I do not know how this place stays open ?? Extremely ‘RUDE/CHEAP OWNER” Barely Passable Food. This place has taken a TOTALNOSEDIVE in recent years.

I have been going here for close to 30 years. It used to be a great lunch stop! There would be 2 or 3 people behind the counter and customers 3 deep along the whole thing. You placed an order, one person made it, you paid and you went on your way. Today, 5 people behind the counter, 5 people waiting to order and 15 people waiting for mediocre sandwiches. Hastily thrown together and not usually exactly what you asked for. I tried to call my order in, but the phone only went to voicemail. The girl at the register tells me «sometimes the phone just stops working». 25 minutes after ordering, I did get my sandwich. My slip number was #48, #40 was still waiting when I left, and he had ordered before I even showed up. If only we could go back in time!

Good food but every time I go in there to eat, the tables are dirty! Also sometimes during the winter months, it can get a little chilly.

Used to be way better…(quick too) We have lived around the corner for years and used to go here a lot. They were fast and tasty… Scaled back our visits in recent years trying to eat less fast food. Went in this past week for a «quick» dinner for the kids so the wife and I could go on a date night… 47 minutes for 4 subs… at 4:45pm!!! Movie night adjusted as to have our dinner after instead of before. The extra long wait seemed to have been shared by the others in there at the time… It’ll be a good long while before we visit again… 2 stars only because speed isn’t a reflection on taste… Kids said the subs were good…

honestly, I love love their pizza but let’s be real some of the employees look so miserable that it shows. Good service isn’t a reason to show up(you’ll be let down) so as long as you can ignore bad attitudes, you’ll end up with some bomb ass pizza.

I’ve been going here for years and hands down the Italian sub is something to drive out of your way for. It starts with the roll. Soft yet has that chew texture and holds up to a packed sub. Then the cold cuts and cheese, sliced super thin so you can bite through with out pulling out half the ingredients with it. And the toppings of your choice. Personally I love just a simple lettuce, tomato, hots, oil, S&P. Perfect in every way. The best Italian sub in Nashua.

The first, last, and only trip to this dump. Poor experience today at Christopher’s. The service was very slow, our order was wrong the first time. Then the meatball sub was cold and inedible. We ordered a chicken finger dinner for my son and only got 3 fingers. The menu board says 4 so I went to the counter and was told the dinner only gets 3 and the side order gets 4. Very cheap in my opinion. I told them this & they reply with«it’s been that way for years.» No apology but just attitude. The floors were very dirty and this was an overall zero star experience. It’s hard to believe you can screw up a basic sub shop.

Foods great but when ever u call it just rings and rings as if they are purposely ignoring the phone. If they are very busy they should get head phones or something. I’m like the 15th review complaining about the take out process… Time to fix the issue

What business doesn’t answer their phone when the customer is calling to place an order? This is the second day we have called 4 – 5 times with no answer. Just rings. Around call 6, they now answer. Why we keep trying I will never know! Also, the girls behind the counter are miserable and aren’t afraid to show it. Too bad we like their food …

So good! They don’t deliver, but their fried pickles are amazing, their pizza is really good and the subs are excellent!

Cold subs are okay but watch out for grilled subs! I have observed on numerous occasions the cooks using the same utensils to mix raw chicken and steak with cooked steak and chicken. This can cause cross-contamination. I brought this to their attention and they had no idea what I was talking about. Their response was this was how they were trained. Suggestion: Please use separate utensils for raw versus cooked meat.

Good food, good location(for me at least). Quiet atmosphere but I took to go. I’d definitely get food here again(particularly the steak and cheese!!)

The pizza is good, but the service is horrible. We usually order here as this is one of a few pizza places my wife likes. We tried calling around 8:30pm on a sunday, they close at 9pm. Got a busy tone. Tried for 20 minutes while we were driving to the store. Same thing. I have seen in the store previously they tend to take the phone off the hook if they feel they are too busy. Got to the store at 8:50pm, attempted to order 2 pizzas and 2 subs. Person informs me that I cannot order pizza since he shut the ovens off 10 minutes prior. Not sure I understand the business of a Pizza\Sub shop not selling pizza 30 minutes prior to actually closing. Why not just close at 8:30pm or have a sign informing customers when you actually sell specific food. So with a business that is scheduled to be open until 9pm, you cannot order half of the store after 8:30pm. Great business motto!

I ordered a turkey club wrap and apparently they only have 1 size, so she gave me the price and i was caught like a deer in head lights, 10 $ for a turkey wrap! Really? I could have gone to applebees for lunch for that, sorry they need to relax! Not to mention they’re tiny slices if pizza! Either drop your price’s or enlarge your portions significantly!

Was calling to order to a pizza on my way home bc I was passing by but was put on hold for 8mins, would have been longer but decided to just hang up and just went in instead. The place Wasn’t that busy to be put on hold for that long. Yes, I understand I’m not the only one ordering food but being put on hold for that long isn’t good business.

I use to live only a mile or two away from here growing up in the early 80’s and god how much I miss it! I moved to Florida in 1990 and have yet to match the flavor of the pizza or the Steak Bomb. If you mentioned the Steak Bomb down here they look at you as if you have a third eye! Whenever I visit Nashua I make sure Christopher’s is on top of my list! Couple slices of pie and half a Steak Bomb, Game Over! We will be together soon once again. Much love.

Ordered pepperoni pizza and sub with pepperoni, salami and american cheese. Pizza is the same as TJ’s deli, which is already my favorite, but they aren’t open on Sundays. Sub was good. Ordered with American cheese, came with provolone, but was still tasty. Only thing I don’t like is that their toppings are chopped instead of sliced so they fall out, not a fan of the mess. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. Overall, good sub and I would definitely order again.

You know, it’s been over a year since I wrote that review. Going back and reading it is tough, because I almost felt I was insulting a friend when I was writing it because of how deep down I love Christopher’s Subs and Pizza. I’m happy to say, things have gotten much better. The biggest improvement — the staff. These people are so much friendlier now, and way more attentive. They seem to appreciate your business where before it felt like your presence was a hassle. The food as always has remained fantastic. Their subs are some of the best in Nashua — the ingredients are always super fresh and delicious. And who else does Pizza by the slice these days? It’s an awesome option for someone that doesn’t want a ton of food, and the pizza is always excellent. At about $ 2 a slice? You can’t beat that. I really hope you’ll take the time to go visit them. My personal favorites are their turkey and bacon subs, steak and cheese sub, and Sicilian Pizza. For those into things like chicken and fries, they’ve got that too, and it’s great. Dining in is a treat, as their décor has remained largely the same since the 80’s — and not in a bad way, in an awesome nostalgic way. The place is always clean, so eating there is very comfortable. Give them a try, you will be pleased!

The pizza here is decent and the chicken fingers and fries are pretty good! The prices here are pretty reasonable. I’m in agreement with the previous reviewer that this place can be confusing because there are different lines for subs/regular food and pizza at separate counters. I had to make two separate transactions for my thin crust pizza slice and the rest of my food. They use a neat compact drawer fryer to cook my chicken fingers and fries. Breakfast is also served Mon-Sat(7:30AM-10:30AM) offering bagels, bagel sandwiches, breakfast on a small sub roll: Chriswich(2 scrambled eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 ham strips & melted American cheese) and Eggs In A Garden(2 scrambled eggs, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, & melted American cheese), and Green Mountain Coffee. There is ample seating in the old school dining room with Christopher’s Selected Graffiti(words of wisdom) and food for thought posted on the walls.
