So happy with the Elmo cake that the bakery decorated for my son’s 2nd birthday… very impressive and great job!

I don’t normally write reviews on Super Markets unless they pull a real FUBAR. This time is to point out the meat department here. My Wife and I went on a shopping«Gauntlet» to some outlets and other stores and stopped here to do a food order. My Wife was in the meat section and found a package of filets that was just too big for one meal. She asked the young man behind the counter if he could bet these cut into 4 pieces. This Gent brought then to another employee to cut them for us. I have to say that he cut them to perfection. We had two last night for dinner and might be one of the best cuts of tenderloin in years. Market Basket management, You have two young men in your meat department that are outstanding. We did not get their names, but we were in the store 4÷25÷15 at 1:30 in the afternoon. Gentlemen, I Tip My Hat to you…

Always very helpful and with good prices across the board, this is my usual go to store. Produce and meat and depts. here are very good too. The bakery always does a good job but get there early for your favorite donut or bagel!

There are a lot of good Market Baskets around, but this ain’t one of them. The place is a zoo, the parking lot is dangerous, and the management staff is extremely rude. Just trying to get up and down the aisles is an adventure and the check-out lines are always long. Plus, the employees aren’t particularly well-trained(which is probably not surprising, considering the low-caliber management staff), so don’t be surprised if, when you get home, you find your bread at the bottom of a bag being squished by the canned goods that you bought. Like I said before, there are lots of good Market Baskets around. Go there.

Don’t think there is a living soul in New England that doesn’t know what Market Basket and their employees just went through. So this is probably for someone who just moved to the region! Usually shop at Hannafords in the area but they don’t always have what I’m looking for so I came here last Weekend for a few things. Now I make it a regular stop each week. The store has a ton more groceries than Hannafords, the employees are happy, and it just seems like a good place to shop. One thing though, don’t know where they get their fruit, but they could stand to up the quality. Other than that, it’s all good.

Out of all the Market Basket locations in Lowell, this is the best one. There’s an actual bakery here which is a plus unlike the other three I «used» to visit here in Lowell. Though I’ve noticed that they don’t have a large selection of the cheaper end Beef cuts that I would usually get in the other locations. Also the reason it’s not getting five stars is because just as everyone else has stated, it’s super busy and the parking lot is a zoo. They keep the place pretty clean but no matter what time you go, it’s quite busy. The prices are a little more expensive than the other locations also but I’ve noticed something interesting. The corn here is actually cheaper than the other locations and it’s a biggie for me since I eat a lot of corn and buy it quite often. It’s 5 for 1.50 here instead of 5 for 2.00 at the other places. Overall, it has its ups and downs but I like it. hence the four star review.

This is my go-to when it comes to food shopping, you can’t beat the prices and while the selection can be spotty at times, typically I get everything I need… or don’t need. One of the best(or worst) aspects of Market Basket is the type of people that shop there, most are normal, but once in awhile you see a gem of a character that apparently feels they’re the only person in the entire store at which point they find it perfectly normal to stop their cart right next to an employee with a cart stocking shelves and stand there because obviously nobody else needs to go down that isle. Shopping at Market Basket can be amusing, but most times is a pain in the ass. For me it’s all about prices, I can deal with a little stress once a week or so…

This Market Basket is closest to where I live, but I shop here only when I have to because it is always crazy busy. It has a good beer selection, but other Market Baskets in the area have the same thing. Because it is always so busy, the parking lot is dangerous. I stopped by to pick up a pie the day before Thanksgiving, and I was nearly hit five times as I walked to and from the store. I didn’t even count how many people cut me off or pulled out in front of me when I was in my car. I preserve my sanity by frequenting the Hudson MB on weekdays.

By far the friendliest, cleanest supermarket around. My favorite is the wine and beer tastings. Parking is tough on Saturday afternoon so get there early. They open at 7am.

Slightly better than the one by Papa Gino’s. The produce still leaves something to be desired though. I prefer Hannaford now for their cleanliness and extensive vegetarian/vegan fare.

Am I spoiled by Boston grocery stores? The star rating couldn’t have said it better, meh. The prices are the only thing that make me come back to it when I’m in the area. I also love that I can buy beer and meat in one trip, which can be rare in Boston. There is also an entertainment factor to this place; people. I honestly can say I’ve never seen a woman with a black eye buying produce. Until now. Thanks Market Basket for my beer, meats and black eyes!

Hands down the best grocery store in the Nashua area, and perhaps the best Market Basket in the chain. Fresh bakery. Wine & beer selection. And unlike other Market Baskets, this one is kept clean, organized, and not so crowded. I wish all the MBs were like this one.

I was in the Nashua area recently and needed to grocery shop, so I stopped by this location. I believe Nashua has 3 locations, this one is closer to the mall. Being just a few days before thanksgiving, it was pretty busy, but the same as the one in my hometown. Its a normal size with everything you can think of, and of course cheap prices, then you add coupons to that and you get even cheaper prices which is awesome! This particular visit they had wine tastings. MB usually never has any kind of sampling going on, I can count on one hand how many times in the past 20 years that I have seen it. So they had about 10 kinds of wine to try, and I ended up buying a bottle. They also sampled some cheese, but the woman looked like she hated her life and wanted to gouge out her eyes with her cheese knife, so I kindly passed by and didn’t sample her.

Cheaper than shaws or stop& shop with a better selection. Just over the NH border, this market basket sells cheap tax free beer. Boo yah!
