Pizza Hut

This is a Pizza Hut, so for the most part you know what you’re getting in regard to the food. Like it or leave it. This review focuses more so on this Pizza Hut location’s customer service which has always been exceptional, for me at least. I typically carry out and am always promptly greeted (or given a polite «be right there!» from the kitchen). Even when you can see that the kitchen is incredibly busy, whoever comes to the counter always brings a smile. They also treat their customers well — any time my order is delayed or wrong (which rarely happens), they are quick to offer a sincere apology and sometimes offer an extra item or discount. I’ve been coming to this location for a few months now — between the convenience, decent quality of food and efficient/​polite staff, I’ll keep giving them my business.

I wish that I had read Unilocal before I ordered a pizza here. First they told me it would be 90 minutes for a delivery, it seemed a bit much but I wasn’t in a hurry.
After 90 minutes passed and I had not gotten my pizza I noticed that I had a missed call on my phone. It was the delivery driver. I’ll never know what he wanted to say because I called him back at least 5 times and he would never answer his phone. At the same time I began trying to call the Pizza Hut store location but they never picked up either. I probably called them 5 times as well.
My biggest issue was the fact that I had prepaid for this pizza when I ordered it. When someone at the store finally answered they looked up my order and put me on hold for five minutes.
They then came back and said that it had been changed to a canceled status and claimed I had «changed my mind». I assume the delivery driver changed it to this status since he never made it to my house.
They did not offer to rectify the situation and I had to ask that they refund my money. This is hands down the worst Pizza Hut store in Nashville.

I will echo the others — showed up yesterday to pick up an order, two employees outside smoking, one delivery driver pulled up and walked in, waited about five minutes before anyone noticed me inside.
The door really just needs something that makes a sound to alert the staff that there’s someone inside to remedy the waiting, however the twin towers of smoking actually made the front door area reek. I mean, I’ve survived the Villager without getting as much fragrance. Simple fix here is don’t smoke near the front door. Also perhaps notice if someone hasn’t been helped, even if it is your break time.
The product — not the greatest version of Pizza hut I’ve had, but consistent.
Also quick note to another reviewer — if you say that someone was stoned (allegedly) you’re indicating that someone alleged that they were stoned. As you’re the one alleging it, no. That’s not how you use that word.

Slowest. Carryout. Ever! Unacceptable. I highly advise going to a different location.

Wow seriously bad service. When I walked in no one came to the front counter for quite a bit of time. I could hear them chatting in the back so I figured eventually someone would come out– most of the staff was actually outside smoking cigarettes and playing with a stray dog paying no mind to what was happening inside.
Girl behind the counter finally arrives, red faced and stoned (allegedly), ask her a question and she stares at you like you’ve just spoken in Swahili… Pizza took around half an hour.
Luckily it looks like they’re hiring so maybe this is all a case of being grossly understaffed or hilariously staffed with all the wrong people.

OH PIZZA HUT. If only there was a 0 star option. I am 2.5 miles away and you have the audacity to deny me the American right and privilege of pizza delivery TO MY DOORSTEP? Unfortunate. I was rooting for you.

Pizza Hut is Pizza Hut. I only go every now and then for my hubby. He loves their pizza. I am okay with it, which means I can eat it but NOT MY FAVORITE. I do like this location because it is convenient for pickup between home and work.
We recently tried the new Cheese and Bacon stuffed crust pepperoni pizza, it was pretty good. My hubby and daughter enjoyed it more. I ended up feeding my crust to my puppy dog, she liked it more than I did.

Friendliest service I’ve had in a looooooong time! Thank you for the wonderful lunch today!
