Not very popular, i dont know why but I really love this place despite the fact that they have many bashers and haters. Well now, what I really love here at knock out is their cajun chicken sandwich, its very delicious, sometime you’ll get that extra warm sandwhich and its so good. Would come back here again.

I liked that spot until the quality of my food and service changed drastically! Yesterday evening I ordered 12 Cajun wings, and stated eating it while I was driving. I realized that it was cold, and didn’t taste at all like what I had ordered. Once I turned on the light, I then saw that it was the wrong name on the ticket, and that it had been cooked 6.5 hours earlier in the day. On top of that, I went back to get my order and it was of poor quality. The wings had only been coated with Cajun spice on one side, so that left the other like just plain fried chicken. Talking about one angry brother, I was him!

Ordered through a delivery service and it took almost one hour to receive order. According to tracking, driver waited for20+ minutes at restaurant for food to be prepared. Food was hot when it arrived. The flavor of the wings was very good it’s just too bad they were so over cooked. Meat so hard it couldn’t chew it. Biscuits had an interesting flavor but so tender they fell apart into crumbs trying to pick them up. Final comment: taste was good, quality was not.

Phone service still sucks. Picked up phone says nothing puts phone down hears everything in the back ground. Had to hang up call again. This time ahe ask me to hold and i did but instead of placing me on hold she hung up. Ok no biggie i call back i place my order after taking my order u know the norm is to say it be ready by… But no i tell her what i wanted then she say«can i get ur name» i tell her my name and she say ok then hang up… Smdh… I swear if it wasn’t for the cooks i could not come here but i think im going to have to step back some.

Ordered through a delivery service so I am unable to comment on the atmosphere. I ordered 6 wings and Cajun fries — 3BBQ and 3 country. Unfortunately, my order was messed up and I did not receive the country style OR the fries. BBQ was tasty, but a little too saucy for me. It was drenched and a hot mess to enjoy. I’m a little disappointed that the receipt did say country and fries, but was unable to try them. The absolutely best part about this place were the honey biscuits. They were perfectly baked with delicious honey sweetness topped the biscuit. I would say order a dozen of these and go to town.

The biscuits yes with the honey butter … The chicken not so much… This place is a hit or miss on chicken… The chicken I had yesterday was fried way too hard that I couldn’t even eat it… Moistness what moistness nothing but crispy chicken inside and out which could really damage ur teeth and gums… The flavor and spicy is there but I can’t just order and pay for chicken to lick the sauce off

3 stars. Yep. Customer service screwed the ratings. Food was decent but I think the workers need retraining on customer service skills. I’ll leave it here for now.

Best wings and biscuits in town!!! Great desserts too. If you want some delicious, greasy food this is the spot to be.

The absolute WORST customer service on the phone. I was left on hold for over 10 minutes twice and they never came back to take the order. Tried to call 19 other times and it was busy. They have their system, CC processing and phone all on the same line… very inefficient business. They have no menu online either. I chose to order from them over all the others based on their recent wing contest win. I won’t anymore. I only support businesses that understand how to operate effectively and efficiently and that offer good customer service.

I phoned in a carry out order on today… First I was on hold for 10 minutes, then they hung up on me after asking if I could hold. The females that answer the phone have no customer service skills. Don’t offer their names and sound like robots when you ask a question. I was a frequent customer… As if today I am a former customer!!! Rudeness will lose you money EVERYDAY! So long…

Just got invited to this place by a friend. The variety of choices is tempting. I ordered the whiting fish combo with cajun seasoned french fries and lg. sweet tea.($ 6.70) Every thing was fresh and the tea was the best i’d had in a while. All in all I would visit again, area of jefferson was fine as it was close to farmers market and in a good location.

If you’re a TSU/Fisk/Meharry student and you want hot wings, this is your place to go. Great wings and cajun fries. And the biscuits… GREATNESS. I always order 2 extra biscuits.

The hot wings are seriously… no, dangerously HOT. I felt the heat and I was getting really red! Homemade Biscuit was BOMB. Omg, I’m drooling… I might consider getting some more when i’m in nashville again. I got the meal and it was served with fries and a choice of sweet tea or fountain soda. I got the sweet tea. It got that hint of lemon/lime in it. taste like nestea. But I heard they made their tea so I’m not sure.

Get off your butt and get yourself a wing combo with Cajun fries, extra-hot sauce, and at least two extra honey biscuits, which are perhaps the most perfectly constructed food item on the planet. Sometimes I zone out and start salivating just at the though of KO wings. A+ one of the ten best restaurants in Nashville.

Coming from someone whose experience with wings in the past is mostly Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, I have to admit that because of them I usually order the chicken tenders when given the choice. However, since I joined a group of guys today who are out to find the best wings in Nashville, I decided that I should play along. Boy, am I ever glad that I did! These wings were awesomely tasty! On the menu, the BBQ is actually Honey BBQ, which is what we ordered. They’re messy, but oh-so-worth-it for the flavor. The wings were cooked to perfection, not dry or underdone. The vibe of the place is that the people working there really do care about their customers. As first-time orderers, I felt like they were patient and answered questions without irritation. The food is made to order, so there is a slight wait but not unreasonable. I gathered from the way the orders were coming out that they make a huge batch of wings at a time then put the orders together, because they would ‘knock out’ several orders at one time. Highly recommended to check out, especially if you’re like me and your experience with wings has been national chains. Give these local guys a try! Oh, and the honey biscuits really are worth their proclaimed«famous» title. For real!

Knock Out Wings was our third stop in the Winter Wingathon. It’s not much to look at with its strange boxing gloved chicken(how is a chicken going to wear boxing gloves?), and the GPS took us down a back alley saying it was a road(Wing, wing, nudge, nudge) but we got there okay. Parking is fairly decent but it can get to be a bit of a tight squeeze because people will park behind you on the edge of the lot in such a way you have to back out and make sure you don’t try and drive thru them. The food came pretty quickly, though not as quickly as the group of us who got there almost at 11. It seems like it fills up pretty quickly and near as we could tell there were two people making the wings and one person working the register. It got very busy, but they *were* knocking out some wings. Now, lets talk about the food. First of all, I accidentally ordered the tea. I’m not much for tea usually, but this was absolute. What’s that word for a happy accident?(asks Google) Serendipity! The tea is delicious! very sweet(maybe too sweet for some) with a nice touch of lemon. We ordered a 16 piece combo with a side of Cajun Fries to share. Each order comes with a honey roll, and they were kind enough to give us two. In fact, without even asking, they split the order into two 8s with a roll for each. So extra points for consideration. The honey sauce on the wings was fantastic, and the wings were cooked just right. The Cajun fries were hot, but not TOO hot, so the better half could eat them and not be uncomfortable. The booths were a bit tight, especially for the girth-some(Hey, I review food, so I’m not shy about it), and by the time 11:30 or so rolled around it was hopping, but Knock Out Wings delivered a KO in my book. I certainly recommend it for anyone looking for some really great wings.
