How do you call this place a library? It’s very small. I don’t even think Bellevue is this small. It has so few books that I think I may have more myself. It’s cramped, in spite of that, and customer service is very mediocre. I don’t like to go here, but it’s relatively close to my work, and it offers wifi, so sometimes it’s just a necessity. If you’re the kind of person who likes to borrow books, and don’t mind waiting for them to be delivered, it works since it’s close to lots of parts of South Nashville, but if you want a library experience, go Green Hills to the West, Main DT to the North, or Edmunson to the South: they all blow this location away.

I’ve been avoiding this library for as long as possible because of the location but I had a few things that I needed to print and my printer was down. I went around 3pm which apparently is a bad time to go since traffic on Thompson Ln is pretty busy. This library is small. I mean really, really small. While waiting for a computer(which took me about 45 minutes) I tried to pass the time by looking at their books. There’s hardly anything to look at because of how small the location is. I was done in less than 10 minutes. The staff was friendly in answering my questions about signing up for a computer, printing and downloading ebooks. There was barely a place to sit while waiting which made it kind of awkward because I wasn’t wanting to stand in the front and stare the poor girl down who was at the computer I reserved. I give this library 2 stars for the staff and for the plain fact that it’s a library. The Edmondson library isn’t too much farther from me and it’s much bigger and nicer. I’ll stick with that location from now on.
