The Lothian House

Have spent a weekend here every summer for the last 7 years (visit the area to pick up the kids from summer camp)
On the river with beautiful surroundings.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. The décor is quirky and cute. Things Lou has picked up over the years.
It is close to Narrowsburg downtown, with some good restaurants.
Best of all are Lou and Bill. Wonderful hosts and wonderful people.
Would recommend it highly for a nice break from the city or for an event

I found this to be a nice bed and breakfast with beautiful, breathtaking surroundings. I attended a wedding in July here and had the opportunity to stay on the grounds. I couldn’t believe how huge it was and how many rooms there were. The house is very old fashioned and weirdly has many Mickey Mouse cookie jars all over. I love the birdcage in the front room and the deck outside. I stayed all the way upstairs in a room the connects to two other rooms and the bathroom. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the AC was in a room that had a door closed but it wasn’t too hot at night. The husband and wife that run the bed and breakfast also oversaw the entire wedding (they said they have about one a year there.) The set up of the tent and tables was very nice and the ceremony was right on the river. The front lawn was were the cocktail hour was with access to the house to sit wherever you’d like. A friend of the owners was the bartender and he refused to take tips because he said he just does it to help out his friend– I thought that was really nice. The bridal party took pictures on the bridge that was right across the street. This is the perfect venue for a shabby chic or rustic wedding.
