Germantown Pub

I’ve been for lunch a couple of times and once in the early evening and have been super pleased each time. The staff is very friendly and the food is really good. The wings were really fresh. I had the Germantown sauce and it is highly recommend.
Go for the lunch special. It’s a real bargain considering I don’t even think they change the portion size between the special and the regular menu. Give them a try, is worth it. And this neighborhood really needs a spot like this.

We went to Germantown Pub for trivia night. So — I’m a bit of a trivia snob. And the trivia at Germantown Pub seems like it might be just getting off its feet, because it was a bit disorganized and a bit slow (but still fun — it’s trivia after all)!
Now to the Pub! Food was pretty typical bar food options. Beer options are okay, but it doesn’t have the great beer options! Service was pretty good.
All in all — it was a lot of fun to hang here with friends, but it wasn’t a place I’d go back to! Just a typical bar!

Excited to have Germantown pub in the neighborhood ! There’s so many restaurants popping up in the area, this place is low key & not pricey. I come here when I want a quick drink & to catch a game or two .
The only take away from this place is the consistency. I understand it’s a new business so there’s things to learn along the way. I LOVE ginger beer. I feel like every bar should have it. I’m a bit let down when told otherwise. Call me bratty lol. My first visit I asked for several different drinks, they didn’t have certain components to make it. My last resort was a Washington Apple. Well the server brought me a green apple martini –_​-​. Hmmmm how do you mess that up ?
On to the food. It’s your typical bar food. I’ve had the shrimp po boy. The shrimp was overcooked & tough. My second or third visit I ordered the wings. They were delicious ! Cooked with just the right amount of crispness & Cajun seasoned .
I came here the other night & asked for a Pinot noir, I didn’t get specific because I knew where I was. Well, they didn’t have it, so she suggested Merlot or cab. I told her cab … Wellll … She comes back & they didn’t have that either. Hmmm at this point I just wanted wine stat. I asked for Pinot Grigio, comes back & says they’re out but they have Chardonnay. She brings me the glass. I take a sip & it’s actually Riesling lol. I couldn’t do anything but laugh. Sigh … I’m sure I’ll come here again. I really hope the drink selection gets better ASAP.

Came in Sunday to watch the end of a football game. Service was excellent. Wings were excellent. Also had the philly chicken sandwich to go which was spot on.

I love the food!!! Great place to watch the games and the location is near, so it’s walking distance to Germantown.

Horrible experience. The service was awful (it took our waitress 3 tries to get our order correct) and the bar had barely anything available beer wise. Making things worse, the pub forgot the food order and after our first round of drinks we never saw a server again. We won’t be back.

We stopped by late to check it out… just had couple drinks but the staff really impressed me!!!
They were very friendly, local business oriented and always on top of everything we needed!
Nice but laid back… Good local bar!!!

The pub is nice & clean and offers reasonable priced meals that are delicious. A coworker and I stopped in here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised that there is a decent restaurant close to the Metro Center complex where we work. He had the Tilapia sandwich — and it was «bad ass» as he described it. The veggies on the food were high quality and flavorful. I selected the club sandwich — it was also good. Both meals came with a plate full of fries to compliment — neither of us could finish all of it.
I recommend you give this restaurant a try — we need places like this in the neighborhood!

Nothing was available on tap, but they had great deals during happy hour. We had the fried shrimp poboy and the French burger — both were «pretty alright.» No complaints, but I’ve had a few better in Nashville. Service was great, and this is definitely a great, low key addition to Germantown.

Great place to get cheap good food and reasonably priced drinks, which is impossible to find in the neighborhood

Tasty food– I had the club sandwich which was hearty and in no way bland. Slaw and fries were good too.
2 for 1 beers from 11 – 7 daily I believe. Glad to have this new joint in the neighborhood!
Friendly staff, too!

My family and I stopped by Germantown Pub just to check it out since they recently opened. We were not disappointed! The staff were exceptionally friendly and our server, Reita was top notch. The happy was 2 for 1 bottled beer (yes all bottled beers), house wine, and well liquor. The food was also very good. The atmosphere was great, with a variety of different types of music playing and several different sporting events on the several televisions. We will definitely be going back!

Staff: super friendly and welcoming
Parking: valet (tip based and very nice) or street
Menu: great looking (came for happy hour before a sounds game so didn’t have time to eat)
Drinks: happy hour is half priced well drinks and beer (no draft, just bottle)
Atmosphere: old school sports — very cool
All around it was a great experience. Definitely a place that I will go to often in the Germantown area.

This establishment is easily noticeable from a block away. The orange is a UT orange so in orange country you can’t go wrong. Clean establishment and helpful service. First time here so I hope this spot can stay in business and provide something unique for the Germantown area.
