Eclectic Nashville

Every time I travel, I seek out little shops like this– filled wall to wall with locally made art, jewelry, etc. So how do I miss out on a gem like this two minutes from my home?
I get a contact high from looking at intricate, handmade crafts. And I have a serious addiction to tiny jewelry. This shop has a good variety of items for sale, from artwork to accessories to furniture. I ended up with a pair of earrings, though I might have to come back for a couple other items that were calling my name.

I absolutely have to smile each time that I walk into Eclectic Nashville. I mean, how could you not?
Owners Cass & Martin Hickman are a dynamic team (and their baby daughter is pretty durn adorable too) who offer beautiful wares and services out of this retail space nestled amongst the strip of shops on Porter Road. (same strip as the restaurant Pomodoro) You can find an eclectic mix of home goods, furniture, art, fixtures, and gifts stocked here. The merchandising of goods is done expertly so don’t forget that the furniture is also for sale!
I fell in love with a gorgeous farm style dining table and light fixture on my first visit. My friend couldn’t take his eyes off a vintage green chair either. This is a fabulous spot to pick up unique pieces of furniture. Not in the market for interior design? You can still score heavenly candles, jewelry, and gift items here too. I picked up a darling tea towel with the words «Yum» sprawled on it for a foodie friend. The only damage was $ 12 to my pocketbook. Not too shabby…
Overall, prices are very affordable here.
Eclectic Nashville can also design new pieces or paint or refurbish your existing furniture to give it a breath of fresh air.
I was eye-​balling a rustic light fixture and was informed that Martin actually crafted it himself! I’d say it’s safe to say, these two can definitely help with your home décor!

I came in today to check out the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The owner, Cass, was so super helpful and friendly. She gave me lots of tips on how to use my new chalk paint. Can’t wait to start on my furniture painting project! I will definitely return here and recommend this store to friends.
