We’ve delivered both of our children here and we really couldn’t be happier. The staff was really wonderful, courteous and helpful. We were afforded the privacy we needed, but never felt neglected. Special shoutout to Keri and Jean, thank you! Also, the nicest touch that St. Joe’s does is the ‘Celebration Dinner’. It’s a great meal of your choosing and it’s just such a thoughtful touch. Just an FYI, my wife goes to OBGYN Associates in Merrimack. They’re affiliated with the hospital and my wife LOVES them.

my Life has changed. My bundle of Joy is here and healthy! The maternity center here has been fantastic! My hub and I are soooo happy that we decided on this hospital. There were 2 – 3 other hospitals we were considering. The«city» hospital, we were told, would be less focused care time and the other hospitals were too far or just mediocre verbal recommendations. I want to highlight a few people that really stuck out of the crowd with their attentive care and professionalism. (I got to know a good number of the staff from being there for bedrest and other visits) *Rochelle: a very hard working and professional nurse who is thorough and very caring *Jackie: a long time nurse(heard she’s helped with delivery with 2 different generations … I wouldn’t double even for 3 generations!) Lots of enthusiasm and knowledge. I hope I have that energy she has at her age… she’s retiring later in the year!(good for her, loss for the patients!) *Karen: first nurse I worked with there and she’s very down to earth and at the same time professional and very easy to work with. This family hospital has so many others who I have not listed here that are wonderful, but at this pt forgot their name :/(I worked with one night nurse once and she was so nice but cant remember the name and another night nurse who was so thorough and positive). I will have to update this review when I get their names. I will say there was one nurse who the hub could not stand… he called her space cadet. Nice lady, but just not on top of her game. I guess a lot of people request for a different nurse when she is their nurse. I didn’t think of doing that at the time. Their lactation consultant, Teri D, is amazing! She speaks so calm and relaxing to make the whole breastfeeding experience that much better! She’s extremely knowledged and will work closely with you to reach your BF goals. I still see her and talk to her on the phone for consults. Other moms who delivered here will only say amazing things about Teri; a great asset to the team there. The whole doctor team here is great! Dr MacMillan is so easy to work with and practices great professional work! Other doctors I saw that I liked a lot: Dr Paolilli, Dr Wasserman(superman(temporary?) tattoo), Dr Poulin — All of them were very comforting and helpful throughout the pregnancy. It makes a huge difference when you have hard working caring doctors and nurses on the team; if we have another little one, he/she will be delivered at this hospital again! The food here was fantastic. hehe. I gained a Love for orange jello … I now always have orange jello(no more strawberry). I would always get their tomato grilled cheese, tomato soup, fries, fresh choco chip baked cookies, and jello as my lunch and sometimes dinner meal. Breakfast, I would get the french toast and corned beef hash and milk and bacon side. They really make great food for the«room service» menu. Since then I have stopped at their café for the grilled cheese and jello lol. Oh, one more thing. They do a last night«candlelit» dinner prior to checking out of the hospital post partum. We had the filet mignon and veggies and the cheesecake etc. Very good meal :) They really make the whole childbirth journey special! *finger snapping in the air* :)
