I recently installed all new windows in my house and called Greg to help with window treatments. I originally thought I wanted blinds but after Greg saw my house, and the close proximity to the ocean, he suggested shutters throughout. After having the shutters for almost a year, I can attest that he was exactly right in suggesting them as an optimal solution for our seaside climate. During the summer, they offer a breeze while still providing privacy as well as sunlight and look great after a season of mist, fog and moisture. We are thrilled!
If you are installing new windows and need window treatments, call Greg. Sit down with him and learn about shutters (especially if you are close to the ocean) and then work with your carpenter to have frames designed to easily accommodate shutters. Ours required a bit of retrofitting, but in the end, I am very pleased!
