Alright, so let it be said that I am not much of a beer drinker. ATALL. But the selection at the 4 Stop Market is 2nd to none and has become my go-to for carbonated alcoholic bevs. These days, Nashville takes craft beer from all over the nation AND world seriously, and 4 Stop has jumped on the bandwagon and seems to be exceeding every other store in town’s selection. They sell 6-packs of Steigl Radler in GLASS bottles. Plus — well, EVERYOTHERBEERIMAGINABLE. They sell 20 oz cans(including 12-packs of he smaller cans) of EVERY flavor of Bud Light Lime-a-Rita — there’s Mango-Rita, Apple-Rita, Raz-ber-Rita… I feel like the Bubba Gump of a-Ritas.

Because as my tip says, always seems to be open when I need it and it is a stone’s throw from the house, great beer selection and friendly lads behind the counter, now if only they did hot chicken noodle soup takeout for morning after’s we would be sorted.

I grew up in Colorado and just moved to Nashville from the Bay Area. I am a purebred beer snob. If i would have lived in Oregon too, I would be uncontrollable. I believe I have just found my go-to beer store for now until I move away from Nashville. They have most of the Colorado beers that I crave, like Fort Collins Brewing, Boulder Beer, and Left hand. I would love it if they could add some things from Great Divide, Odell’s, and Avery, but that may be asking a lot. There is a good Nor Cal representation too. I especially appreciate the beers from Lost Coast Brewery. They remind me of a lovely vacation I took up the coast to go look at giant trees and drink beer. That was a really fun trip, especially drinking beer in the hot tub naked, but thats a different story. I was just overall impressed with the amount of delicious beer. I am a happy beer snob tonight. I’ve got a six-pack of Rogue and a 12-pack of Hazed and Infused, I couldn’t be happier. (Disclaimer: This review may be biased by that delicious Rogue Juniper Pale Ale I just drank, Deeeeelish!!!)

It’s so nice being able to walk out of my house to the 4 Stop when I want to pick up some quality beer and not have to run to a grocery store… Oh, and they also have a nice selection of candy and snacks.

Amazing beer selection, nice staff. I took away one star because the building is kind of an eyesore, but I suppose it isn’t really part of their business objective to pretty up the neighborhood.

The 4 Stop Market is a pretty standard convenience store except for one key difference, they have one of the best beer selections in Nashville. Seriously, microbrews, imports, singles, crap beer, everything. The selection stands up pretty favorably to places like midtown and whole foods. In fact they have beers that I have not seen anywhere else in town like Pork Slap Ale and Highland brews. Awesome. Places like 4 Stop are part of what makes East Nasty so original. An unassuming little convenience store that obviously knows its clients and their tastes. The staff is always friendly and efficient and the beer is cold. Perfect stop on your way to pick up a pizza from Italia up the street.

Okay as far as I’m concerned any place this far east carrying NorCal brews is going to get 5 stars no matter what the rest of the place looks like. As previously stated in my last review of other local liquor shops, I have had a hard time with interesting beer selections, and 4 Stop provided what I’ve been lookin for. It’s conveniently located for my purposes and has enough of a selection to satisfy me for the coming months. They’ve got a fair enough selection of snacks, ciggies, and other convenience store items to satisfy your quick in and out needs! Plus it helps the dudes working the counter are super cool.

The 4 Stop is another of those ancient, tiny convenience shops that blends in with the surroundings of East Nashville. Fortunately for its owners, however, it is the only place to buy cigarettes, a quick snack or a six-pack in the burgeoning district of 14th and Woodland. As most East Nashvillians know, this area is home to the ever-popular Lipstick Lounge, the newly opened Mad Donna’s(formerly Radio Café) and monthly craft fairs. Thus it is about as convenient a spot as it gets when you’re hit with a late-night craving for some Doritos. The guys who run this place are pretty friendly, and on stifling summer afternoons, they leave the door open and talk with you at great length about the humidity. One of the guys who works there often brings along his brother/nephew/son(?), who always sports a Kool-Aid mustache and wants to talk about baseball. The 4 Stop has a pretty decent selection of beer – I think that’s primarily what keeps them in business. As far as snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, it’s pretty comparable to any other independently-owned convenience store you’ll find on the East Side – only you don’t have to drive all the way out to Gallatin Road.
