I had high hopes for this place because of the great Unilocal reviews. Unfortunately, I was very let down. I ordered the egg dish with fried green tomatoes, pimiento cheese and hashbrown casserole. The hashbrown casserole was not nearly as good as the kind that I make at home. The eggs and tomatoes were cold and bland. On top of that, it took 30 minutes for us to receive our To-Go order — defeating the purpose of getting it to go. It was also really awkward– we could hear the kitchen staff arguing the entire time while waiting for our food. I have a feeling it has high reviews purely based on the fact that this area has a very limited supply of any good food. We will be staying on the East side for brunch in the future.

The sandwiches are ok and all, but the best thing here is the She Crab soup. Holy moly it’s to die for and made the way it should be. Lots of generous chunks of crab, rich and creamy and a touch of sherry. You can get it to go in multiple sized containers. Another winner is the unique vanilla bean lemonade. It’s really different, but really good. They have a lot of desserts, and especially a lot of gluten free desserts. Everything has been pretty tasty. I appreciate the ritz crackers with pimento cheese and jelly for the complimentary starter. It’s a cute lunch spot, but gets busy. Looks like they’ve added a coffee shop next door, which has made the parking even worse. They did add a valet, which seems a bit overkill for that area, however there are signs out for reserved parking for nearby businesses. Go early to avoid the crowds.

My first reaction to Crumb de la Crumb was, «how have I not been here before?» This place rocks! Everything I tried was great but the service was extremely slow.

Crumb de la Crumb was bravely open today, despite the Great Blizzard of 2016. We braved the snow because we had to get out of the house, and we were in for a delicious treat. They brought us pimento cheese covered in jelly and ritz crackers as a complimentary dish. It sounds odd, but it was so tasty! I tasted my husband’s capuccino, it was perfect. We both had the«East Nashville,» an open faced sandwich with egg, bacon, chèvre, and a side of pimento grits. It was a large portion of perfection. I was 100% satisfied. I couldn’t resist ordering a piece of chocolate strawberry ganache cake to go. I didn’t make it out of the restaurant before I busted into it and ate half. It was soooo rich, moist, and addictive! Wow! We will definitely come back. This is a great spot and despite being short staffed, they were attentive and sweet. Loved it!

Great local food. Limited parking options and subpar front counter service are both a bit of a negative, but the actual dining service and food are always excellent.

Best place in Nashville by far. Anything on the menu is on point. Quiche? Perfect. Soups are to die for!!! And I love their tea menu. I’m going to continue to go there above any other café in Nashville.

Known for their crab soup it was average. Found lots of crab shell in it. Pimento cheese was average and I could mKe better tuna than them. Also, terrible waiter service. For the taste and the size of meal, this place is over priced. Would not come back, rather go to City Limits down the street(100x better).

Excellent little sandwich shop hidden in Bellevue. Crab cakes and She Crab Soup are standouts, but the baked goods for desert are the All Stars. Live music occasionally during lunch, and a great new adjoining gourmet Coffee Shop. Sometimes the service is a tad slow, but it’s worth the wait.

Since we didn’t eat, this is not a review of the food. It’s more a heads up. In all fairness, we ignored the cues because of the reviews. Told to expect a 5 to 10 minute wait we joined those sitting and standing in a small area shared with the cash register. Took us a while to realize there wasn’t a smile on a face; a sullen group. When a party of four was called and appeared from another area, another group asked«how did they get ahead of us?» The peevish«actually, WE’VE been waiting an hour» was another missed clue. After the 5 – 10 minute wait turned into 25 – 30, which can happen, we were seated. The couple next to us appeared to be finishing their coffee so we asked«How was breakfast?» They replied they had yet to have it after ordering 30 minutes before. Hmmmm, we’re catching on. Then we realized there was no food on any nearby table. A server buzzed by to tell us she would be with us shortly. Another 10 minutes passed. Finally, the light bulb came on. The kitchen was deep, deep in the weeds. Having another commitment, we chose to leave as politely and unobtrusively as possible. It seemed a minor inconvenience to the restaurant since the only things on the table were the menus we carried in ourselves and a listing of teas. Still, the hostess seemed a touch put out in spite of our having freed up another 2-top for them. As we were leaving, so was a party of four who had just arrived. Locals, they commented, «They’re slow when they’re not busy.» While we went because of the food reviews, we didn’t stay due to their issues, and ours. So, should you have nothing to do for a fairly considerable amount of time, you might give it shot. Just be prepared.

This restaurant is adorable. The décor looks like a shabby chic Pinterest page and the staff is super friendly. The food tastes fresh and delicious. I liked the trio option: chicken salad, soup & salad for $ 12. Not bad!

We had a bunch of issues with Crumb de La Crumb but because their cheesecake was the best cheesecake I have ever put in my mouth so I put up with it. The first issue was my fault because I forgot to reply that yes that time worked for me. We got there to cake taste for our wedding and they didn’t have any samples(again this was my fault) but she still sat down with us asked us what we wanted etc. Because we knew we wanted cheesecake we didn’t really need to try all other kinds of cake. Told me to stop by another day and they would have some samples. I did twice and they didn’t have any. At this time the place was renovating so it was chaotic for them I understand. But our cake was supposed to be delivered at 5 o’clock and it didn’t get there till about 5:30−45. I was told that the lady that was delivering it was rude. She didn’t leave the cake box for us so we had no way to get home to $ 200 worth of cheesecake. We also could not cut through the crust. With a cheesecake itself was amazing. Let me just say I ain’t too proud to eat pumpkin cheesecake out of a Ziploc bag! Just want people to know that they may be rougher around the edges but their product is really yummy.

Crumb de la Crumb is my favorite restaurant in Bellevue! The hospitality and warmth of the servant’s hearts is felt as soon as you walk in the door. And the food is to die for. It’s amazing what you can do tucked into a little nook in the heart of Bellevue. Trust me, it’s worth discovering.

Crumb de la Crumb is simply a delightful place, and it’s hands down my favorite restaurant in Bellevue. The staff is friendly and the food is good and fresh. Their dining area is cheerful and the assortment of mismatched chairs makes the place all the more charming. It’s also great spot to do work and they have free wifi. I recently ordered the East Nashville, which is a fried egg, goat cheese, avocado and bacon on flax bread, with a side of. I’ve also had the French toast with raspberry and goat cheese(yes, I’m a goat cheese addict) but I wasn’t super wow-ed by it. I’ve only been for breakfast but hoping to go back for lunch soon!

Oops I had written a review for the wrong place! So disregard previous review. I know this place is popular in Bellevue but honestly I think it’s just okay. The coffee is good(I like the maple latte) but the menu isn’t clear and the desserts aren’t usually very fresh. Maybe I’ve just had a bad experience but i’ll try it again!

LOVE the food at Crumb de la Crumb. For lunch my favorites are the chicken salad sandwich and the Dressed Avocado Salad. They are both so fresh, and great size portions. Also the breakfast here is great. Love the menu and the food is always good. The only thing I could even complain about at all– is the service. It is a little slow. But since the food is so good, I still eat here very often.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Nashville. That’s right– not just Bellevue, but Nashville! Their chunky avocado salad is by far the best salad I’ve ever eaten. I can never decide what to get because everything is so good. I usually end up getting the luau sandwhich and I’m never disappointed. The staff is so friendly and the food is always instagrammable. The prices are great and it’s always hard to leave without buying a lemon square. I hope to see this restaurant around for a long time!

I can’t overstate how much I love Crumb De La Crumb’s café. This is my go-to, absolute favorite lunch spot in all of Tennessee. I live in Mt Juliet but travel the 30 miles to Bellevue to indulge in the delightful fare. My personal favorite? Charleston She Crab soup and chicken salad on a croissant. Heaven I tell you, heaven! If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you’re seriously missing out. Go now! Reason for an imperfect review: Two things. 1. The check out process is usually very time consuming. I normally wait 5 – 10 minutes in line before being able to pay my bill and leave. You have to go up front and pay which is fine but usually, the patrons in line are slowly picking out different desserts to purchase at the same time. There’s only one cashier, usually the same lady. I don’t know her name but she always seems down or unhappy. Which is always frustrating because the servers are usually very sweet and helpful. 2. I wrote a review several years ago on their old Unilocal name«The Cottage Café», but they have since changed their official name to Crumb De La Crumb to keep in sync with the dessert side of their business. Maybe I’ve always had bad luck with the desserts but I’ve tried many of the bars and cupcakes and always found a serious fault with them. For instance, a red velvet cupcake I had was extremely dry(like it had been baked a few days before) and the icing wasn’t as sweet as you’d hope for a cream cheese icing. TL;DR The café side is phenomenal but the check-out process and desserts are lacking.

I went to Crumb de la Crumb today for lunch with a friend. I got the vanilla bean lemonade. It’s quite unique! They brought out a few ritz crackers and a small cheese and pecan ball covered with jam for an appetizer. It was really good. I ordered the ultimate grilled cheese(bacon and pimento cheese on whole grain bread) and the lemon artichoke soup for my entrée. I’m really picky about bacon. I like it to be really crispy. I told the server this and debated on whether or not I should just order the plain pimento cheese sandwich without bacon so I could avoid disappointment. The server mentioned that the bacon is pre-cooked but that they could«nuke» it to make it crispy. When my meal came out, the bacon was floppy… The server asked if it was crispy enough as I was picking it off the sandwich. I told her it wasn’t, and she offered to have them«nuke» it again, but I told her I didn’t want to have to wait to eat my meal. She said, «Ok. Let me know if you change your mind. You’re paying for the bacon.» Not really sure why she couldn’t just charge me for the regular pimento cheese sandwich since that’s what I ended up eating, but I wasn’t going to argue over a couple dollars. The pimento cheese is homemade, and it is divine! The lemon artichoke soup was so-so. I saw several other things on the menu I wanted to try and the atmosphere is nice, so I am going to go back again. Maybe I just didn’t order the right thing this time.

This is an amazing place for lunch. I think this is probably the best crab cake i have had since my last trip to Maryland. The brownie and the pies are delicious.
