My daughter has been dancing at this studio for 1 ½ years now. Although she has been dancing since she was 2 and competing since 6 she came from a studio that offered a 1 ½ hr ballet class a week and was taught completely improper technique by improperly trained/educated teachers. In under 1 year at Gatecity Ballet now at 5+ hours a week in ballet my daughter is an unrecognizeable dancer! In a short period of time her technique, flexibility and strength had improved drastically! The resumes and education in dance alone of every single faculty member at GCB speaks for itself! I remember when we started here and we were too late to sign up for the spring ballet performance of Lion King we went to the show as support for our new family and as my daughter and I sat in our seats, the moment the show started we sat with our mouths completely dropped open to the floor in shock! I felt as though I was in NY at a Broadway show put on by Joffrey Ballet! I mean«what was this??» It was like a fine tuned machine of gorgeous ballerinas all in sync with each other as their true passion of dance Sarah-Beth and the rest of the faculty had instilled them shown throughout the entire performance! We were not only hooked on this studio and it’s family. but we fell in love! When we tried some sample classes at other studios around the area NONE compared to when we stepped thru these doors. Just the welcoming by Sarah-Beth, the faculty and the students made a VERY rough transition for my daughter leaving her former life long studio who didn’t care or value her not only as a dancer but a human being who mattered! A LOT easier. They have been nothing but supportive, welcoming, friendly and the training and choreography my daughter is now receiving is top notch for sure! Thank You Sarah-Beth and staff for welcoming us with open arms. I look forward to the years ahead watching my dancer grow and loving it in the process :). If you are looking for THEBEST studio to send your child… STOPHERE! I assure you, you will feel the same way as I did! Sincerely, Kerrie McBride/Madison Abreu
