So I’m not sure where some of these bummed reviews came from??? Met a co-worker there for lunch and it was great! Fast lines, smiling staff, clean tables, and good food! A few years ago, a friend introduced me to the Mexican Gumbo and this day it was calling my name! Not sure how to describe it but it’s like a tortilla soup with any of their toppings you want… which makes it a bit thicker than soup but not as thick as, say, chili. It just hit the spot… Maybe it was that it was lunch time instead of dinner or wee hours of the morning, but it was GOOD!!!

Staff is great, and the food is fresh! Way better than chipotle! Love their tortilla soup! Wish we had more in California!

Food was great but the potions are way too much, the food was made sloppy and the burritos were so large that they split apart. Luckily I worked as a manager at Qdoba for years and knew how to fold my own burrito after asking for a steamed tortilla. The girl rolling the burritos could have given a shit less about her quality of rolling. These people all need re trained. Worst Qdoba I’ve ever been to service wise and pretty dirty behind the counter. I can’t believe corporate hasn’t been here yet and put boots to asses.

This qdoba location is like a sad bird with a broken wing. It’s dying a slow painful death. This place is screaming for new management and friendlier employees. They couldn’t seem more miserable adding queso to my burrito and asking if I wanted a drink.

Always fast always friendly. Today I tried some of the new knockout tacos they offer. Got the bohemian veg loaded with cheese, black beans, corn, verde salsa, fresh cilantro, guac and topped with cojita cheese. Delicious!

Very frustrating experience. Really poor communication from the staff. Burrito artists behind counter would mumble and then act annoyed when you couldn’t understand them. And if they are indeed burrito artists, mine must have studied under Jackson Pollock.

Of all the places to be a regular customer in college, I have become a regular at this particular Qdoba. I must’ve come here every weekend for an entire school since I live across the street. The staff is friendly for a chain restaurant – the lady who runs the place told me to skip the line once because she knows that I only get chips and queso during the week. Once, I got a free drink from one of the staff because I had to wait through a line of drunken partiers for chips and queso. I guess the gist of this review was that I like chips and queso, and Chipotle doesn’t have queso, so I end up here a lot. And that’s fine. The quesadillas are also good with rice on them(mmm carbs) so try that out sometime. But they’re not great without cheese, which happened to me once, so make sure to get queso on your dilla.

It is odd to be the ‘Yelp Dutchess’ or whatnot of Qdoba and still be giving it a single star. Maybe I need have higher standards for myself? My problems with Qdoba are not the food, which I really like as fast food goes — tasty, reasonably priced and yummy lime tortilla chips make me happy when I’m too busy for anything else. The problem is the staff. The very, very slow staff who frankly rank as some of the least happy service workers I’ve ever seen. No greeting, you know, ever. People who yell at you if you break out a Qdoba rewards card DON’T SWIPEITNOW!(because apparently its hooked up to a nuclear detonator on set to ‘swipe card before cashier is ready’). This weekend we opted to go online and order in advance in the hopes of avoiding the kind of human interaction that make the staff so dang grumpy. Order online, head down there to pick it up and… nothing. Nadda. Food isn’t ready and, wait for it… there is not a single customer in line. Go to register and ask and they are working on it(bear in mind, its a burrito and two tacos). They get three groups of 2 or 3 people. Wait on them. Still no food for us. Wait 20 minutes. When no one is in the store ‘can we have the food now?’ to the manager and we get a ‘we’re working on it!’. Yeah, so apparently they were working on screwing it up with the wrong meat in tacos, none of the veggies we asked for and a whole lot of attitude. Hard to believe they have worse personalities on the internet than in real life. Also, there’s a Chipotle on 21st… go there.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE qdoba. However, I will NEVEREVER again make the mistake of returning to this awful location! First of all, I noticed the parking lot is unusually dimly lit for a place that’s open late. Second, an actual employee was about to engage in a physical altercation in the parking lot as I was entering the building. Next, employees were moving very slowly, and the food line was absolutely disgusting! None of it even looked appetizing! There was spillage everywhere, and the food did not look fresh. The employees, for lack of a better word, were very ghetto. Absolute trash. They were disorganized and inconsiderate. I’m very let down by the service, quality of food, and cleanliness of the restaurant. Whoever is running that establishment should be ashamed.

Terrible customer service. I walked in around 5 pm on a Tuesday. It took about 2 min for anyone behind the counter to even acknowledge me(I was the only customer at the time too). The person preparing my food rushed through the order and didn’t really ask me what I wanted on my burrito. She put my food at the register and told me to wait for someone to check me out while she went to prepare other orders. It took a good 5 minutes I actually get checked out. In the meantime, another employee behind the counter was throwing chicken on a grill and then another came out talking on his cell phone. Cell phone guy takes one look at the customers and then walks back into the kitchen to finish his call before coming out several minutes later to ring up my order. The food was ok, but the service ruined the experience. Maybe another shift with different employees would be different.

Comfort Food Late at Night! This one is located inside the Vanderbilt campus(technically the university is intertwined into the city) and you can actually see the big Vandy sign out the window. They have plenty of parking, although I’ve gone mostly at late night hours. One thing for sure, this place is busy. Even at like 1 in the morning, there is plenty of people on the line inside to make an order. But they seem to have fast service. I’ve always ordered online and just skipped the line. The service seems friendly to me, but I also never really had to stand there and make orders. I think one time, I ordered food, but they closed earlier than the time mentioned on the website, but they opened it up when I got there to give me the food. I don’t think the main website hours are completely accurate, so if it’s late on a Thursday to Saturday night, might want to call before making the trek there. I’m vegetarian for the most part, so obviously not talking about the meat options. The food is definitely a large portion. A burrito is huge, and definitely weighs a good amount. This is food baby type stuff, that may cause you to loosen up your belt by a few notches afterwards. The burrito has some nice flavors, plenty of cheese, and the sauces definitely add flavors. I also love the ability to make combinations with a variety of options as fillings instead of being pigeonholed into certain toppings, so that’s always a plus. Albeit, this is true for a lot of burrito bars. I also like the quesadilla at this place, although I have to add in the special comments section for an option to add beans to the dish. I think the beans add very good flavor to go with the cheese. The chips and dip are pretty good, I’m just not sure if it’s worth the money as the same as other options. I like it, but it being the same price makes me go away from it, feel like I’m not getting that much value out of it. It does taste good though. The place has pretty good seating as well, so most of the time, it shouldn’t be a problem getting a seat. I think the main attraction here is the late hours that they are open especially towards the weekends. I think the only downside is that it’s located near a police trap zone on West End, so be very light on the accelerator no matter how hungry you are. I think I would recommend this place to most people for some late night food.

Yay drunk food! This particular location stays open until 5am and is conveniently located near the midtown & downtown bar scene. At 4am your choices are pretty limited: Jack in the box, Wendy’s, Paradise Park… For taco lovers, this is your only option. So late last night after all the booze, my tummy demanded tacos. Chipotle & Moe’s serve higher quality food so during normal business hours, I wouldn’t visit Qdoba, but their crispy tacos hit the spot while intoxicated. Be prepared for a 25 minute line at 3:45am. As the bar scene wines down, you won’t be the only one craving grease.

Not so Friendly staff and good burritos not expensive at all. The location has lots of parking although the exterior comes off as a little dirty the inside is always very clean and comfortable. Love the queso! The hours of being open all night long is great for late night cravings :)

This is the largest Qdoba I have ever seen, located right by Vanderbilt University. It is open until the wee hours of the morning, serving breakfast after midnight. A solid choice for quick eats, especially late night. Not the cleanest place around, but hey, they’re open.

Four considerations: 1) Seems like you get less meat than the alternatives(Moes and Chipolte). Also Moes and Chipolte are relatively close. One is about 3 minutes away and the other is about 7 minutes away(both on West End). 2) Kinda messy at a non-peak hour. 3) Not the nicest Qudoba I’ve been too(as in well run and quality food) 4) Water leak in the corner. Ewww… It will probably be a long, long time before I come back.

Weekend late-night 1,500 calorie awesomeness with a side of regret the next morning. I don’t normally rate chain restaurants, but this Qdoba caters to those who failed bringing home a lady friend from Tin Roof where you can settle for a close second of a queso breakfast burrito mixed with home fries, sausage, salsa rojo, pico, and more cheese. They are open crazy late on the weekends.

It is a solid burrito place best frequented late at night after a night out on the town. But, I have had a few dinners here and the food is always consistent. I hate the pricing scheme, since it’s like $ 7 for some damn queso and chips, but eh, it is on the card. The restaurant area is a little messy, in a way that is unsettling enough to comment on it here. Don’t expect any kosher or health standards to be in mind here. But, at least the food is cheap. If it comes off the card, I wouldn’t stop by here, but as long as they are on the Vandy card, students will always be at the Q.

OK… for late night food options, I admit it right now… I want some Taco Bell. When they created the verde salsa, my head exploded. But I digress, the BF went to Vanderbilt, and I swear there is some kind of Vandy bond that goes with Qdoba… maybe it’s nostalgia, but he swears by the late night Qdoba visit. Anywho, I lost the Taco Bell battle with him and we went to Qdoba on Sunday night. I had a small«naked» chicken burrito bowl and the tortilla soup. The burrito bowl was pretty tiny but tasted OK. I very much enjoyed the habanero salsa. it had a very nice kick to it, and I appreciate that! The soup was tasty as well and I left not feeling too full which I guess is a good and bad thing. Food was fine, but I couldn’t help but wonder what all I could have bought at Taco Bell for $ 7.00… Let the late night Mexican food battle continue!

I love the food here but I will never ever go back to this location. I was going through the line and one of the employees started slopping things on my plate in the most careless way– you could tell he either hated his sad life serving here or he was just having a bad day. Maybe his cat died? I’ll try to give him the benefit of the doubt but when you are a customer service representative you need to be professional and leave that shit at home. Anyway– when we got to the salsas I asked him which one was mild(because I don’t go to Qdoba every damn day I didn’t know) and he said«You can have any of this», which was confusing because I was asking for a type of salsa so I replied that I wanted the mild one. I don’t know if he was ignoring me or couldn’t hear me but he repeated«you can have any of this». I stared at him blankly and I think he was getting stressed out that a line was forming behind me and he violently pointed to my options and raised his voice and said«this, this, this or this!» COMPLETELY missing my point– I was asking what each type of salsa was! He was so belligerent it was unbelievable! He hurt my feelings to the point where I almost started crying, he made me feel dumb. Which is the worst type of costumer service. He threw my food to the cashier and she was pissed too– she gave me and my boyfriend free drinks because of how rude he was being(you could tell she was embarrassed) but she couldn’t really do much about it. WHEREWASTHEMANAGER?! My meal should have been free. I hope they fired him.
