Went here Saturday night. Horrible experience. First the restaurant was a balmy 45 degrees. No one in our party could remove their coats and we saw our own breath. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our drinks. Soup came over 1 hour in and it was horrible. Tasted like it was made with toilet water. Then our hibachi was made. Not good not terrible but our entire party ordered filet mignon and what was served was sirloin. They claimed it was filet but this was a lie. Didn’t look like filet and upon tasting it was 100 percent sirloin. Horrible experience horrible restaurant. Save your money!!!

Third time we have been to this restaurant and every time we go it’s the same bad service every time! This time our cook seemed like he was brand new and didn’t do all the tricks and wasn’t that good. The wait staff is not attentive when they are busy, and the bar is so busy you can’t even get a drink at it.

Never go here for lunch. Says they open at 12noon, walked in at 12:15 and no one was around. All employees were in the back. A few came out and I was in clear view of them, no acknowledgement of «hi, we will be right with you.» I walked out around 12:30 because I wasn’t acknowledged or seated. Horrible customer service and I would hate to see what it would be like if I actually ate here. I went next door to Weathervane where I was instantly greeted with a smile.

Very good, but could be slightly better. I’ve been coming here for years, back when it used to be Tokyo Steakhouse and now after it’s changed ownership. It’s still mostly the same food, although the décor has gotten an upgrade with a new carpet and some other renovations. The place has two dining areas, the sushi bar and the grill(Hibachi tables) where your chef will make the food right in front of you. You can also get sushi at the grill tables if you so desire. For the Hibachi, during dinner the meals come with vegetables, a salad and an onion type soup, you may upgrade your white rice to fried rice for $ 2.00 extra(and may be more fried rice for $ 2.00) as well. The lunch included most meals but is HALF off! But has no salad come with it, you’ll need to order that separately for extra. The food is very good, if not moderately expensive. The only thing I really have to say on the negative side is how good your food will be at the grill depends in part on your chef. I think the fried rice is the best part, but it depends how your chef makes it. He will put in ginger butter and soy sauce, but they all do it their own way, they don’t measure out the amounts, it can be perfect or it can be very bland. Another thing is your meal is served with three sauces in a three compartment tray, and often they don’t pay much attention when they are laddling it out and spill it.

Delicious and helpful! I was apprehensive about going to a hibachi restaurant as a vegetarian but I was going with my boyfriend and his family for graduation so there wasn’t much I could do. The waitress seemed confused and didn’t know much about the menu but was very nice. Service was a bit slow but staff accommodated my dietary needs happily. I ordered a side order of vegetables and a side order of white rice– both of which were cooked in the back away from the meat my group was having cooked on the grill. My veggies and rice were both delicious.

Pretty good! love the chicken and shrimp combo. Definitely go for lunch if at all possible. Dinner prices are bit high but it was good and for me it ended up being 3 meals!

Out of all the hibachi places around my area this is the worst. Don’t get me wrong, the food is not the worst in the world but when you look at the prices and the quality together it makes no sense. Its the most expensive out of all the hibachi’s I have been to. My fiancée and I shared the lobster tail which was extremely salty. The atmosphere was dull. There was nothing there that made me feel like I was in a nice restaurant. I was also freezing the whole time I was there. I saw the manager turn up the heating from 65 to 67 degrees… I’m sorry but when you have so many tables that close to the door and its 10 degrees outside you need to turn the heat up. Our server was okay but nothing to write home about. Our chef did the most basic show I have seen in a while. It felt like he has been doing this for so long that he didn’t want to try very hard to impress us. So he mostly just cooked. The filet I had was good but just as good as any other filet I have had anywhere else. All in all there are way better places to go for this kind of food. There is actually another one on the same street that is probably my favorite around. I won’t be going here again unless I have to. It wasn’t the worst, but it defiantly wasn’t even close to the best.

Fantastic! Great atmosphere, good service, good food. I recommend the Osaka salad and the yaki soba. Their sushi menu has all you could need.

no wait at all, but it was lunch time on a Monday. our chef was friendly, but not showy, as you’d expect at a hibachi place. tempura sweet potato roll was amazing. would go back just for that.

We had a great night here with the family. There was no problem with my teen and tween sharing a meal. My husband had chicken and filet, my girls shared sukiyaki and I had sushi. I loved the sushi. It may have been some of the best I have had in a long time. Everyone else liked their dinners too. We are looking forward to going back.

We had been to Tokyo Steak House many times and it seemed good… not great, but something different for a change. Under a new name, we thought we would give this place a try. We were wrong. The place is exactly the same except the food is NOT good. We should have known as at 6 o’clock on a Saturday night we were wisked right in to a more than half empty room. The waitress was very nice, quick and friendly and the Hibachi chef was nice enough and at least tried to entertain us. That’s where the good part ends. My meal was so salty I finished 2 glasses of water and a tea with the meal, that I only ate a portion of. It is a shame as the vegetables are fresh but the amount of salt used and the salty sauces made it unedible. We informed the waitress, because our entire table, 6 people, agreed it was way too salty. She said the chef was new and she would tell him. There’s another restaurant across the street from Tomo called Takumi and they have Hibachi which I will go to instead. Tomo… one strike… you’re out !

Awesome! Phenomenal service. Great food. Calamari was cooked to perfection and the teriyaki chicken with fried rice was perfect. Even good drinks! Totally worth going!

I went here over the weekend. I miss the sushi Kevin made when it was Tokyo Steakhouse. The place is not the same. We were met at the door with disapproving glares, we requested to sit at the sushi bar where we were ignored for 15 minutes before asking us for a drink. I wanted water– I got water with lemon squeezed in it– I can’t have lemon. We left not long after that. The new sushi chef, Ivan seems very nice but he is not Kevin

Please do not go here, just terrible Slow service, painfully long wait, dirty glasses, food was less than mediocre, just barely edible… Not one positive comment(except for the Andes mint on the way out). Went for a family bday meal and was beyond disappointed. Have never left a review before but ran out of this restaurant to write this… Takumi is across the street, save yourself and go there

After visiting other hibachi restaurants, our visit here was disappointing. We were a party of two at lunch. Our hibachi chef wasn’t that entertaining; the meal price — $ 13.95 for sirloin hibachi did not include fried rice or a salad that I’m used to getting at other hibachi restaurants. The meal comes with white rice; the fried rice is an additional $ 2.00. Tea was not offered. The chef cut the sirloin in such small, tiny pieces, it was impossible to get it «medium» as I requested. The pieces of meat were the size of a dime or smaller. The mixed vegetables were cooked and seasoned very well. We were served, as part of this meal, a portion of bean sprouts. IMHO the bean sprouts could have been omitted. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, but when we arrived at noon, the staff was still scurrying around, setting tables, vacuuming the floors they didn’t seem like they were ready for guests even though other people had been seated prior to our arrival. Some soft background music would have added to the experience. I would suggest a hibachi menu that is inclusive of tea, salad and fried rice for the lunch prices they have set up. Their website could be more informative. I will continue to check back on their site for a «new menu & prices» before I go back.
