sole 615 today. The merchandising is clean and uncluttered and Darnice the owner offered genuine customer service while I fell in LOVE with much of the inventory. Studded gladiator sandals, cobalt blue faux suede booties, and red, black and gold colorblocked platforms all rounded out the inventory. I then turned the corner and locked eyes with a shimmery pair of glitter silver platform heels that oooozed Betsey Johnson’s quirk and whimsy… minus the price-tag. SOLD! An in-store promotion knocked $ 20 off the $ 105 price-tag and I breezed out of the door spending nearly 1⁄3 of what I would have at Betsey Johnson. She’s not the only one who can do cartwheels down the runway now, huh? Most apparel is priced comfortably between $ 40-$ 100 and shoes are around the same, although some of the newer brands can go up to the $ 200 range. Costume jewelry was priced well as I almost snatched up a wide studded bangle bracelet for $ 25. Purses were in full effect and had good price points to round out the accessories section. A healthy sale area is also available and I noticed that some items were as low as $ 10 for bargain hunters. Be sure to add your name to the Studio 615 email list for updates on promotions an events to help your dollar stretch even further.

This is one of my favorite shops in Nashville. They have moved from Demonbreum to West End, next to UAL. The selection is limited. Ironically, I always find a cute cocktail dress to wear. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they always have good sales. Put this boutique on your list of places to find unique trendy pieces. The bulldog and pug in the back are adorable, too!

Studio 615 is more reasonably priced and has more interesting choices than its next-door neighbor, Flavour. The dresses, tops, pants, and denim here are flirty, glamorous, and youthful. I guess the hip hop playing on the stereo was supposed to get shoppers in the mood to go try out their new purchases at a club or frat party. In addition to sexy party clothes, some of which looked fairly impractical and difficult to wear, I also found some unique, more versatile tops, jackets, and dresses. The sales racks in the back were sizable, with items between 25% and 75% off, which mean that you could snag a dress for as low as $ 15. But most of the merchandise at Studio 615 is $ 40+. Also, there were only a few sizes of each style, so you might end up finding something you really like that’s not available in your size. Most of the merchandise is casual to semi-formal, along with a small selection of formal dresses. I’d say that Studio 615 is for women who want to draw attention to themselves and show themselves off(which is fine by me), or who enjoy wearing playful, unusual clothes.

I can’t say I always buy something here, but I always see something that I want. To say I practice self-restraint, well no not really. Mainly, if I leave without a fun purchase, it’s probably because they didn’t have it in my size. That is one reason I take away a star. They have limited sizes, but that’s also a good thing. Meaning, not everyone will be walking around with the same outfit you have on. The clothes are definitely on the trendier side, but not ultra college-hip. Prices are reasonable too – the most expensive items in the store are their designer jeans(they vary on what type jeans they will carry so I won’t list them now). Fun, spacious store though – oh and FYI, sometimes there is a cute little dog running around. She won’t bother you though – don’t let that deter you from checking out this place!
