The location is the best thing about this place. Yet, it’s because of the location that there is a CONSTANT jack hammer that sounds like it’s in the walls from the construction within a block in every direction. Don’t expect to ever sleep late with this noise or be able to concentrate. There are no dishwashers. The rooftop pool is nice, but it’s only open 4 months out of the year.

I lived in this building for two years while attending Vanderbilt University. I would say that this is an acceptable place. The apartments are decently clean, but they are old and mold will appear often during the winter because the windows haven’t been replaced in many years. All the apartments are also pretty small. The worst thing about these apartments is that the windows do not block the sound from the outside at all, and you get a lot of noise from the nearby bars and restaurants which can make it difficult to sleep at night. The actual building offers a laundry room and more importantly, a pretty great rooftop pool, with a great view of downtown Nashville. There is also extra storage available for purchase. The great thing about living here is the location, and the free parking that comes with it. It is possible to walk everywhere. Overall, my experience with Americana Apartments was rather positive and I would recommend it, particularly if you are going to study at Vanderbilt. Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!
