The sushi is really fresh and delicious, and they have plenty of spicy rolls and unique flavor combinations. My only complaint is that the special rolls are not any larger than the more basic rolls such as California, salmon, etc. Typically special rolls, while much pricier, are also much larger and have more fish in them. For the price you pay for a special roll here, you really don’t get much more fish than the basic rolls. Also, the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail rolls have that pâté kind of filling mixed with panko, rather than the whole sliver of fish, so you’re getting much less fish per roll and its harder to enjoy the unique flavor of the different kinds of fish. Pâtéd they all end up tasting kind of the same. Overall, it’s a good place for some flavorful sushi rolls, but I’d like to see more fish and less filler, and little more bang in their special rolls.

My favorite sushi-dine in place. Their sushi has high quality. I love Phoenix maki and green tea fried ice cream. So delicious! Great environment and service :)

Loved the love boat! It came out quickly and very fresh. The place is small and people’s voices carry a bit much with the tables close together. Great service and yummy green tea. Oh and the hand rolled sushi amazing!

I love this place, the sushi is delicious. I like how they have low carb rolls too, although I usually indulge in the regular ones. :)

I am a Californian, and to me, this sushi is just Ok. I was at Nashua for holidays and decided to take family to a sushi treat. This restaurant had particularly good reviews on Unilocal and I thought it’d be a good try. My story ends with a «I never tried sushi at Nashua ever again.» haha jk. We ordered a California roll, Unagi roll, crab wontons and edamame. I felt the California roll was wayyy different than how I have it normally. Though I can’t really point out what the difference is, to me, it wasn’t good. The unagi roll was so-so. The crab wontons were pretty good, the sauce tasted delicious. Other than the food, the place was pretty good, the staff was pleasant and helpful. So, this may be the best sushi at Nashua, but, to me, it wasn’t up to my taste. #NotWorthMyBucks.

This restaurant is really cool. The food was delicious and the staff was very polite and friendly. Went there for lunch. Their lunch menu is awesome, both in price and diversity. I had the chicken katsu. It came with white rice, dumplings, three California rolls, soup and salad. Everything was excellent. I haven’t had Asian food this good since Japan.

Pulling up to a strip mall is unappetizing. Unfortunately this is the reality of a many Nashua restaurants. When you get pat this, Yoshimama is a tasty good sushi joint. I’ve had the charasi; the fish is pretty fresh and the sticky rice is done well. The table section is small and boxy; but the bar/sushi bar décor is redeeming. Whose your mama? Yoshimama.

This is our second try at this restaurant. 1) The sushi is a bit fishy. For the price we paid, it is under standard Japanese food. 2) The food is definitely overpriced. A single shrimp hand roll was $ 9, etc. 3) The service was unprofessional. The waitress was totally unfamiliar with Japanese food. Items has to be described in detail to be recognized by her. One item we ordered was missing and there was no apology offered. We ordered two waters and only one showed up. We had dinner for two with no alcohol ordered and the total with tip came to be over $ 65. The people there are friendly but for the prices they are charging for Japanese food, you will be better off somewhere else.

The ONLY thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that the spicy tuna roll had ground up tuna which isn’t my favorite(I want a fresh chunk in there!) Other than that, one of the best Japanese/sushi restaurants in the area! The Boston Maki and Crazy Maki were outstanding, and the fish was extremely fresh. We also got the Nabeyaki Udon which was incredible. Extremely tasty take on an Asian style broth soup. Finally, we shared a scorpion bowl for two. We watched the waitress make it and it was almost entirely alcohol, and delicious as well. Amazing restaurant for special sushi, but not for simple rolls. We will certainly be back!

Unassuming little sushi restaurant in a strip mall off of Amherst Street… Without a doubt, the best sushi in Nashua. When we walked in there were 2 people at the bar and only one table occupied so we were a little worried. By the time we finished our meal, the place was packed and people were waiting for tables. Friendly, attentive staff and super fresh and creative rolls. Love the selection of spicy rolls and their willingness to be accommodating to our request to change some of the fish out for others we preferred. Some of the rolls area little on the expensive side, but they are huge! You definitely get a lot for your money here.

Don’t be fooled by this location, it’s in a shopping plaza right next to a Chinese takeout restaurant so don’t miss it! The sushi is amazing to say the least… the sushi was beautifully made with high quality fish! If you are only going to choose one Maki roll(they do have so many to choose from) I would go for the Louisiana roll — the sauce, the mix of fried and fresh, and the panko crust is delicious! I always have miso soup and salad with my sushi and their ginger salad dressing is so yummy… sweet and savory at the same time! My aunt ordered the dumpling soup and it has endless dumplings… so much value for your dollar! We also ordered Frozen pina coladas with Midori and though they don’t have blender at the bar they are able to make them for you!!! The servers and service were fabulous and my water glass was never empty! Love that!

Absolutely a favorite! They take time to get to know their customers and call me by my name each time I visit.(Which would be plausible if I was there daily but it’s more like monthly). Small, intimate restaurant, considerate staff, amazing sushi! Highly recommend the avocado salad, the Phoenix roll and all of the shashimi. Love love love this place!

For a random stop for lunch with two friends from Australia and a date. So the décor is stellar and modern, the tables have 0 silverware cept traditional eating ware which pulls a huge amount of respect from me. Very impressed! The selections were very well priced and excellent value. I was actually surprised to do a 3 roll lunch with miso soup, salad and a drink for $ 20. The service was phenomenal. Polite. Very ontime with clearing plates and offering refills. I must say they stand apart from all other restaurants in service and quality. So very happy with my experience. I will DEFINETLY be back soon!

Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Nashua. The lunch maki combo is truly a great deal, 12(or 18) pieces of maki, salad with delicious ginger dressing, and wonderful miso soup. Every time I’ve been the fish has been super fresh, the rice slightly warm and delicious, and the sauces wonderful. My favorites are the spicy crab roll, eel and cucumber, and the spicy salmon roll. Great California roll too. I’m just being selfish, but I hope they don’t get so successful that they move into a bigger fancier space and start charging twice as much money. They’d deserve it if they did, though.

I went in by myself the other evening for a little bit of dinner. It’s always a great experience when we eat at Yoshimama. It’s one of the best spots in the area for some solid sushi eating, and of course all of their food is tasty, as well… I have never had a bad meal, and the service has always been great, too. I have yet to meet a grouchy employee, they’re all genuinely nice people, and they enjoy their jobs. They have daily specials, and their fish is always super fresh. They had some insanely delicious fatty tuna the other evening! I had a glass of honey plum wine, and I got to relax a bit without kids or hubby in tow. Boooonus!!!

Great little Sushi restaurant that I’ve driven by at least a hundred times. Tonight I had a sushi craving and Unilocaled who the best in Nashua was and they came up. So glad I stopped by. I highly recommend the specials. I had the Oishi Maki and it was amazing and huge. I also had the Sashimi deluxe and it can in a giant lighted Martini glass. A very nice touch and had folks oohing and aching from the bar! The house Saki was delicious. Another nice touch is the attention of the sushi chefs. They ask you what you like and how you like your selection. They also make samples for you to try which was amazing. It’s a bit loud because it’s an open space and very small but not over bearing. If you can find it, stop in and see Tony and his staff!
