Update; I have ordered from BunchOfMuch two more times. Both times, they beat the delivery time estimate by at least 20 minutes. I am very impressed with BunchOfMunch. First, I live in Bellevue and the few restaurant delivery services that are in Nashville, often don’t include Bellevue in their service area. Next, I write software for a living and I was impressed with BunchOfMuch’s choice of software. Overall, it has kind of an outdated look, but it is VERY functional. Features like custom menus for each restaurant and estimated delivery time are quite nice. Further, I like the fact that when the driver checks in to the restaurant and again when he/she leaves, you get an email status notification. The restaurant selection is great — the best I have seen, in terms of numbers, for any similar service in Nashville. My experience was top-notch. I did a test order and paid cash because I had never heard of these folks before. I found them on Google while searching for food delivery in Nashville. I ordered the food online. The estimated delivery time was 64 minutes. Remember, the drivers have to get from their last delivery, to the restaurant, and then over to you, so plan a little extra time compared to a pizza delivery where the drivers are right at the shop. I got the email notifications when the driver got to the restaurant and when he left. The food arrived after a total of about 70 minutes. Not bad at all. The driver was very friendly and courteous. All in all, I am extremely happy to have the service in my area. As for Benjamin C’s experience, I agree that the call from someone complaining about the tip was poor judgement. However, we should realize that for these kinds of services, the«delivery fee» pays for the business and funds the service. Drivers generally work for tips and maybe some small base wage. If we under tip, we are shorting the driver. He or she did not refill our drinks and such, but he or she did spend as much, if not more, time servicing our order as a wait person in a regular restaurant. Plus they often pay for their own gas. They deserve at least a tip comparable to one that you would leave at a restaurant. Bellevue is a food delivery wasteland. I REALLY appreciate having this service in my area. I GLADLY pay the delivery fee and a good tip for the driver so that I have this service available.

I have never written a Unilocal review, however, I feel it necessary to do so now. I have used this service twice, the most recent time being a few hours ago. I understand the concept here, and it makes sense. However, for this to work, you must be sure to have the loyalty and respect of your customer. Within my two orders, I tipped the driver just under $ 9 total. Not bad, right? Together, my orders totaled about $ 70, so that’s not terrible, considering the $ 6 delivery fee I already have to pay originally with each order. The man, who is the one who actually gives you the food, has always been quite nice. However, tonight, the woman(his wife, I guess) called me back after I was given my food, and complained about my tipping. Regardless of the amount, I can see no way that this is ever proper. How do you expect to have customers use your service(over other well-known services of the same caliber, such as Order Up) if you are going to call them after the delivery to complain to them? Not gonna happen, and I will call one of the other services the next time I would like a delivery. In short, I love Ma and Pop start ups, and this could be successful, however I feel no need to favor this service over any of the others and therefore will likely not call them again. I enjoyed the food though, and I feel bad for the guy, who was very nice both times I spoke with him.
