We order sandwiches from D’Angelos for lunch and call in our orders to go. The sandwiches are always ready when they say that they are, are very fresh and the staff is very friendly and professional. As I said previously we order frequently from this location and for the very first time we received a sub that we were not happy with. The sub that we received this week was a little soggy so I called just to let them know and no questions asked they just put the credit on my D’Angelos rewards card. Great customer service!

The café sandwiches are pretty tasty. I’ve had the turkey avocado and the roast beef. The roast beef was a bit tough to bite in to as the cut of meat was quite a bit gristly, but all in all not bad. The food is pretty reasonably priced also.

One of the best things about being back home or in Boston is I can finally go to D’Angelos. I don’t know when I become obsessed with this place, but it was sometime near the end of college. There was one within walking distance from my dorm when I lived in Boston. New York City does not have D’Angelos. This has been one of the sad facts of my life. So, when Tina picked me up off the ol’ exit 8 last night… I figured we might as well hit up my favorite sandwich shop on Amherst St. No one was there — we were in and out pretty fast. Tina got her ol’ standby, a #9 while I got my classic — the cheeseburger sub. This one(and the one in Merrimack) are far superior to the South Station location, but really every D’Angelos is amazing. They make the food right in front of you. The staff is usually young, around high school age, but not too dismissive of getting what you want when you want it. I also scored a 10% coupon for my next visit, so you know I’m gobbling down another one before I take my bus ride home.
