Was here yesterday for a business lunch around noon. There was virtually no wait, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend it! No tourists at all. I had the gouda mac and cheese side with café salad. Both delicious.

Great location and great food. We went there for cookies and sweet tea. The cookies were great and the sweet tea was amazing. We needed lunch so we decided to order. I got the steak sandwich and my wife got the chicken salad sandwich. The chips were amazing! My sandwich was good but very greasy. My wife’s was amazing. The service was great. It’s hard to find café Lila on Unilocal without searching the name directly.

We got downtown early as we were going to see Tori Kelly in concert and noticed Café Lulu right next to it. I will have to say its very convenient and fortunately we were arrived early as it got packed within an hour of the show. Café has a decent selection for drinks and cocktails. The service was great. As for the food I thought it was just o.k. and similar to what you’d get at a bar. I’d definitely stop by again only if we were going to a show at the Ryman and needed a quick bite to eat, but in other circumstances there are other options downtown I’d choose first.

Ate at Café Lula before a show at The Ryman. I ordered the Chicken Salad sandwich with the side kale salad. I’ve been thinking about that kale salad ever since, it was delicious. The pricing is fair and I love that you are able to enter and exit the venue during the show to visit the café for food or beverages. The atmosphere is comfortable. I visited on a beautiful day and sat outside. I also enjoyed the live acoustic entertainment. The music wasn’t too loud and overpowering while I was eating. The staff was very friendly. The sweet bearded cashier helped me order as it was my first time there. He gave great recommendations! I would recommend Café Lula for a moderately priced, quick and tasty stop while visiting Nashville. They also have coffee and tea for morning stops.

I’ll begin this review by saying I’m a local and I take hot chicken seriously. I ordered the hot chicken with Mac-n-cheese as a side. The Mac-n-cheese had GREAT flavor, unfortunately it was lukewarm. I would have enjoyed it more if it was hot. The hot chicken is not«real hot chicken» it’s flavorful but I needed some ranch dressing to go with it. The ranch dressing is really good. I wonder if it’s made in house. I would pass on the house made chips. They taste like the chips you get with a Panera sandwich. Overall, I would go back I would just request that my food is hot and not lukewarm.

Super cool place. Had some coffee here before touring the Ryman then went back for some beers. Staff was super cool and shared some places to go visit while in Nashville. Thanks guys!

We weren’t very impressed. I think most people go there for coffee, maybe dessert. My turkey sandwich was just«OK» because there wasn’t enough of anything for me to really TASTE the different flavors(brie, cherry balsamic glaze, the herbs that the turkey was cooked with). Caesar salad had a terrible taste of fish to it. No, not the anchovy flavor we know and love. Homemade chips very good, so was the Gouda Mac and Cheese. Still, I expected more for my money.

I ordered a coffee. The gentleman behind the counter poured it for me. I noticed the coffee pot was emptied while he was pouring mine and it didn’t fill my cup all the way up. He then added plain hot water to my $ 4 cup of coffee. Needless to say, it was terrible. Everything is overpriced here as well. This is a tourist trap. Locals stay clear.

Perfect lunch spot adjacent to the Ryman Auditorium. Very allergy friendly with lots of local and healthy options. Split a half rotisserie chicken and coleslaw. There is wine and beer available. Many patrons were sipping coffee, which I assume was good. :) they featured a cobbler, but it looked more like a crumble to this southern Texas lady, so I politely passed. Good service. Order at counter. Lovely view of the downtown area from a posh, modern luncheonette.

I ended up wandering into this place while walking around downtown on a trip. I was greeted by Zach who was super friendly & informative. I ended up ordering the turkey apple Brie sandwich. It was really good and worth stopping in for!

Pretty meh. The sandwiches were decent for the pre made kind, but the sides were awful. Undercooked potatoes, Mac and cheese that tasted like glue(reminiscent of school lunch fare). The Brussels were almost perfect except every once and a while there were hard pieces of stalk. Save the $ and skip this place.

My wife and I were just looking for coffee and we found this spot at Unilocal.Friendly staff and nice décor. About the coffee, we both ordered americano and they were better than Starbucks, for comparisons purposes.

The food was pretty good. The prices are okay — especially considering the prices in the rest of downtown. My biggest issue is that all of the food comes either IN or ON plastic, and yet there are no recycling bins. That’s a MASSIVE amount of ecological waste happening when it doesn’t have to. Do better, Café Lula.

Nice stop if you are waiting to get into the Ryman but I would not stop in outside of that. The food was pricey for what you received but was good. Limited beer options but they have a few. Nice outdoor seating for some good people watching before your show.

Convenient stop. Previous reviewer said the menu is limited, which is true but what they have is very tasty. Try the roasted pork sandwich with pimento cheese! All the sides were very good. We had Mac and cheese, potato salad with bacon, squash casserole and cucumber salad. The cornbread was both sweet and spicy and one of the favorites. I like that they have wine and beer and the décor is really cute.

The menu is limited… I ordered off a menu & received a sandwich in clamshell container. I guess I had a preconceived notion it would be more«restaurant» than«snack stand». The atmosphere was nice…
