Four M and M

I nearly gave this place five stars just for its drive-​through. That’s right – they have a drive-​through! Nothing could be more fantastic for a pathetic, addicted smoker such as myself than a drive-​up window where you simply tell the guy your brand, pay and drive off! You never have to get out of your car! Brilliant.
But all in all, it’s a pretty junky little tobacco/​beer joint like all the others. They have the cigarettes and beer you’d expect for prices that are reasonable. They have a $ 5 minimum if you want to pay with a card, and the area is a tiny bit shady, but it’s not too bad. This part of 12 South used to be a lot worse than it is. Every once in a while, you can still see the little person (dwarf?) actor that was in the movie «Gummo» hanging around outside of Four M & M. He used to practically live there.
Anyway, it’s no sketchier than most similar shops, and at least you won’t have to get out of your car! It’s a novel idea, so I thought I’d at least plug the place.
