The bowling alley is bunk, but Kegler’s Den attached to it is a great little bar with a friendly staff, great drinks specials and a solid karaōke host on weekends. If you’re looking fora fun place in the area away from the downtown bustle in Nashua, this is a great place to try.

I had so much fun here! The employees were so nice ~ food wasn’t too great, but that’s okay! The amazing time I had made up for it.

This is a good place to take your kids. We took the nieces and nephews here and they LOVED it. We went during the day, and they had this dark-neon thing going on. It’s really dark inside, and they had crazy lights going off and loud music. The kids ate it up. They had a lot of fun bowling here. We got them a few snacks, changed their names on the display to weird nicknames each string, they thought it was all just great!

My husband and I went bowling at Leda Lanes with my sister, brother-in-law and niece and nephew over the weekend, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. My sister and I each bought a groupon, and my sister called a few days before to ask if we could possibly get 2 lanes next to each other and we were assured that it would be no problem. Unfortunately my sister didn’t get the name of the man she spoke to. We showed up at 5pm and went to the desk to check in and asked about getting 2 lanes together. The young man behind the counter was one of the rudest people we have ever encountered and just kept saying you have 2 groupons so we can’t put you together. My sister politely tried to explain that we had already called about this and were told that it would be fine and we were wiling to wait if necessary. This rude person just kept saying too bad, you can’t do that, etc etc. He pretty much made her feel like a liar and was totally rude and unprofessional. When we told him that, he just said whatever and walked away! We then tried to talk to the young woman at the counter who also said it really wasn’t supposed to be done that way(we know — that’s why we called! But really, what’s the difference anyway??) and that there were no lanes side by side available right now anyway. We offered to wait and she said it would be an hour wait. At this point we gave up and went to our different lanes. We hadn’t even gotten our shoes on when the lane next to my sister’s opened up. She went right back to the girl at the counter and asked if we could just have that lane and she said no! My sister asked why since she had earlier implied that if 2 lanes had been available that we could have had them and at that point she just said«I’m not giving you 2 lanes together» in the nastiest tone she could use. Like we’re criminals or something! We almost left at that point, and to be honest, we should have. I have never seen such rude and unprofessional behavior in my life, and these 2 should not be dealing with the public. Come on, the place is nothing special, with dirty tables, torn bowling shoes and bowling balls with lots of chips in them. There was a problem with the ball return in both of our lanes, causing each of us to have to wait for help to get the balls going again. My husband and I were given a lane next to a toddler birthday party, and had to deal with toddlers constantly wandering into our lane while we were trying to bowl. Really people, was it that big a deal to just give us the 2 lanes together and make us happy customers? Maybe we wouldn’t have noticed all the other flaws if we weren’t already so upset about the rude treatment. We won’t be back and will not recommend Leda Lanes to anyone who’ll listen.

I decided to give it a try despite multiple people telling me there way better bowling places. It is pretty dark and the staff is EXTREMELY rude. I won’t be back nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

The people at this place are so rude! Is there a negative 5 star available? 5 of us drove together expecting to play at the glowing alley: 2 adults, 2 teens and by the time we walked out a very disappointed 6 year old. We drove 45 minutes to get there and when we asked for 2 lanes the kid behind the counter threw down his pencil and a huff then sighed and said«I’m not supposed to do that» and refused to give us the lanes! There were 5 lanes open! We went across The parking lot to the other bowling alley and the woman there was on the phone with the guy at the first bowling alley staring at us saying things like«ya, I understand». She greeted us with eyebrows raised and a huge attitude and said«ya?» When we asked for 2 lanes there we were told that we could possibly have two but if more people show up that are not part of a group we all have to be combined into one lane. Omg… there were 8 lanes open there! We asked«if we were 2 separate groups, one group being of 3 and one group being of 2 and we were strangers would you still say the same thing. Just treat us like 2 different groups». They both said no they won’t do that!!! So let me get this right. You don’t need my money that bad that you are turning away people who will play all day there and spend a lot of money. OR is it that, gee, after treating us like crap, let me give you my money because I deserve this treatment?! Don’t. Ever. Go. Here. Another example for my children to learn to treat people with respect when it comes to working AND to go to college so they don’t become these miserable people.

Have been coming here since I was a child… as an adult I drink in kegglers w Vick. a great bartender! I bought 2 groupons tonight great deal for my family to have a good night together. I told my sister in law who said grab one for me as a gift as well. so a total of 8 people we had no problem with the girl who checked us in and retrieved our shoes .set us up w side by side lanes. when I went back too the desk to retrieve our pitchers of soda. another woman was at the desk who proceeded to tell me that I was not allowed to have 2 groupons and we were not supposed to have lanes side by side. very unprofessional. proceeded to tell me she new the rules because she made the groupon. I asked her name she said Alexis w a snicker. I did no wrong in asking what the bartender asked me to do. too get our pitchers of soda… this woman was rude.unprofessional. and is making this establishment look bad. yes I had groupons but deff made up for the deals I got by buying multiple alcoholic beverages and spend cash in the arcade… didn’t appreciate the snickering in the corners w other employees and the uneasy feeling of spit in my drinks…

Leda lanes is an exquisite high class dining experience. We started with the pickles, fried to perfection. A sumptuous beginning to a wonderful three course meal. The main course, a hearty and meaty hotdog, served with a generous portion of ketchup, did a delightful tango on my palette. We finished with the chicken wings, delectable and tantalizing with an ever so delicate tangy kick, satisfying the senses and leaving us wanting more.

Wish I could drink here, but when I went into the keglers den they wouldn’t serve me or my girlfriend(23yo) because one of the people I was bowling with was under 21. Tip: don’t go here unless your entire group is 21+ and let’s be honest who goes to bowl and not drink.

We went on a Friday night @ around 9pm. It was wide open. Nice and quiet! A/C. Full bar next door with a bartender who brings your drinks right to your lane. «Dave» was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We had fun. Slightly pricey but we played for 3 hours! They are only open til midnight. If you want to go with your kids, you can bring them in the glow lanes next door. It was nice to be somewhere where there wasnt sceaming children everywhere. There are pool tables and arcades if you want some additional fun. This will probably be our winter hangout where we can have fun, have some drinks, and bring some friends the next time!

Very rude staff!!! This used to be a nice place to take the family. I went there with them last Sunday. We started bowling and ordered some food. It came out in dribs and drabs. The kids pizza took about 30 min. After an hour I was done bowling and still didn’t have my pizza. I went to the bar and said that I wanted to cancel the order, it had been an hour and I was leaving. She got pissed and didn’t want to cancel and mocked me. I went to the manager and told him what happened. He looked at me said yup and then turned and walked away! No wonder they are in bankruptcy!

Nashua isn’t very far from Boston, it’s pretty much on the MA/NH line above Lowell. This place is really big, two sides of lanes and a big pool table section in the middle. We only bowled two strings because we were tired and it wasn’t really cheap. I bowled a 101 and I was happy with that. If you like cosmic bowling/glow ball, Leda actually has a separate bowling alley across the parking lot. I really like that, mainly because it pretty much separates kids from adults. Unsure of pricing/how it looks inside there. Pros: Big parking lot Decent action on the pins Tons of lanes Games/pool tables Free ball buffing machine Separate cosmic area Cons: Cash only Not very cheap, $ 4 a string per person on the weekends Water bubler didn’t work I wish I could give a 3.5÷3.7 stars, but I will give a 4 since I feel it was better than 3.

Being from out West, I had never even heard of candlepin bowling, let alone actually played it. My group and I decided that it’s kind of like skeeball on a larger scale. We had four adults and an infant. We played two strings of bowling, plus ate two rounds of food and drinks(cheese sticks, nachos, fries, soda, chicken strips, etc.). The food was typical bar food but it is exactly what you’d expect at a place like this. The place was packed full of families but, it’s so huge, we didn’t have to wait for a lane. The staff was very friendly and joked around with us. They took mercy on us foreigners and taught us the rules of «real bowling». We had a fantastic time. I’m not sure why so many of the other reviews state that this place is so expensive. We were there for over two hours, paid for two games and shoe rental for 4 adults, plus ate a ton of food and spent about $ 50. We thought it was a great deal. I can’t wait for my son to be older so we can take him here. Candlepin bowling is perfect for kids because the ball is much smaller. We had a great time watching and laughing at all of the kids having so much fun.

If you are here for strictly candle pin bowling, then it’s a great spot, and even better prices. The looks of this place can use some renovations. It is 2011 people. Also the service is fairly slow. Maybe hire more staff? It shouldn’t take 20 min to get a beer. Esp when we first went up to the bar. Bowling aspect was fun & those working are friendly!

Have you ever had fun and felt depressed at the same time? Best way to describe the thrilling experience that is Leda Lanes. Joselyne S. had a few hours to spare this afternoon, so I grabbed Scott B. and we were able to work in one frame to our busy, fun-filled Nashua afternoon. The creepy thing about it? We were literally the only ones there just before 6:00PM on a Tuesday. I guess people in Nashua just don’t respect the flicker of the candlepins. Anyway, this old man came out of nowhere. I like to imagine he worked there, but it’s more likely he was some sort of old man that died in the bowling alley. Let’s call him«Mr. Leda.» So, we were visited by The Ghost of Mr. Leda. He liked to yell things at us, only some of which I could even begin to understand. He was awesome. I have many fun child memories from here, and I made a point to bring Scott B. there because of that. It was the site of many a 3rd grade birthday party. Also, for three people and one string of bowling, it was $ 18.00. In New York City it’s A LOT more than that, so that was kind of a refreshing bargain. Love to hate this place.

Expensive, but fun. - We took two kids here the other day. This place is DARK! So, they aren’t kidding about the glow-bowling part. They set us up with a lane, and the cool thing is they can set whether or not the bumpers come up for certain people’s names. So, if two kids in your group need the bumpers that protect the ball from being a gutterball, then when it’s their time to bowl — it automatically makes them flip up. Then when it’s the big-kids turnm they automatically retract. Kind of cool. AND — the place serves BOOZE! It’s kind of a funky place inside — with the dark lighting and blacklights and small table setup, BUT — the kids had a great time and I love the fact that you can get a BEER while bowling. That’s a rare find these days, which is kind of sad. Nothing like getting drunk while watching your kids! HA, I joke. Or am I???

Got here early on a Sunday morning. Someone mentioned that some of the employees have an attitude. One person seemed ok. This other girl gave us attitude when we inquired when the charity fundraiser event would start. We played a game on the last lane near the doors… lane was a bit warped and the pins were always wobbling. Game was $ 4 a string per person. We returned later for the charity event that was being held on the other side, lanes 1 – 15 or so. Lanes were not much better. The system is pretty out-of-date. They have to input your names into the system. After the event, we went to play at the arcades. We informed a person that one of the machines was broken. She really didn’t care.

Have to admit I know little to nothing about bowling, but had a great time regardless. The shoes were rocking(neon green & orange), the place was clean and they had waitress service to your lane. The beer selection was way better than I was expecting(Sierra Nevada on draft) and only $ 5 a pint. The people(both other customers & employees) were super nice and friendly. All in all a good way to spend an evening when your totally sick of the usual activities.
