Remix Furniture Consignment – Nashville

I came here on the hunt for some dining room chairs. I found 2 that I love, but they only had 2, and I needed 4. Bummer.
The staff was very friendly, but most of the furniture was so-​so. Other than the 2 chairs, I didn’t see anything else I would be interested in. The store is pretty small, and to be honest, I doubt I would go back if I was in need of furniture. Just not my style.

We just bought a new house that had absolutely no storage space in the kitchen. We came here and hey had nice furniture pieces, shelving, and decorative items. It really is a great place for sturdy furniture. The woman there was super nice and friendly. She helped us load the items and even made sure before hand that it would fit in the caravan before we started loading.

Nice people great finds and interesting place to browse and purchase home furnishings.

Just discovered this place today. Had been stalking Mallory for some decent bedroom furniture, then saw an ad for Remix in Nashville Scene. So we stopped in after a visit to the Frist (it’s about 5 minutes away). I could not believe they had exactly what we wanted — two mid-​century twin beds, a matching dresser and end table, all for under $ 300. Also picked up a nice old print of early Nashville, just in need of a decent frame job. We were greeted super pleasantly when we walked in, and the couple who were staffing the store could not have been any friendlier or more helpful, even offering some advice on refinishing. The selection was EXCELLENT — all kinds of interesting stuff, at good prices. We will definitely be back — so happy to have found such a great shop!

Mica even recommended a great and inexpensive mover to get my items to the store quickly! I HIGHLY recommend consigning or buying with Remix Furniture!!! I really feel that what sets Remix apart is their dedication to customer service. They truly try to make purchasing furniture a hassle-​free and enjoyable experience for everyone. I did want to clarify some points that I saw stated on previous reviews. Originally, they DID pick up items, and there was that 50% or 60% split with consignors. Now they no longer pick up, but they have names and numbers of some wonderful movers who can help get furniture to the store. All consignments are now a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ split.
Another great thing about Remix is their website. On their FAQ page their consignment terms are clearly explained and easy to understand. When they get new items in, they photograph them and post them in the web photo gallery. When something sells, they take it off the website so you won’t walk into the store expecting to see something that’s already sold.
I’ve never felt pressured when shopping around. They are really knowledgeable about furniture and have a passion for customer service. Once you see what comes through this place, you’ll never buy new furniture again!

Goodness, y’all! Get yourselves down to Remix right now. I just snagged a handsome chest of drawers, an elegant dining table, a petit coffee table that’s exactly the right size, and a terrific tea table with a glass tray top that’s perfect for the entryway, all at such reasonable prices that I’m pinching myself at my good luck.
Remix is two floors of about every kind of wonderful that you can think of and a few things you didn’t know existed. I’m talking hip and cool to old-​fashioned and just plain pretty. Believe me, I’ve been all over Nashville, and they have the best selection I’ve found, bar none.
And the staff is great. The first time I was in Remix, I forgot my tape measure. The young man on duty that afternoon charged up the stairs for his and had all the dimensions I needed in no time.
Remix doesn’t deliver, but if you buy something too big for your car, as I did, they’ve got a list of folks with trucks who can pick up and deliver it for you.
Mercy! What more could you ask for?

I notice that the other reviews for Remix are from ‘Sellers’, well folks I’m a buyer and they deserve no less than 5 stars for this side of the business!
My boyfriend and I were in the market for a couch; Remix was the first place and the last place we searched. In fact our couch was sitting in the first room you enter at Remix. Either we’re lucky ducks or this couch was meant for us. It’s red, soft, perfectly sized for our compact living room and lightly used/​loved.
As you may read on their website prices for their items start at 100%, then after a month drop, then they drop again another 30 days later. So if you’re willing to risk waiting you can get incredible pieces for a reduced price but we didn’t want to risk losing this and bought it after a circuit around their selection. They have rooms upstairs and downstairs with all sorts of quality used items. Really any style any price and all lightly used, some antiques and some just plain funky.
The man at the front desk was very warm and friendly without being overly pushy. Check out took minutes and although they do not offer delivery service they do offer recommendations for movers at reasonable prices. OR you can do like we did and walk less than a block to the U-​haul at the corner of 8^th and Wedgewood and take the item home yourself.
We’re very pleased with our new sofa and I would highly recommend checking out Remix on your furniture search. ALSO I forgot to mention that they keep the photo gallery on their website pretty up to date. The picture of our couch was taken down the day we bought it. You can call in about different pieces and ask questions, now that’s helpful!

Remix furniture is completely hassle free and very dependable. They agreed to pick up my furniture at the most convenient time for me. I highly recommend. :)
