Sadly my meal wasn’t good got their signature dish of chicken and dumplings. Yuck. Bland and cold and absolutely looked like wall paper paste. Returned meal and got the buttermilk chicken Breast, not any better hard as a rock. Sides were good but probably won’t order any main dishes if I come here again.

Cracker Barrel is great and the food normally is wonderful. However this location has the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. They got smart when we asked how long our wait was and said well I guess if your wait is 45 mins and you’ve been here for 28 you still have a wait. Our friends were seated inside and they wouldn’t allow us to mingle or speak to them. They told us we couldn’t socialize!!! The staff is unbelievably unprofessional and ugly people.

I’m super disappointed by my experience here today. We arrived at approximately 11:20 and they were already on a wait. Ok, fine… 15 min later we got seated by a short dark haired woman who seemed extremely bothered that we actually had 3(as I told them from check in and which never changed) than 2 dining. After huffing off she returned with another silverware. Then we sat to study our menus. For about 10 minutes. Seriously, it was a good 10 minutes before we got a server to the table. Then she mumbled something and wandered off to get our drinks. After taking our meal order we did not see her again for ages. Another girl brought our order much of which was wrong. When we mentioned this she goes«Oh. Be right back» and simply wandered off leaving 2 of 3’of us with no food. Finally we got our food. But no soup. Our soup(you know, an app…) came out after our food was cold and/or almost all consumed. And the bill came and totaled almost $ 40. Really?!? Ripoff Cracker Barrel! Especially for the lack of care and service which we received. I can guarantee I will not be back to this location.

Pretty run of the mill Cracker Barrel experience, which is not a bad thing! We love going to cracker barrels all around the country, but we typically only order breakfast food and this was no exception. I ordered the classic ‘Mama’s pancake breakfast’, which comes with two eggs, a side of bacon or sausage, and three classic buttermilk pancakes(the waitress even gave me TWO bottles of maple syrup!). My lady friend got the new ‘healthy’ option which came with turkey bacon, egg beaters, and some type of parfait. The turkey bacon was like eating rubber and the egg beaters had virtually no taste. Definitely stay away from that option, but the traditional breakfast was delish!

Cracker Barrel always gives me a headache. There’s way too much going on in that store — whether it’s toys, scents, sounds… There’s just too much. I’ve been to this specific store a few times when family was passing through town. The meals are cheap(which is great for those who have a large group) and the food is average. I do like getting breakfast there because I feel like you really get your money’s worth. The service at this specific Cracker Barrel is good but beware of coming on weekends because the service slows down a lot.

I really do not mind waiting but when I am told that dinner will be in 35 minutes and we wait twice that long then I am not really a happy camper. Thanksgiving or not never overpromise and under deliver. We both ordered the turkey day special and both us of agree that we were eating for the sake of eating. One true disadvantage of travelling on this holiday for sure. Food quality was fair at best… Service was less than stellar. I think that this chain remains one of my go to restaurants for breakfast fare only…

Avoid this location period. I was seated and the previous tip was still on the table. After a long time finally ironically before we got up to leave a server finally came!!! We ordered I ordered a salad the spouse ordered roast beef. The roast beef came before my salad and the waitress«Debbie» was happy to sling it down before huffing & puffing, and walked away then my salad came. Most of the staff is super rude at this location we had at least 5 servers pass our table and never even acknowledge us. Like not even moving out of customer was but making the customer move. We heard the staff calling someone a b@&&@ unprofessional!!! These folks need to go to Charlotte Pike and train also so manners and respect would go a long way! If you’re hating your job get s new one I personally don’t care just do your damn job people!!! I’ve actually had an issue well it was food poison & Cracker Barrel didn’t care so I know this will also be of little concern, however avoid this location. The male servers seemed to be the only nice ones here.

It’s a Cracker Barrel; if you’ve used the interstate highway system in much of this country, you’ve driven by them hundreds of times. They all do Southern homestyle cooking, and there’s a ‘general store’ where you can buy old-fashioned candies, gifts, and other knick-knacks. The food is always better-than-average, especially for a chain(and especially at breakfast), and the service is usually prompt and friendly. Unless you go Sunday right after church, this particular location is pretty good about getting you seated quickly — I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for a table.

This was my second or third time here. It’s been a while, and it will be much longer before I return. Service was slightly less than«meh». And the restaurant must have been having an off day. Everyone loves the hashbrown casserole. Mine was HORRIBLE. It was old and dry and flavorless. Pancakes were rubbery. Did I mention the hashbrown casserole sucked? And to top it off, a waitress spilled a bottle of hot sauce and it splattered on my face and my new blue leggings. She said«Oh did it get you?» I confirmed. She picked the bottle up and walked away. Didn’t even offer to bring me a napkin or wet wipe. She just walked away. In summary: BOOOOOOO! If this restaurant’s performance was on a stage, I’ve have a bucket of tomatoes ready to throw.

When you think of the good olé southern cookin, you better be thinking about Cracker Barrel. Even as a child the Cracker Barrel always felt like home, and even now as an adult it still does. With great food, great prices, and excellent Southern Hospitality service I say this with PRIDE, «There’s NOPLACE like home». «Until next time America», this is Big Sid out.

The food here is reasonably priced and the service is pretty good considering how busy they are. Breakfast is probably your best bet and really cheap. It seems like on dinner and lunch the quality of the food has went down they run a lot of lunch and dinner specials so I think the cheaper prices have something to do with it. Also if you have kids figure in the cost of a toy when you come in my daughter never leaves without some stuffed animal. Their always busy but I never had to wait very long for my food.

NEVERAGAIN! I ordered lunch today from cracker barrel, just a cheeseburger and fries. Picked it up, paid, TIPPED… I came back to my office and my cheeseburger had bacon on it. If I was not allergic, this would be fine… I called back and the manager said he would make another, sure no problem. I get it, I checked this time and it was a cheeseburger. I get to my office, Starving at this point, Took a big bite and it was dripping BLOOD. Pretty sure I have E. Coli now. I attached a picture so you could see on the Unilocal page. I can handle medium rare, not raw. Thats not the bad part. I called back and the Dick-head manager acts like its my fault. I am pretty sure we have not discovered a way to UNCOOKFOOD… but hey maybe Dick knows something I don’t! I really hate to leave bad reviews, but I didn’t do anything but order, pay(with TIP), AND get E. Coli… is it wrong to be respected as a paying patron? Guess Cracker Barrel is stuck in the past.

I was in a fairly large group, but they seated us pretty quickly. Our server did a great job of keeping our orders and our bills straight. I had my favorite breakfast, the Smokehouse, and I’ve learned to ask for my eggs over medium with the whites completely done and my bacon extra crispy. I got exactly what I asked for and really enjoyed it.

Who doesn’t enjoy a Cracker Carrel? Usually very consistent and good service. This place takes their jobs wayyyy too seriously though. My family met me here when traveling through. Just to get the food out of the way it was the same as any other Cracker Barrel. Southern, salty, decent sized portions. It came out hot, quick and tasty. I was full and ate everything. Trying to get seated was a pain though. We had a party of 9 but 6 of us got there about 40 minutes before everyone else. We waited till the 2 of the last 3 were pulling in to tell them we were ready. They refused to seat us even though we told them my grandparents were pulling in. Then… I had a friend coming from work to meet us(I had their order already). They didn’t want to seat us till this person arrived even though we told them we were in a hurry. I mean really? You have 8 of 9 and one is in a hurry. Finally she gave in and seated us. I might come back because it is close to my house but not without looking at other options.

I went here with a group of friends on Tuesday. The restaurant was busy as usual but they got us in quickly. I had the Grandpa’s(biscuits, grits, fried steak, hard fried eggs, and apples) and a sweet tea. Pros: — Sweet tea. Very yummy and I can actually taste the tea flavor, unlike other restaurants. — Hard fried eggs. Trust me, some restaurant can mess this up. — Good for big groups. — Manager came and talk to you — Waiters were very attentive Cons: — Biscuits and gravy. Sorry but White Castle has better biscuits and it’s a fast food restaurant. — Grits… well it’s grits. Flavorless. — Fried steak with gravy. Frozen steak then fried? There was no seasoning or anything. — Apples. Very very sweet. I drank my sweet tea after eating the apples, the sweet tea tasted like unsweetened tea because the apples were wayyy too sweet! May be I ordered the wrong meal. If I ever come back here, I’ll make sure I’ll just get breakfast items like bacon, eggs, sausages, or pancakes(which were a hit among my friends). Parking wasn’t a problem and they have chairs outside to enjoy the beautiful summer view. 2013/#23

I thoroughly enjoy Cracker Barrel. I tend to hit this one up for breakfast, and am always pleased with my experience. The only thing that is somewhat inconsistent is the service. The food is always GREAT, but the service can be hit or miss. I don’t know if they have a lot of turnover or what, but I guess what I’m saying is– I’ve had better. But hey, for now I’m the Duchess so obviously it doesn’t keep me from going back!

This location is near our home and I love going here. I am not much a breakfast eater, but I like it because I can get exactly what I like One Egg over easy, with bacon and toast and HOT Tea. I love the hot tea here. Tony varies, but it is good because when he wants eggs .he can get his egg beaters here. I love the restaurant for the awesome store and all the lovely country decorations… especially at Christmas time. We ate a quick breakfast here on November 1, 2012, and it was less than $ 20 with taxes and tips. can’t beat it. highly recommend to all.

I scoff at Cracker Barrel when suggested. Under-seasoned food for the masses? Pass. However, I forgot about one meal that most places don’t F up and that’s BREAKFAST. Forget the rest of the menu — it isn’t going to be as good as your Granny’s. But the breakfast. Seriously. Maybe it was because I was super hungover and had been dieting all week or maybe it was really that good. I don’t know but whatever, I had a lovely breakfast here. We started with some pancakes with blackberry syrup as an «appetizer» for the table. Yes, that’s some extreme piggyness right there. They were great but then what isn’t when doused in liberal doses of syrup and butter? Next she brought out everyone’s food but my food was taking longer because they accidentally made country fried steak instead of chicken for my meat… I told them I’d eat the steak but they really wanted me to have the chicken. But in the meantime she had put biscuits out with a big bowl of gravy beside it. So I did what any person would do… dipped a biscuit in gravy while waiting for my food. What, other people have shame? Not me, no shame at ALL. Then I got my country fried chicken with hashbrowns and two eggs over easy. The chicken(in TX we call that chicken fried chicken) was decent — it was fried after all. The hashbrowns were perfectly crunchy, eggs perfectly runny. Overall I was stuffed and pleased with the entire thing. This particular Cracker Barrel is mobbed though so just know you are going to wait on the porch for a while. They also make you have the entire party there before you are seated, but if your party is running just a small bit behind tell the lady seating you they are in the bathroom. Works. Also, it was interesting that apparently our waitress was fired in the middle of our meal for something. Very strange. But both waitresses were nice to us so I didn’t have a problem. I am not usually going to think of Cracker Barrel first on my list, but I might schedule an entire cheat meal around breakfast here when I don’t feel like going somewhere farther away(like Loveless).

Throughout the years I’ve had great experiences and poor experiences with this location; far too many to recount in a review. Hence, meet somewhere in the middle. It says two stars because I can’t give two-point-five. I haven’t been in awhile, and it was nice to see the To-Go process a bit more streamlined today. A server actually brought me my order, and asked if there was anything else she could get for me, all with a huge smile on her face. Upon my request for more ketchup, she gladly ran to retrieve some for me and promptly returned. Why oh why is the«To-Go order taking phone» located in the kitchen? I brace myself every time I call knowing I will have to yell so the person taking my order can hear me. An insert was placed in the bag today stating CB offers designated parking for To-Go folks at SOME of their locations. As far as I can tell, this isn’t the case(perhaps, yet) at this location. Now why would Corporate instruct a store to insert this flyer knowing that location is not yet participating? As far as getting your vehicle into and out of this lot, good luck. Once in the lot, finding a spot to park it can be equally as challenging. Then ultimately stand in line with the rest of the diners in a very cramped check out area. Thank goodness their veggie soup and hash brown casserole are so darn good!

When you’ve had enough of going to Pancake Pantry for breakfast, this Cracker Barrel is an excellent place to try. Its especially nice because just up the street is also a Waffle House. If you find that this Cracker Barrel is too busy for breakfast, you can just cruise up the street to Waffle House. Keep in mind this location, like most Cracker Barrel’s gets very busy, especially weekends and in the morning.
