If you’re zoned to this school I seriously feel for you. This is the worst of the worst. I’m not exactly sure what the counseler’s job is here except to tell parents «I’m not sure» or «I wish I could tell you more». From what I was told, schedules are reserved for the kids out of district and the children that are zoned get stuck with what’s left. If your child is in advanced classes… well they don’t have enough teachers or classes to accommodate. Halfway through the year and we’ve put in our applications in a few magnet schools. If that doesn’t pan out then homeschooling it is because Glencliff isn’t even an option for my family.
