If you love hot dogs, then this is the place to try many a topping on a tasty bun(or bread– that is almost like a French toast number). We dug the Tennessee… While in Rome, you know the rest. Don’t miss this cheap and cheerful tasty bite.

The veggie sausages and hotdogs are amazing! My husband had a veggie hotdog for lunch and we return for dinner and got veggies sausages(Kielbasa, and Italian). I almost called to make sure it was veggie(lol). They offer fast, friendly service and great tasting food. Great homemade onion rings, delicious hot fries, tons of toppings to choose from, and so much more. Cori dog house … You have set the bar pretty high for fast food restaurants. My first time here and we will be returning. I just wish there were locations in other cites besides Nashville. That way, I can tell all my vegetarian friends where to get a great veggie dogs.

I didn’t care for the beef hotdog nor the bratwurst. They both were salty. They had a cheap taste.

I’m amazed that I attended Vanderbilt yet never managed to try this place! Like other reviewers have mentioned, it’s right next to Centennial Park and within walking distance of Vanderbilt. Unlike many other restaurants in the area, they have an entire parking lot for their customers, which is a relief for those of us(*cough cough me*) who cannot parallel park to save their life. When I walked into Cori’s I was overwhelmed by how expansive the menu was. They have so many different options of not only hot dogs but other types of sandwiches as well. I am not a huge hot dog fan, so I tried the Philly steak sandwich with mushrooms added with a side of fries. The sandwich itself was delicious-I love that everything is served on a Texas toast bun. They are absolutely heavenly! The fries were nothing special; in my opinion, they were too salty. The employees were not the friendliest, but the food came out quickly and everything was both accurately made and delicious. I can definitely see myself coming back to Cori’s in the future. I would be interested to try the bratwurst or sausages next time!

I am open to the idea that I just hit them on an off day/time since everyone else seems to love their hot dogs, but I had one of my worst eating experiences in Nashville here. The hot dogs were mediocre, the bun was disgusting, the facility looked dirty, and there were fruit flies everywhere in the restaurant. All of that being said, everyone on staff was very nice and pleasant to interact with. I know that even the best have a bad day, but if I want hot dogs in Nashville in the future I will just go somewhere else.

Love the wide selection and you can mix and match with beef dogs, sausage or brats. These are so good it’s easy to stay with what you’ve tried, but I’d encourage you to try something new. Don’t forget the onion rings which are cut thin and very crispy. I’ll be back. Again and again.

How does a restaurant make hot dogs interesting enough to attract people but not pretentious and overdone? Cori’s DogHouse has figured this out and really should be a regular spot for the casual diner in the West End of Nashville. Cori’s sits within a stone’s throw of Centennial Park, walking distance from Vanderbilt University and has ample parking. The restaurant is clean, casual and cheerfully decorated in reds and yellows. It’s all counter service with cheerful and helpful staff. The menu mostly has hot dogs but does offer other sandwiches and sausages. In fact, you can substitute(for extra money) bratwurst, veggie sausage, italian or chicken sausage for the hot dog. The fun part of Cori’s is the expansive choice of specialty dogs, each named after a different place. There are traditional and not-so-traditional toppings that make up each selection. Onions, relish, chili, mustard are included in many but also things like pimento cheese and celery salt. Each hot dog selection is prepared on a flat top grill, with the dog split and nestled into a butter grilled New England Roll(think Texas Toast). We had a Cincinnati dog, which was traditional with chili, cheese mustard and onions. We also had 2 Georgia dogs, which has cole slaw and pimento cheese on them. Both were delicious. Good ratio of bun: dog:fixins(ratios are critical). We also had onion rings and fries, both respectable. For two people ordering 3 dogs, 2 soft drinks and a split order of rings and fries, our order came to 20 dollars. There is a respectable choice of beers, both bottled and on tap, including some local craft beer options. Basically there is no down side here. On a Saturday night we saw couples on dates, groups of older people sitting down to eat and talk, people coming in to eat and watch the NBA game, and groups coming in after a softball game. So if you are a traditional hot dog afficianado or you like fancier takes on your dog, this is the place.

I’m not going to say much here, except… Damn. Clean place, friendly staff at counter and grill, TVs to watch the sports teams sport at each other. Dogs was about $ 4-$ 5 and the first hot dogs I’ve ever had WORTH that price. Simply a-maz-ing. I will certainly be back.

Oh, my goodness, super yummmm! The buns split and toasted just so. The gigantic, perfectly crisp corn dogs. The fried Twinkies(Yes. Yes I did.). Generous servings of everything. If you’re craving a dog in Nashville, Cori’s is the place to go. And they have diet Mountain Dew.

This was my second visit to a Cori’s, and the selection is great, but I totally got roped in by the day’s special: the mac dog! The macaroni and cheese here is a little on the soupy side, but it actually worked for this combo. Bacon, mac and cheese, and the beef frank were a great — albeit slightly messy — treat. The service here is good, and the location is also really good.

First time here, wanted something different and new. Great variety of toppings, enough to satisfy every taste. The service was really friendly and answered all our questions without attitude. When asked if a dog and a side were filling, the man at the counter said if I wasn’t full with my meal, they were really fast at fixing a second!

Love it! Yummy flavors, and interesting combinations. The only thing — I live in Seattle and can guarantee a Seattle dog is only cream cheese and grilled onions. Not fresh onions, and no sauerkraut!

I have visited Cori’s DogHouse over ten times within the last 4 months, more than any other establishment in Nashville. These hot dogs make me come back. I particularly like the meaty franks and the Texas toast, buttery bun. The numerous ways you can get your hot dog dressed are just a cherry on a cake. Oh, and I really do enjoy the challenge of eating all the hot dogs in their offer in exchange for a T-shirt and a picture on the wall(naturally over the course of some time…). I am nearly half way there. I have not tried the same flavor more than once, so it is difficult for me to have favorites, but a lot of the variants were very satisfying indeed. Oh, and try fried pickles. They are good.

Nothing wrong with this place. Huge selection of gourmet dogs, all of which seem to be delicious, on ideal buns(Texas Toast, quite impressive), with perfect sides. Some of the best onion rings I’ve had anywhere, and fries with skins on, salted right, appropriately crispy. Had the Chicago, the Buffalo, and the Memphis, and everyone was happy. Missed the fried pickles, will need to try those next time based on the reviews.

Come hungry, Leave very satisfied!!! One of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had! There are 38 different types of hot dogs you can try and all of them looked delicious. The hot dog are split up in categories of Midwestern, Eastern, Southern, and Western South Pacific. I went ahead and ordered my hometown the Los Angeles, which had bacon, cheese, grilled onions and jalapenos! It was served on a bun I’ve never seen before but it was like buttered Texas toast halves. The hot dog was perfect! It had just the right amount of toppings that didn’t steal away the flavor of the hot dog and the bread bun had butter on it to give it a savory taste versus your normal plain hot dog bun. I ordered a side of fried mushrooms to go along with my meal. I loved them! They were perfectly battered and once you bit into them, the mushrooms were soft and hot on the inside. They were served with a zesty sauce, kind of like the sauce you use to dip fried pickles in. Overall, FANTASTIC! Lastly for desert… FRIEDTWINKIES!!! How can you go wrong?! It was served with your choice of chocolate, caramel or strawberry drizzle. I ordered the caramel drizzle. It melted in my mouth and I was in absolute bliss! Overall experience was amazing! Amazing food, large portions and at a great price! 2 gourmet hot dogs, 2 drinks, 1 side and 1 dessert for around $ 21!!! You can’t go wrong at this place!

Came for a quick lunch after a nice walk at Centennial Park. While it isn’t fancy they serve up a darn good dog with various accoutrements for a great price! I love how they specify their different dogs after different parts of the country… Want a hot dog with bacon and sauerkraut? Check. Pineapple and mango salsa? Check. Coleslaw? Cream cheese? Jalapenos? Check, check, and check. I ended up trying the Pennsylvania«Mop Dog» which consisted of a dog with onions, plenty of mustard and two delicious pickle spears on them. I’m not exactly sure how the dog got it’s name, but I don’t particularly care, either. It was delicious! I loved how it was served on toasted bread instead of a regular bun. They offer French fries, onion rings, etc as well as dessert. They also serve soda, iced tea and a few beers if you want to imbibe. I didn’t, but it’s nice to have that option. The restaurant was clean. The service was great. Parking was a little tight in the lot, but there is plenty of parking around the restaurant. I ended up walking out of there full and happy for about $ 6! I highly recommend!

Come hungry, order two hot dogs and fries, and leave completely satiated. Cori’s has 38 different types of hot dogs served on what is essentially a texas toast bun. If you eat all 38 types of hot dogs your photo goes on to the Wall of Wieners. Unfortunately for my gut, Cori’s is right around the block from my office and I go there ahem … more than once a week. Seriously, it’s that good!

Amazing. Easily the best hot dog I’ve had in Nashville. The quality of the ingredients is amazing. The handmade freshness of everything is to die for! Healthy portions for the price. Two dogs, two sides, two drinks — $ 22 bucks. Nice deal for the amount of food we got! Absolutely blown away by flavor. High quality beef, handmade sauces, chilis, everything! 10⁄10 would reccomend a million times again.

What a cool place. Tons of different hot dogs to choose from, from all over the country. They have onion rings and fries as well. I’m not the biggest hot dog fan but this place is worth a shot. The hot dogs are about $ 4 and perfect for a cheap lunch. Glad I came here.

I’m a regular at this place. My wife and I go almost every Sunday after church. We love the variety of toppings and dogs that they offer– seriously there’s something for everyone. I took the challenge of trying one of every dog on the menu(38 different dogs). It was to try them all, but I quickly found out that the chili here is kinda… well, not that good. I liked most everything else though. Probably one of the most popular dogs is the Jersey Breakfast Dog– an all beef dog topped with a fried egg, cheese, and bacon. Super good! Whatever style you get, you can have any of a variety of hot dogs too. They have the standard all beef dog, turkey dogs, vegan polish dogs, and more. I’m a bit of a traditionalist. I stick with the all beef. This place also has my favorite fried pickles! You gotta try ‘em! On top of great food, the people who work here are nice. Kayla is always friendly at the register and greets my wife and I by name. The guys at the grill also say hi when we come in. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the chili is rough and I love chili dogs. Otherwise this place rocks.

SO. GOOD. Great variety in toppings, reasonably priced. Their coleslaw is a bit unique, and amazing. Service is always great, not to mention quick. Get the onion rings, you will not regret it(unless you’re allergic to onions. then you should probably skip ‘em). Sad that they cut the happy hour special down to M-F only, as I’m usually only in the area on Sundays, but no big.

Okay, they have so many great hot dogs here, but what you don’t know is that they also have the best chicken or beef Philly cheese steaks in town! Make sure you add some mushrooms and jalapenos(no additional charge) in addition to the peppers and onions. Great buns and they really do fill it all up! Prices are cheap and service is fast.

As someone who loves hot dogs and brought a fellow hot dog fanatic, we were pleasantly surprised. Highlights– Texas toast and fried pickles. Downside– As we had read in other reviews– the chili wasn’t seasoned right. We ordered the Memphis dog and the Boston ‘hottie’ dog.

I am a sucker for a local hot dog place and this one was right by my hotel, so I couldn’t not stop. The options abound for regionally themed dogs, plus they branch out into other sandwich options. I stuck with my usual bacon and cheddar, plus fries. The split top roll was slightly deeper than the traditional roll that I’m used to from lobster rolls, etc. in New England — it felt more like a Texas Toast version of the New England roll, which was fine, but it was a lot of bread. The hot dogs were super jumbo — maybe a little too much of everything for my taste. Also, the cheese didn’t melt into the hot dog, which made me sad. The fries were a touch undercooked, so the middles of some still tastes a touch raw — another couple minutes nj the dryer would’ve been great. Finally, I would recommend throwing some napkins into the to go bag, or moving the condiments and paper goods over to where they call up to go orders, as I managed to leave without thinking about napkins and luckily had some stashed in my bag. Would’ve been a messy ride to the airport eating in the car without the emergency supplies. Even so, I enjoyed the dog — the price was reasonable, and I’m guessing the fries were just an unlucky batch.

Not knowing how large the dogs were, my fat a$$ ordered a corn dog, the Tennessee dog and some onion rings. The breading on the corn dog was fantastic and the Tennessee dog could be the best hot dog ever! I have never had relish so fresh and the chili was spot on! The«bun» is a warm toasty buttery crispy slam-tastic piece of heavan. Onion rings were slightly over cooked but this isn’t Cori’s onion ring house either so 5stars it is! If you are looking for quick, laidback place to grab a quick bite, this is the place!

Cori’s DogHouse was found back in ’09 by Sean«Sully» Sullivan, where his dogs are served up on a New England style bun. He named the restaurant after his daughter, Cori, which I thought was quite sweet. They serve 38 different varieties, featuring from certain regions(«The East,» The Midwest/Central”), and serves New York style, Rhode Island Style, and even Chicago Style. I like the fact that they serve different types of dogs, but I actually expected them to offer their own unique versions, rather than offering specific regions. I don’t think I was too keen on trying out the Chicago as I’ve had Chicago dogs before and didn’t want to be disappointed: P Besides the dogs, Cori’s also serves up sausages, sandwiches, and desserts. My sister and I found the ‘Fried Twinkie,’ and was very intrigued — it’s literally a deep-fried Twinkie, dusted with powdered sugar and a drizzle of either chocolate, raspberry, caramel or vanilla sauce(we opted for the raspberry). I liked how the Twinkie actually bloated up from being deep-fried(there wasn’t any batter; just literally the Twinkie being dropped into the deep fryer) — it tasted like a funnel cake! It wasn’t overly sweet, but it was an interesting dessert. Staff were friendly, and I enjoyed looking at the ‘Wall of Fame’ in the back, where it features framed pictures of individuals who tackled all 38 dogs(no time/day limit), states how many hours/days it took them to try all the dogs on the menu, their most favorite out of them all, and they also win the restaurant’s shirt as well as their picture recognition. I thought that was cool(I saw a guy who did it all in 5 days) — HA! :D +‘Fried Twinkie’
