Sunday morning, arrived about 830 and seated immediately. Lucas(A-1 server and menu tour guide) provided hot biscuits, jams and recommendations. I ordered steak biscuits and my wife ordered BBQ pork, scrambled eggs and grits. The steak biscuits were great, steak cooked as ordered. My wife’s food excellent, BBQ pork the best BBQ on the trip… portion size suitable for Vince Wilfork or other huge dude… BBQ served on excellent corn cakes… she also raved about the grits. We left around 930 and the waiting area and porch were packed.

Fun! I’ve lived in Nashville for years but had never visited this Nashville icon — famous for its wonderful biscuits and homemade country style fare. The server made you feel like a special guest, the fried chicken was everything hoped for — crunchy perfectly spiced breading, tender juicy and delectable on the inside. Wonderful piping hot biscuits, jam so good I bought a $ 10 jar to take home(it’s worth it!) we we too full to have desert. But had a nice cup coffee over more biscuits. Plan ahead the wait can be crazy. Cheers.

We visited the Loveless café while visiting Nashville and im definitely glad we did. It was on a busy Sunday lunch time so there was about a 40 minute wait. We used this time to visit the surrounding shops. We were seated and brought biscuits and assorted jams and butter. The biscuits were warm and flaky and delicious. Very buttery and flaky. We ordered our meals… I got the BLT with a fried green tomato on it, hashbrown casserole, mac and cheese, and I got an ala carte fried green tomato and pimento cheese biscuit. The BLT was yummy and the fried green tomato done well. Nothing really exceptional about the bacon or anything else on the sandwich. The hashbrown casserole was as good as my own, which I hold in the highest regard. The mac and cheese was ok. Nothing exceptional about it. The pimento cheese and fried green tomato biscuit was the hit of the whole meal. I will order this again next time and will order just this item alone. It was the best thing of the whole meal. The boyfriend got a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, and gave me his hashbrown casserole. Everything was cooked to perfection and everything was the appropriate temperature. Service here is friendly and accommodating. You never have to ask for a refill or more biscuits. Our server on this trip was Lucas. He was very personable, funny, accommodating and efficient.

I visited the Loveless Café last year when I was in the Nashville area, so when I got the mail order catalog, I thought I’d try some products. First, I ordered the peppered bacon as my boyfriend LOVES black pepper on everything. I was worried it would be too peppery for my taste, but we both agreed it was delicious! Great smoky flavor. Next, I ordered the biscuit mix and I was disappointed that the biscuits didn’t rise. I followed the directions, except I used regular milk instead of buttermilk, but I didn’t think that would affect their rising. I’ll try them again, but I was really hoping for the fluffy biscuits I had had in TN! Next, we had the country sausage-OH MY! THEBEST! I’m not even much of a sausage person and I loved it. Very good quality and taste and worth the price. Next, I ordered the piggy popcorn(and I don’t share!) Yum, yum! Great snack! Lastly, the bacon truffles. Bacon and chocolate, you ask? They were good, but not as good as I hoped for. Overall, I highly endorse the pork products and if you are ever in Nashville, make sure to stop by and see all the photos of the famous people that have been there before you!
